  1. I watched a small portion of the show today. This was the 1st show I've seen since Sharon left. I've been a fan of Wilson Cruz since My So Called Life, so I wanted to see what he was up to. OMG, this show is so horrible now. It was painful to watch and sit through. There's no magic. The hosts have no pizzazz or chemistry. I'm not usually the type to call for a show to be cancelled but pull the plug already. 🥱
  2. I like Sunny but part of me wonders if the treatment by Whoopi has to do with Sunny's not so great personality traits. She can be very, very long winded (not that she's the only one) and doesn't know when to stop talking. She's also very repetitive. How many times is she going to use the words "the former disgraced, twice impeached president, etc., etc.? Even I am tired of hearing that. I guess this comes from her lawyer background. But it's overkill to hear it on a daily basis. Sunny also tries to be dramatic and be very girly (not that this is bad), but this seems to tick Whoopi off as well. Maybe Whoopi should use her acting skills a bit more at work to hide her apathy.
  3. So true. She looked like a pilgrim. What was she thinking? And the hair didn't help.
  4. Glenn Close is awesome in so many ways. It's a shame that she lost the Oscar once again. Last night was her 8th nomination and her 8th loss. What an injustice.
  5. I personally don't think anyone should have lost their job over this issue. As a fan of both ladies, I am not pleased with everything that has happened since. In my opinion Sheryl and Elaine were wrong in painting a picture that Sharon was racist just because she supported her friend's right to freedom of speech. Sharon said she didn't agree with what Pierce said but she agreed with his right to state his beliefs. For the record, I don't think Pierce's statements were racist either. He does seem to be holding a grudge against Meghan for abruptly ending their relationship. I don't see that as racist though. As to Sharon's behavior, it was very unprofessional. She overreacted. However, I think she felt betrayed, ganged up on and painted as a racist on national TV. I also think she was a bit hurt with these accusations coming from her friend and cohost, Sheryl. For this, I excuse her behavior and accept her apology. Just because you disagree with someone does not make you a racist. This and other similar matters have gone too far. I am so done with this cancel culture. What happened to working things out, forgiveness and second chances. I don't know a lot about Sharon behind the scenes. So I can't speak to that. I do know that she was very entertaining on the show and I will miss her. I know she has her many, many haters on this board, but this was too far and unnecessary. If the rumors are true, maybe this is karma. I don't know. Lastly, I hate that this has possibly ended the friendship of Sharon and Sheryl. So many times during conversations Sharon would say that she loved Sheryl. I will miss that. Sharon, Sheryl and Carrie Ann were the last good hosts on the show. I haven't watched since they went on hiatus and came back and I don't know if I will again. It's just not the same. It's not the fun environment that it used to be.
  6. To me the show was at its best with Julie, Sharon, Sara, Aisha & Sheryl. This was the dream team. They really shined when they talked about important issues. But they could also be quite hilarious when talking about pop news and silly topics. I do feel that they played it safe a bit too much though. And I agree with you about the new hosts. I'm sure they were cheap compared to former co-hosts, but they are not exciting to watch at all. I don't see the show lasting too much longer unless they make some major changes.
  7. Thanks for posting. I don't like him that much, but I will watch the interview to see what Sharon has to say. I know I'm in the minority but I miss Sharon on the show. She was and has always been quite entertaining. And I think the whole drama that went down was very overblown and unnecessarily led to her leaving the show. This whole mess has left a bad feeling with me and I can't bring myself to watch the show anymore. I don't know if it will be forever, but as of right now, I can't.
  8. If Sharon does not come back they seriously will need a big draw to get the ratings up. I think Rosie and Marie could do that. I like Brigitte a lot but I don't think she's a big enough to get the ratings where they need to be. Kathy Griffin needs a job and a 2nd chance, but I doubt that will ever happen. Plus, I don't know if she would be a fit for this show.
  9. He is very missed. I hope he shows up soon. That makes two of us.
  10. The show is rarely good these days. Of the two new hosts, Elaine is a better fit. She's a editor and journalist, so she's tailor made for this type of show. Amanda seems genuinely nice, but I'm not feeling her in this role. I hate to say this because of what's she's been through. So I hope she gets better. However, she doesn't add a lot to the conversation most of the time. Often she says something once and repeats the same thing a second time. Hopefully she'll get some training. She's worse than Eve. But Eve did improve a bit. Maybe Amanda will too. Most of the topics are boring. For me, this show is best when talking about serious topics with the occasional fun topic. Also, the hosts overwhelmingly agree on most topics. Elaine, is a breath of fresh air because she has often given a different perspective. The show was the best with Julie, Sara, Sharon, Aisha and Sheryl. They were all sure of themselves, great talkers and entertaining. I had hoped Brigitte Nielsen or Rumor Willis got the job. I really hope the show gets better. The lack of comments on this site alone, speaks volumes.
  11. I'm sure it's a little of both. But to Chad's concern's about his wife's feelings, it hasn't been long since Abigail left the mental facility. She could easily relapse.
  12. With the exception of the Hilary Baldwin discussion, I found today's show to be very boring. I really hope it gets better.
  13. Speaking of Chloe, I'm shocked no one has mentioned her lips since she returned to the show. Am I the only one that can see the growth? Her lips look huge compared to before. I always wonder why such pretty women do these type of things to themselves. In my opinion Chloe is one of the prettiest women in DAYS history. She did not need to alter her lips.
  14. I too, so love Ben & Ciara together. I really felt for Ben and his struggle with putting Ciara's ornament on the tree. Having Ciara show up (if only in his mind) was such a sweet moment. They can be a bit sugary, sweet sometimes, but I love their fierce loyalty to one another. As for my other favorite couple on the show, it would be so cool if Jensen Ackles could reprise the role of Eric until Greg Vaughan comes back. I know it will never happen. I just hate not seeing this super couple together.
  15. I rarely watch the interviews but I watched this one because I've always found Wilmer to be incredibly handsome. He did not disappoint. I don't know if it was an act or not but he seemed like such a great guy. And as far as the new hosts go, I'll give them a try. I was not happy about the choices but I'll have an open mind. Carrie Ann was not my choice when she was selected but I was so wrong about her. She's a great fit. However, the show does need a make over. It's a bit too agreeable and boring. The show was at its best with Julie, Sharon, Sara, Sheryl and Aisha. Everyone was strong (even Sara, although quiet) and opinionated. It didn't feel like everyone was saying the same thing over and over again.
  16. She was talking about the movie. Sadly, it looks bad. I hope the documentary will be good. I'll probably watch that instead.
  17. Kate telling Jennifer off was my favorite part of that episode. Jennifer has a right to feel the way she feels but she needs to, as Kate put it "get over herself". I truly hate the way Jennifer is handling this matter. The wedding was not the most exciting but I did enjoy John choking the life of Jan. That was golden. 😄
  18. In terms of Sheryl having something to do with Marie leaving the show. I don't believe it and really hope that it is not true. The way Sheryl always fawned over Donny Osmond and connected with Marie on a spiritual level make that rumor so hard for me to believe. However, if it somehow was/is true would make Sheryl one of the biggest hypocrites. Her talk about how the Queens of Comedy did her dirty and how spiritually centered she is would make me question her morals and truthfulness.
  19. It's funny because not too long ago Julie Chen mentioned on WWHL how The View had become a revolving door of hosts. Be careful what you say, Ms. Chen.
  20. I so agree that the show is not good right now. My favorite couples Eric & Nicole and Ben & Ciara are gone and I don't like the new Claire, Jennifer or Theo and Hope and Will are gone. That's too much loss/change. Furthermore, I'm not feeling this Jack slept with Kate story, Jan Spears or Philip. Who cares? After Monday's episode I removed it from my DVR. Hopefully something wonderful will happen down the line to get me watching again. As for now, sayonara.
  21. The over abundance of cleavage she showed today was sad, tacky and just gross. I found it so disturbing that I had to stop watching. It reminded me of when Aretha Franklin wore outfits that showed way more than anyone wanted or needed to see.
  22. I wish I could say the same. I was looking forward to seeing Theo again (Kyler Pettis). I had no idea the role had been recast. I was beyond disappointed. So we now have a new Claire, Jennifer and Theo. That sucks! At least we got the same J.J.
  23. And having a little fun with Nick. Plus Wendy was being a little playful/frisky with Nick.
  24. Jenny & Nicole guessed it was Wendy. Robin guessed Sandra Bernhard and Ken said Mariah Carey.
