  1. I get what you mean - I feel like Susanna and Kat have crushes on each other, but not sexually. Kat is enamored with Susanna's strength and fortitude in a difficult time for women, and Susanna is enamored with the life Kat gets to live and her ability to jump between 2 worlds. Their friendship might be my favorite thing about this show. The Nick thing is stupid and they could do away with that altogether. I really don't like Del or the way she treats Kat. This may be a personal thing because my mother was a similar way with me. No slack for anything. And constant unnecessary little comments. I get why Kat left for 17 yrs. I wonder if Del could use the pond, or if you have to be a blood Landry. I suspect she can't .. but she finds out about the pond and asks Kat to ask Jacob to come back through.
  2. I think the Canadian girlfriend thing was a play on the Breakfast Club "She's Canadian, you wouldn't know her" which turned in to the "She's Canadian, her name is Alberta" long running joke. At least, that's how I took it. Lucy immediately clocking that Kai had a relationship with this woman, then realizing that "the" Canadian actually existed made me laugh. I have to say when Sokolov confronted Lucy about her family, Yas did a good job really selling the anger. "That was a compliment about your family." .. "That somehow makes it worse." I actually would like to see more about her family dynamic. Maybe one of the brothers will show up because the dad is terminally ill. Which reminds me, I remember the episode where Kate was a maid and talked about her brother dying, and that her parents were also dead. I can't remember if they ever clarified if it was true about her parents? Maybe that's how she could afford that ridiculous condo on an FBI agent's salary?
  3. I was talking about Brian Robbins. I was under the impression he had a long relationship with Schneider, and was one of the people in power who pretended not to see the fuckery going on in his own house. Maybe I wasn't following the story properly.
  4. Its weird to me these things still happened without consequence at that time. This was long after we knew what the Coreys and others had been through. I too feel some sympathy for Drake. I was too old for these shows and don't really know anything about him other than what I've read here. It obviously doesn't excuse anything he may have done, but he does seem to be a redeemable person. He certainly needs to do the work though. I didn't realize till after I watched, the Brian they were referring to was the other guy from Head of the Class. I agree the other actors shouldn't have to make any public statements about what happened, but Robbins certainly should. He needs to be held accountable, or he needs to be removed from his position. Every single response from Schnieder is an obvious lie. He's a pig. And I really have to wonder what happened to Bynes. She seemed like a nice kid, and its certainly possible her issues are chemical or hereditary, but you can't help but think even if that were true, there were likely other factors involved in her downfall. I hope she finds peace.
  5. I had this recorded .. I'm 5 mins in and her stupid voice is the reason I'm here. Omg I would have walked away within 5 mins of meeting her - she would never get a commission out of me. She sounds like a stupid teenager. I was in SJDC not long ago - to me its much nicer than CSL. I recognized a store where I bought baby powder in the background 😆 He said they'd only been married 10 yrs. They both look at least mid to late 40s, so I'm guessing they had decided no children by then anyway.
  6. I'm never good at guessing who the bad guy is, but even I got it in the first 5 mins. Otherwise it was a decent episode. Sidenote - I was on a flight from Newark to Las Vegas and got stuck in the aisle in first class while boarding. It took me a few but I realized the entire first class cabin was all boisterous black people. I noticed the only quiet person was sitting on my right and as I turned to look at why this person was so quiet, he looked up at me. It was LL Cool J. I went "Oh!" and kind of pointed at him. He smiled and nodded, and I smiled and nodded back. His smile is ridiculous. One of my few Brushes with Greatness.
  7. I liked this episode. So Jacob was hidden in a tunnel that you could access from Cyrus' house and not in the actual basement? Susanna meantioned they were used for smuggling, but I have to ask why you would need tunnels in those days? Its a very small town and apparently a remote property "on the hill", seems like you could just wait for it to get dark and do whatever, rather than spend all that time digging tunnels. Also, seems like a bad idea to use those big torches in a tunnel that seemed to have a lot of wood, and no need for that much light. I have grown to dislike Colton. Why in every frikkin scene does he have to remind us Landrys are quality people? "A Landry never gives up! A Landry always works hard! A Landry always returns their library books on time! A Landry always excels at parallel parking!" Omg give it a rest. I also feel bad for Del but it looks like she will be let in on the secret. Wonder if she will try the pond? Surely they will use Casey Goodwin for something else? I hadn't thought about them being Alice's kid, but that would explain why they like hanging around Kat - seeing grandma in her younger years, like Alice did when she first jumped. Its possible they could be. I mean, we never saw anyone who claimed to be a Goodwin acknowledge them, so we don't know if this Casey is actually a Goodwin. If they're a time traveler too they would have access to all the records already archived so they could craft a believable persona.
  8. Yeah, this is why I almost never watch serial shows. What a stupid fucking ending. Writers think they're crafty or original when they write shit like this, but really its just a ridiculous story. "Lets introduce 40 characters and make the culprit the only person who couldn't have done it because they're already dead. But wait! Lets give her plastic surgery and even change her eye color, so no one who knew her could recognize her now, even her own kid!" The thing that really sucks is there were a lot of details that leant themselves to a good storyline. Although I still appreciate the siblings drunkenly singing Styx. I watched that scene twice, and I'd laugh all over again if I watched it a third time. Oh, and I liked that Leila got redeemed, and was proven not to be nutcase.
  9. Yeah, I think Imogene probably is. I'll admit I didn't see that coming. I feel like this is going to be one of those Murder on the Orient Express endings where everyone is Victor Sams. Everyone left alive killed one of the victims for some random reason.
  10. I agree, they knew it was Jacob and not Thomas so they were going to get him either way. I think the thing about the clothes was just finally confirming to Kat that it is in fact HER Jacob. She was reasonably certain but this was a 100% confirmation. I think she just didn't want anyone to see because she didn't want any questions. (ETA posted at the same time as Eyewatch)
  11. Del still being rude to Mr Handsome Neighbor. The further this goes, the less I like Elliott. Was his father an alcoholic or just a jerk? I feel like most of those Eastern seaboard towns were fishing-centric in the early days, so why was his father being such a baby about not being a farmer? Either way, Elliott has no idea what Kat has been going through but he was so quick to accuse her of "ruining" Suzanna's life. Seems that the Augstine genes were a better quality back in the day. Now we know who painted My Katherine. And obvi there is something brewing there. Kat has way more chemistry with that guy than she does with Elliott.
  12. I enjoyed Tracy's story - he had a little bit of everything going on. And him mentioning early that he's sensitve made perfect sense. People who are very sensitive and grow up like he did find a way to cope - and humor had to be his. I love that we didn't see crazy, loud Tracy. This was clearly important to him and he came to learn. It was nice that he didn't even try to fake not being moved by it. My family came from a small Polish village that was mostly Jewish, and I grew up in a very Jew heavy community in NJ, so it made me laugh that Tracy is 4% more Jewish than I am. I didn't enjoy the other guy so much. He's a stage performer who started nearly every sentance with "Yo, like ... " I get where he came from but, man, expand your vocabulary in conversations. I really struggled to engage in his story because every time he started to talk, my ears started to bleed.
  13. I like Kacy but I agree that was unprofessional. I don't mind the food thing with Kai and Kate, what annoys me is they make Lucy the foodie. These shows always take the 87lb adult and tell us that person has a voracious appetite. Like Yasmine eats more than 1200 cals a day.
  14. I'm not sure anything actually happened this episode... Well, Del gets to babysit the horse... otherwise ...?
  15. I have not seen this series so I will look it up. I actually met Lucy at the Orangery at Kensington Palace. I didn't know who she was at the time, but I was with someone who works on royal documentaries who knew her. She's really friendly and pleasant.
  16. I'm being petty here, but I feel like one agency should know the other is called Metro, not LVPD. One of the quickest ways we'll know you're not from around these parts. NV has a Naval base, and LV has 2 military bases .. so yeah, seems like maybe Janie didn't need to make the trip. That said, I know nothing about how the military/intelligence communities work, so maybe she did.
  17. I don't think so because Alice said he was the most popular guy in the school and coffee lady said not anymore because he graduated. Yeah I was wondering that too. Alice seems very straight so I can't imagine them dating, but maybe they'll bond over something.
  18. For me, this show is getting better as we go. Chyler seems to have settled in to the role and seems more natural in it. Alice is nowhere near as annoying as she was at first, and Del is less pissy. Its nice to see them getting along. Del was not very nice to Mr Handsome Neighbor. So if Jacob marries the Augustine lady, then Kat and Elliot are related ...
  19. I can't get with the Kat/Elliott pairing - they're like siblings. So based on the painting is Kat part of the rich family? Would people really be buying up that farm land out in the middle of nowhere? What could you farm in that climate?
  20. I don't think they said who actually did that. I assumed it was Kristine, but it could have been one of the other boys at Kristine's direction. I didn't get the impression it was either one of them, just that they didn't want to talk about the fact that it happened at all.
  21. Good lord, I had to take this all in before even thinking about posting. And now .. my brain is tired. I don't like Michael but I don't remember Natalia stating he ever abused her - just that he never protected her from Kristine. I have something - not quite sympathy - but something, for Michael. I do believe he was also a victim of Kristine. The Michael from part 1 seems to be devolving with each set of interviews. I'm wondering if he is also autistic? I remember in part 1 Kristine making a comment about whether he was taking his meds. I feel like either he has gone off meds he really needs, or his doctor has not found the correct cocktail yet. If he's not autistic he definitely has some form of mental illness - he definitely seems manic and unstable at times, but I do feel like if Michael had been married to literally almost anyone else, this story would have ended differently. It will be interesting to see if he ever gets to re-establish a relationship with his other sons. Kids like that often start to see the insanity once they hit adulthood, usually because they start to seriously date someone, and no doubt Kristine will try to manipulate the fuck out of the boys as soon as they find those girls. Maybe that will work in Michael's favor and will bring him some peace and mental stability. I don't trust Mr Preacher Man as far as I can throw him. His meltdown over h-e double-hockey-sticks was ridiculous. They're just words you fucking pansy. Maybe focus on the giant abused elephant in the room rather than a couple of random letters?
  22. Kelly and Tucker Reed. What a couple of pyschopaths. It sucks so much that Kelly got exactly what she wanted - her brother dead, all of the moms assets, and no jail time. That poor notary stuck up in the middle of nowhere with this insanity going on - I truly believe she's lucky to be alive. I will never understand people who value money/property over all else.
  23. I get that London guy hadn't been there before but the way he described what he was looking for was weird to me. His comments made it sound like he thought he was moving to some post apocolyptic penal colony. I mean, in the internet age you can learn everything you need to know about where you're going ... see exact buildings and doorways on google maps, calculate walking distance to everything you might ever want to see while there, etc. Also, how is he from NYC and so trepidatious about such a move? I grew up in NJ and I find London so much easier and safer to navigate than NYC. My famlly traveled all over Europe in the mid 70s with wrong sided cars and paper maps .. and we lived to tell about it. I liked the apartment they picked - I would have picked the same. I hope he settles in quickly so they can explore all the other cities just an hours flight away.
  24. Jfc this website is so full of bloat, after 3 tries to post I finally had to move to my phone. Matthew Broderick was hilariously over the top. "Hold my gun here? Or here?" I'm going to go all in on Oliver being responsible for Ben's death. He didn't murder him, but had a kerfuffle related to the play, and an accident occurred. He's laying false clues to make others look guilty. He wiped FP off the mirror after Mabel realized they could match the handwriting .. because it was his handwriting. He never liked Joy so he used her make up to make her look guilty. He's so desperate for this play to be successful, and to be back on top again, he's acting like a crazy(ier) person. (I will add, I am never correct when I make wild predictions)
  25. Geneo Grissom and Haley Eastham. They were college sweathearts, she is an attorney in Dallas. Looks like she went to law school in Boston while he played for the Pats. I think was retired from football by the time that was filmed, but I don't think they mentioned if he had a new career. They were very nice - I really liked how they treated each other too. Seems like they had been together for quite a lot of life changes and still seemed to really genuinely like each other. What I really liked was they each wanted the other to have what they wanted.
