  1. Not surprising, Hannah, another reality TV star... So predictable. Another season of navel-gazing... trying on dresses, looking pretty, tons of make-up on her face while talking about her "journey", about how "hard the rehearsals are going to be, like, really hard"... Ps. Looking at the most recent photos of Gigi and Tyler there is one thing that hit me hard. I don't know why is Gigi supposed to be "better" than Hannah just because she is a supermodel. She is better than Hannah (in my opinion) but for different reasons I will say something I have been thinking all along. It is so nice to see Gigi, wearing sportswear and casual clothes, with her hair in a bun, withnatural make-up/without fake eyelashes and looking...so normal, approachable. I look at her pics and she is a natural girl, a pretty girl who looks just like me in my everyday life (minimal make-up, casual style), just happens to be a widely famous supermodel. She is so much more relatable than Hannah with her fake eye-lashed girlfriends from Bachelor Nation who try so hard to be pretty/relatable. Even Hannah in her recent interviews... too much make up and trying so hard. I think for Tyler it is refreshing to hang out with a girl like Gigi. He seems to be an authentic person, very down-to-earth. Hannah is so high-maintenance, to be honest I think GiGi is more relaxed about things and more laid-back. She is self-confident and doesn't feel the need to be in the centre of attention all the time like Hannah, who is constantly in approval-seeking mode. A wild thing to say but I am convinced a supermodel is more easy going than Hannah.
  2. Hold on. Maybe Tyler should reconsider. There are so many opportunities to milk the Bachelor fame for a lifetime! It just hit me, doing a quick count here... 5$ times let's say 100 people audience, 500$ a gig! Now that's a career opportunity he cannot pass on!
  3. Chocolatine, it was some I heart radio music festival which will be held in late August this year from what I remember. "Everybody will be there". Ben&Ashley are partners with this radio / their podcast is sponsored by this station. Biakbiak - thank you! I heard this name many times but somehow I thought it was some other Ben. He sounded nuts on the podcast.
  4. What a hypocrite! Now she regrets sleeping with Jed plus 4 times (!!!)with Peter and refers to it as something she is repenting? I have no words ... I am not very religious but definitely not delusional about it as she is. Her church must be as desperate for members as she is for a husband. Maybe I should switch to Windmill Church of Convenience. By their norms I am a deeply religious person. At this point I have more respect for Luke's Shower Jesus Church. Ps. Sorry for the snark. I hope I didn't offend anyone with late evening sarcasm. I have respect for all faiths.
  5. I was smirking hard listening to Tyler's interview with Ben&Ashley. I don't know who Ben is but I gathered he was the lead some time ago (the Ashley persona 's crazy talk was actively killing my brain cells). Anyway, Ben was so adamant / keen on giving Tyler unsolicited advice on handling post-show fame. He considers himself an expert in the matter because he gave him a lecture on how "this tourney will change him" and how "in 5 years time he will be grateful for it looking back" provided he does X&Y (some shallow bits of advice)... Now what is funny is that both of them were so excited to include Tyler into Bachelor Nation world (they invited him to some music festival all the "allumni" are going to attend (to f*uck each other I presume?) and this Ben character offered Tyler advice on how to handle father's illness and invited him for drinks). Tyler of course accepted this warm welcome to Bachelor Nation world, responding "tell me when and I am there" but it didn't sound so sincere. I think Tyler is the only person normal enough to see how ridiculous/toxic/limited/uninspiring this crowd of people is! He voted with his feet, running away from them all as soon as he could and now everybody is giving Tyler sh*t (my favourite Rachel included) and defending Hannah who has NOTHING in her life besides reality shows (now dancing with the Stars , right?)and all things Bachelor. And how ironic is it that Bachelor Nation hoped Tyler would stick to their group, mingling with them, probably starting his own podcast (this is apparently a must!), shilling crap, going to events and dating other former contestants. Surprise! It turned out he has other prospects and ambitions in life! The Bachelorette was just an adventure he won't be defined by like all of them still are...(this Ben persona is a freaking weirdo (can somebody explain his claims to being the expert here?), he sounds like a legit cult member)
  6. Oh guys, bubble ot not, no explanation can repair this. She wanted Jed over Tyler. Things went this way for a reason. Heart wants what it wants and Hannah was drawn to Luke and Jedd. Tyler was there! In the bubble, saying everything a girl wants to hear. She didn't feel it. Maybe it was insecurity I don't buy this story. She was so scared it was too good to be true and Jedd was "safe" while she really wanted Tyler? She didn't want him. No. If a guy chose some chick over when I was there putting myself on the line so much and came back ONLY when the relationship with the other person didn't work out, I wouldnt take him back. No way unless he really tried for weeks/months to prove himself again to me. Not just because he asked me out for a drink.
  7. I watched some interviews with Hannah and Tyler and whoah. Tyler has all his life outside the show and it is fun&full. He doesn't focus mainly on his love life and the franchise... He has opinions on other tipics and is not as limited as Hannah I know that she is promoting the show but she talks only about her "being the strong woman that she is" and keeps on repeating the same scripts we have heard 1000 times in every single interview. She has grown so much bla bla bla. And as for the question what the future holds for her, she answers that she will see, she is now "a strong woman who knows the love she deserves" bla bla bla... She has NOTHING to say besides "I hope to be continue to be a strong woman. And independent and I want to have people to support that. I am going to be sharing my story very authentic..ally" (exact quote)and that is her plan for he future. Nothing more, about career, ambitions, ideas how to use her fame to actually do some good/wortwhile. This is so disappointing. I guess being an IG influencer / "media personality" is all she dreams of. No depth, no substance to her. People seem to be in awe of her being "well-spoken" and a role model. Really? Are these people teenage girls? She keeps on repeating the same things in every single interview. And when Jimmy Kimmel gives her a chance to come up with a quick answer to an unexpected question, she is short of words. Tyler really can do better. He is so much out of her league. And I never believed the theory of "leagues" but the difference between them outside of bachelor bubble is striking! I wish him all the best.
  8. Seacliffsal, you are right on the money 🙂
  9. Pilot Pete was on Rachel Lindsay podcast and here is the summary: 1. He said he felt really bad about Hannah dropping him rightafter their night and it was painful (he admitted it, which I liked, it was in poor taste ...)and a bit uncomfortable/suprised with her sharing the details of that night but he is cool with it 2. He said he "definitely would love" to be the next bachelor and it would be a YES from him had they offered him this opportunity Overall, he is very vanilla but has a great sense of humour (we didn't see much of it ) and is smart and genuine. Not bad. I would still love to see Tyler but he is bit over the show... Pete is definitely better than bland Mike.
  10. I've only watched now. That ship has sailed, Hannah. Tyler was not eager to rekindle anything, he was just being polite. His jokes about CH paying for their date and catching up... Sure, why not. That's a polite "thanks, but no, thanks". It was hard to watch, I felt for Hannah. You ain't that special snowflake everybody tells you are... She started to believe it. That "bold move" of hers of asking him out was.. cringe-worthy
  11. Quick question: what is Hannah's job? Is it assumed by her father and everyone that the future husband is going to provide for her? They were grilling Jed pretty hard about finances. I guess her role in a marriage is.. what is it exactly?
  12. Ms Blue Jay, let's agree to disagree. You didn't get my point. It is not about playing devil's advocate, it is about critical thinking. And I am glad that Matteo didn't join the choir but analyzed the situation for himself and expressed his stance ( I personally disagree with his view but I utterly respect it and applaud him for critical thinking)
  13. Actually I always become more alert when the vast majority of people shares the same opinion on sth. Exactly in these moments I raise my awareness and question the very same thing everybody supports. Majority is not always right and democracy is not the perfect political system, it has its flaws. Many times over the course of history the majority stood for people and ideas which were purely devil. Therefore, to me it is very important to voice a contrasting opinion (of someone like Matteo) in these situations. I hate sheep mentality and people who turn their brains off just because "everyone" thinks/does something and they feel the compulsive need to join them without examining the situation by themselves. The voice of Matteo was the most welcome by me, it somehow eased me a bit during Luke's "trial". Ps. It is not to defend Luke. It is bigger than Luke. And I am glad some people still have some ephathy for "the villain"
  14. I agree to some degree with those "defending" Luke. He is not a sociopath neither a psychopath. He is mentally incapable of understanding complex issues and his emotional intelligence is well, very low. I don't believe he wants to manipulate or gaslight Hannah. He had troubles processing his emotions, questions and forming a logical answers. Have you noticed how he says something and then is SHOCKED how everybody understands it differently than he intended so he retracts it? There is some serious problem there... I don't know why anyobody would even engage with him (talking about the guys). Yet, they all did. They didn't let him crush and burn on his own. I think he was a bigger threat to them than they allow to admit. And I truly believe that we would have ended up with Hannah had they let him be. Hannah moved his primitive manliness, his screaming, taking Luke S. down. She lived it.
