  1. Oh, I had to turn the tv off when Gimple came on. there was too much of a party atmosphere and I could no longer hear. Is he doing double duty, then, working on both shows. Or is he leaving TWD?
  2. I used to navigate all the timey-wimey stuff by looking at Judith. She was the one constant. Tiny Judith for like two years after they left the prison mean we were still just a year or so after the ZA. Last year Judith was bigger, so a little more time had elapsed. It made sense. But this year, Judith has really grown, but Maggie's still not showing. So, I remain confused.
  3. I think you're right. They lost the RV, either at the farm or when they left the prison. I know it was gone by then, because they left the prison on foot.
  4. Have you found yourself leaning back while you make those pointless speeches? I like Tara, too! She's always been one of my favorites. She sweet, loyal, and has a light heart.
  5. Kirkman is the problem. The show was MUCH tighter before they made the decision to closely follow the comics. And Kirkman is NEVER going to let go of Negan. That's his alter ego.
  6. Thank you. That does make sense. She would, but I don't want her to get sick.
  7. THAT was truly annoying. I know Rick was trying to honestly give Dwight cover to leave, as well as the others a chance to defect, so I do understand his holding his fire. It doesn't mean I liked it. I kept telling him to JUST SHOOT ALREADY. Just found out that last season, beginning to end, was only three weeks in TWD time. She wouldn't be showing yet.
  8. She confused me. How long have they been planning? Maggie's still not showing, but Judith has aged a year.
  9. ***still laughing at your screen name*** Good point about Gabriel. I hope he's okay. I really like him.
  10. She was part of a 42 minute episode. She could hardly give every minute of her life, therefore things would obviously be left out. She said they threw her out without giving her any money, and she's a liar because she was able to make a phone call and get on the bus? She could have called collect. She could have snuck on the bus, inspired the bus driver's sympathy to let her on free, or happened to have a couple of dollars in her keeping. Very simple explanations rather than assuming she's a liar. Where did I say she was a liar? I said I had questions.
  11. It actually happened a couple of years ago. Lisa Marie (who may be lured back in) left with her mom and Reily. Sadly, Reily is also back in now. Forgot to mention my source. Tony Ortega has written about it several times, including today. Motor on over to the forums discussing the show on this site and see what I mean.
  12. You are a statistic after my own heart. I never watched Man Men, didn't get the thrill of even the idea of the show. I watched a few episodes of The Handmaid's Tale, but quit because it is a show with an objectionable (to me) agenda. I tend to stay away from shows like that; the purport to be entertainment, but they are really political propaganda. As the book was also. I read it when it first came out. I thought it was a nice bit of scifi. That's all, nothing more consequential than one of the million other scifi books in the universe. I didn't realize it was the Handbook for the Feminist Movement. But, it's taken so seriously that must be what it is. I'll give you a personal example. I play the Sims2. It's a video game in which the player creates neighborhoods and characters and does whatever he wants with them. I decided to make handmaid neighborhood, just for fun, and create people (not characters from the book), and just have the framework of the story be their neighborhood rules. Someone on one the game's sites wrote me this horrible message about what a terrible person I must be to envision such a thing. She wished me horrible things for my future. I wrote her back, saying I was sorry my game proposal had hurt her. She came back telling me how the book had scarred her and how frightened she was of that actually happening to her. I was like, really? It makes as much sense to me as being worried Darth Vader is going to appear, cut my hand off, and tell me I'm his father.
  13. I've been reading Tony Ortega's series about Dianetics. The chapter I was reading the summary of today included some of lrhuckster's drug beliefs. In Dianetics, he was apparently, not against them altogether. But at some time in the future (my guess is the Just-say-no-to-drugs 80's) he decided drugs were really bad and pretended he had never had a different opinion.
  14. Remember the guy who said they had called people he knew in grade school to ask about him? They are going to find out about that piece of bubble gun you found on the ground and put in your mouth when you were three. Wait until it goes through their spin cycle and comes out dirty.
  15. EVERY WORD OF THAT I didn't know anything about her before the show, but I looked her up afterwards to try to understand her story. It did start with the pay phone and bus ticket. Her mother was SeaOrg. It doesn't seem like her child would have a lot of spending money. And all the kids at school hated her because of her race. But they let her go home with them, for years and years and years? I know that kids can make it on their own and, as I said, I don't doubt her story. But, there aren't enough details to make the story make sense to me. The self-leaked sex tape I actually understand. This is a young girl who didn't have any parental attention. It seems as though mom was so busy trying to find spiritual answers that she focused on that more than on her child. I'm sure her mom was a good mother to the other children. Didn't she say her brother was at GA Tech? She apparently had raised good, smart kids. But, I guess, she pooped on by the third one.
  16. There's an accusation behind that statement, and I don't appreciate it. I also said I had a hard time with the red haired woman's story. AND I said that I didn't doubt Faust, but that I had questions. There seemed to be a lot of glossing over of facts. Plus, let's face it, the leaked sex tape story does hurt her credibility. She's black. Big deal. She's also gorgeous and a survivor. By the way, you don't have any idea what race I am. My cats are Maine C**** (from the avi) - that's all you know.
  17. I read that article and all I can say is logic is still hospitalized from being tortured so to come to those conclusions.
  18. No, you're totally right. It is a horrible story. Maybe it's because she's a public figure and I know things about her that makes me have so many questions. I don't know. All I know is that something about her puts me off. Illogical? Sure? And it's not that I flat out don't believe her, it's just that I needed more details. And I have wondered, on these very pages how anyone who walked away was able to survive. Chris something or another, who does a blog on youtube, actually helped me with that. I just can't imagine how a child ever made it on her own.
  19. that's part of my problem, I think. She was escorted out of the building with nothing, but she had enough money to call a friend. Okay. Then the next day she had enough money to buy a bus ticket and go BACK to the scientology school because she didn't know what to do. Okay, sort of. But, here's where my problem really begins. Wouldn't the school eventually be notified of her status as a suppressive person? I mean, WAS she even really declared at that point. She makes it sound like this went on for a while. Wouldn't she have run out of money for the bus? I don't know. I believe her story, and I'm uncertain about her story at the same time. She's not the only one. The red haired woman who lost her brother told a terrible story, but somehow I got the feeling that she was mostly upset about losing her land. The stories are horrible and most of them ring true from sentence one. But, just these couple....I have questions. I'm not saying they aren't true; I just wish there had been more detail and clarification given.
  20. Oh, I figured the reconciliation was a farce. No way mama would want to take that child back except as a sacrifice to lrhuckster.
  21. Consider the 2nd generation scientologist. He has been brought up in scientology schools, is not allowed to watch television that might be problematic for scientologists, gets NO news whatsoever because someone might mention the word (WORD!) scientology, and isn't allowed to discuss his or his parents' progress up the bridge. Would that child even know anything about CPS?
  22. Don't know how to do that. If no one wants to tell me, that's fine.
  23. I know. I appreciate the help trying to understand it. I don't doubt that she was thrown out of her mom's house. I just have questions about what she did afterward. I do hope that it was the case that she was to stay with people. I remember the story of the young man, Michael Orr, whose story was so brilliantly told in the Blind Side. I know God puts angels out there to help some of these lost children, and I hope she was able to find that help. I just wish they'd talked enough specifics for me to be able to put it all together in my mind.
  24. Hilarious! I especially liked it that all the women wore ties in the second video. But, if it's a real website, some idiots will try to actually join. They'll be fighting it out with the scientologists and rastafarians. I wish I had been there. Now, that would have been fun!
  25. Well, shoot, I'm blocked because I use adblocker. Can someone give me the skinny?
