I suppose I'm in an entirely different camp (no pun intended) on my prediction - Bode will get paroled and immediately be hired/promoted to Manny's job and be in charge of Three Rock. That's not the cheesy Hollywood way we all see this going? I understand when people say that Bode will do something to mess up getting paroled, but he always gets away with everything, so why stop now? He'll bust Sleeper rather than get caught up in it and be commended for his exemplary (eyeroll) behavior.

That's what I thought too. Plus now that I think about it more, it's just one scene with minimal CGI needs - they could have filmed it a month before the show premiered and edited it in. Maybe the helmet thing will be answered in Ahsoka or next season...

Here's a video I just watched with some interesting rumors. As she says, take it all with a big grain of salt, they are all just rumors. She says that Din was supposed to take his helmet off in the last scene with Grogu and the frog. But due to Pedro's unavailability, they couldn't film it. I find it hard to believe that Pedro couldn't find a day or 2 somewhere to be able to film a scene, but I guess anything is possible.

At least Shawn finally gets involved too. But is Soap Dirt written by an 8-year-old? That was... not good. (No offense meant to 8-year-olds.) Are we supposed to care about Harris Michaels? I sure don't. I'm here for the Bo and Hope reunion; once it's over, I'll probably tune out again.

The Bo and Hope reunion is why I started watching this show again this year. They better not screw this up! But of course my expectations are low. I thought KA did a good job with the last scene on Friday, and I'm looking forward to Monday's episode.

I missed an episode, so I guess I missed where Bode and Gabriella decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend? They have no chemistry, that's an awful storyline...

I think that Bo is now the leader of the Mandalorians, with the Armorer passing her the torch at the end, literally and figuratively. It was Bo who re-lit the forge. I'm not sure that the Armorer necessarily always wanted to be a leader, she was just thrust into that role after the purge. I'm thinking that she's actually happy to have someone else back to make the tough decisions. I rewatched the episode and I can answer my own question from an earlier post, if anyone cares - I asked where R5 came from. He was outside waiting on the surface the whole time, hiding behind a rock near where they all landed initially. He then used his rocket boosters to fly down to the base (which I think I did catch the flying part in my first viewing). I'm pretty sure he's in Mando's N-1 at the very end, too, but it was hard to tell. He's either in there, or Grogu has his bubble back, but I think it was R5.

I agree, I hope he's going to be the peacemaker. Plus, he stopped the fight between Axe and Paz when Bo said that no one could step in. Little Grogu didn't care, he'll stop them! I also enjoyed the fact that he kept spraying long after Din said he was okay and didn't need it. Grogu wasn't taking any chances!

That doesn't seem like a guarded response from someone who is unhappy to me, but what do I know. 😉

I expected to see him in this season, given the post-credits scene from Boba Fett. I can't imagine he'll be in Ahsoka or one of the other shows.

I was waiting for "Dad" at the adoption ceremony. I think it would have been cheesy, but I was game for it.

Plus, did everyone notice that when Ragnar re-did his oath, the Armorer left out the "never show your face" part? He said the oath he'd already completed, and then she poured the water and they were done. I'm thinking that might be important later on...

I think it all stems from the first season when no one knew his name and he wouldn't tell anyone his name. Greef Karga just called him Mando, although we know that Moff Gideon knew his real name and still does. Din Djarin isn't the only Mandalorian anymore, but he's still the main character.

I just finished watching and thought the same exact thing. But Favreau said that he's written Season 4; I'm wondering if this is a contingency plan if Pedro pulls out. I loved this episode. I, too, was wondering who was going to die. I was happy to see that neither Axe nor the Armorer were traitors, and I thought Axe was going to die in a kamikaze mission. I guess I forgot about his jet pack. I also love that it's come full circle, back to just Din Djarin and Din Grogu, going on Daddy and Me adventures. I was disappointed that Mando didn't take off his helmet when he was alone at his cabin; he easily could have. That was the most disappointing moment of the episode, but I'll get over it. I also want to rewatch it, because as asked above - just how did IG-12 Grogu find Mando and save him when all of the others were escaping to regroup? Did he go rogue on his own? I can't really believe that Bo would have let him do that, so he must have snuck off. And where did R5 come from? But yay for saving the day! Did we see him around the forge at the end? He made it, right? He should have been with Mando on Nevarro at the end...

I'm cautiously looking forward to it, but it will be very hard to separate the now-famous actors from the roles that made them famous, and JK Rowling. Also, the scenery in the movies was gorgeous, and Hogwarts *is* Hogwarts. How will all new sets, in addition to new actors, stack up? I think it's too soon, but I reserve the right to change my mind if they actually pull it off.

Just clarifying, do people mean Sabine when they are talking about Bo's sister? I thought that was her name.

Absolutely agree with both points. But then again this is the show that has had the devil come around three times, and quite a few other ridiculous storylines...

I thought that Stefano was/is dead, and they just put his "essence" on a microchip and then into Steve?

They're going to have to kill Victor and have it stick, unfortunately. Very sad.

From what I hear, Pedro Pascal is just a fantastic human, so how could he clash with anyone? If he doesn't like his costume, that's one thing, but I doubt he clashes with anyone that much.

Uhtred had 4 children total, one by his first wife when he was very young in the first season, and then 3 with Gisela. The first child died as an infant. He didn't have any children with Hild, but she took Osbert as a newborn and hid him. Gisela died in childbirth with him, but he survived. He's never mentioned again after his birth, so we don't learn what Hild did until the very end of the finale of Season 5.

In the season finale of the show, Stiorra is last seen hugging her family in Bebbanburg. A comment or two about when/why she left would have been nice for us non-book readers. But I also know that in the books, Eadith doesn't necessarily move on... Also, Finan's and Sihtric's sons (assuming they had some and not all daughters) should have been old enough to fight with them, and there was no mention at all. There were just a few "holes" that I would have liked to see explained. It would have only added a few minutes. I'm not sure what country you are in, but in the US, I can find all 5 seasons in the same place on Netflix. I don't know about Brida, but I would have liked to have seen Gisela in the final scene. She wasn't a warrior, but couldn't she have been there too?
