  1. I wasn't counting Wolf, because he's not in the US Navy. :-) But yes, he's Green's Australian equivalent. I assume that there are still other military personnel around the world and they are doing other things, such as the SEAL and others that we saw in previous seasons. And for their land missions, at least so far this season, it's made sense to wear civilian clothes to be "undercover" and not wear uniforms anyway.
  2. I second that! I can't stand Billie... what's her point? Something with Kate and/or Lucas? Sorry, but that doesn't interest me in the least... And please, no Chelsea!
  3. I don't have any special military knowledge, but I think it's obvious that Lt. Green is still the only special ops or SEAL on the show; he's still the only one who wears the different color scheme uniform.
  4. I loved the actor; James Scott is tall, gorgeous, and has a great accent. He actually made EJ a conflicted character and likable at times.
  5. Severide is confirmed alive by Derek Haas. I also think Casey is alive, because of the preview - it appears that he gets a medal. They are all in uniform at a ceremony, but observant viewers don't think it's a funeral. They all seem to think Boden can be seen pinning a medal on Casey. I didn't personally look close enough to notice this, but it's the consensus on social media.
  6. Maybe Seda's return will be explained by the department he was in dissolving somehow? The main attorney guy from that show is moving to L&O:SVU, so somehow they have to explain all of them leaving.
  7. Preview from the new showrunner. I guess it actually looks promising?
  8. I still like the show. It's goofy and completely unrealistic, but I like it. I like Chandler's character, and most of the characters, but I just don't understand Sasha... Yes, yes we do. Does it make ANY sense?? As I said above, this show is completely unrealistic, but I feel like until this season, one thing that they did do well was showing the chain of command. I guess not anymore. Good call. I didn't even think of that, but now that you say it, I like this theory.
  9. So this season is moving slow, eh? Sasha is awful. I need to know why she's in charge; I don't understand at all. Green and Wolf should be in charge on ground missions, no doubt. They were last season when Chandler was still in charge so why not now? I didn't mind Sasha before but now I really can't stand her. Rachel Scott was a much better female lead. I liked Mike's drug induced dreams. It made the character more human to me finally. I know Adam Baldwin from Chuck, where he played the same type of emotionless military commander and this episode was a nice little break. Yes, the ending was super cheesy. Yes, I liked it anyway. I'm still waiting for them all to shave... Green is usually my guilty pleasure, hot man in a uniform, but man he looks goofy with a beard...
  10. The actor who plays Theo is leaving, correct? So he'll go off to get treatment at the same place where Phillip grew his leg back, and be recast and return in about a year perfectly healthy. That's my prediction...
  11. Oh... right... and that's when Tex died on the plane, when he was saving his kids... Thanks, I remember now! Totally forgot!
  12. Definitely this too. Actually, while I see the makeup issue, I suppose it doesn't really bother me that much - but definitely this. Green has been in charge for 3 years, answering only to CO and XO it seemed. Now he answers to her? And the British guy? I don't get it either. I like that Wolf is still just there to look pretty and fight people.
  13. I wondered that too! Maybe he's dating Kara's mom and they are happy together somewhere else...
  14. Weren't Brady and Kristen about to get married in St. Luke's? And they've both been married how many times? (As how many different people?) Adrienne and Lucas, too, right? I don't think this version of a Catholic church cares much.
  15. The coming out story was very well done, I agree. And Chandler Massey is a good actor. But as you've all said, he grew up on screen - so what else has he done in the other 25 years? Not much. Therefore, I don't hate him, but I don't love him either.
  16. I don't necessarily hate him, but I don't understand the extreme love for him either. So I guess my unpopular opinion is confusion as to why he's so popular. He's mostly a boring character who hasn't done much to remember him by.
  17. I think he left his kids with the older woman. Is she his girlfriend's mother? I didn't catch who she was, but I think she had the better bond with the kids. He slept with Lucia to get access to her necklace, which was the key to open the locked office. I think it's his cover; I don't get the impression that he is the least bit interested for real.
  18. I watched a few episodes of "Doctors" which is also a British soap, I think? And it was like a real show with real buildings, outdoors, cars, etc.
  19. Doesn't anyone who was at the Battle of Blackwater Bay know about wildfyre? I think Davos does, certainly. Bronn? They may not know where it is stored or how to make it, but neither do Cersei or Tyrion.
  20. Do we know for sure that Eileen is coming back as Susan? Maybe this belongs in the "unpopular opinion" thread, but I couldn't stand Susan. Just so over the top ridiculous; I was not entertained.
  21. I don't necessarily care what she looks like, but she's overdone even compared to the rest of the cast. IMO, that much makeup would be very unrealistic. The makeup people need to learn how to make her look more natural.
  22. I totally agree. The sets are the worst... And whatever happened to going outside?? They did that ridiculous beach scene with Brady awhile back, and that had been the first time anyone went outside in years. They used to have an outdoor set! And I remember Bo and Hope would be outside, with actual footage of a boat on real water... Oh well, the good ol' days are gone, that's for sure.
  23. Do we know what happened to Green's family? Kara has her mother who can take care of their son, but did all of Green's family die in the plague? So the rule doesn't really protect the family back home when there is no family back home. I think we're saying the same thing. :)
  24. Sasha is/was a Navy Intelligence Officer. Remember when we found her, she was working (undercover?) in China. I imagine that her rank is pretty high, but I agree that I don't understand why she now seems to be in charge. Is it because we lost the higher ranking Burk brother? If so, then Green should be leading his missions, IMO. I can't imagine she's ranked higher than Slattery, but she sure acts like it. Probably just another moment that we need to suspend belief...
