  1. I don't think Gina thought everyone was jealous of her. Watching that scene it seemed she got burned by situations in the past because jealousy , so she closed herself off. Once they pointed it out to her, she made an effort and seems well liked. And nothing was ever actually shown to support the accusation by Kitty. Maybe she's a total jerk, I am just saying show didn't convince me. What is wrong with a girl being hopeful to get point and then disappointed? Why does that make her a bad person or arrogant for having ambition? Everyone time a girl is disappointed for not making show group or getting something they hoped for, she is criticized like being disappointed is a fatal flaw.
  2. Don't shame me, Bro! I have mad respect for Heather for having the courage and integrity to go the TPTB. Too bad it worked against her. If I want to take nudes, I am going to. It's not against the law. And if I get hacked, the hacker will get what he deserves when he sees my flabby, pasty, nekkid self.
  3. As beautiful as that was, is it bad that what I took away from that is that In-N-Out has a burger truck and I want it?
  4. It scares me how familiar all those names are too me, even after all these years. I remember the girls who were cut in the first 4 seasons better than the girls on the current team.
  5. I can look at any cheerleader and decide for myself how I feel about them and how they perform. Also, I don't give a gnat's arse about TK and would never judge how someone dances by their Mom being well, TK. Blame the show itself for a decade and a half of teaching us how to criticize like K & J.
  6. I am glad you have that opportunity and I appreciate you sharing your experience, I consider your posts a great read, The idea of suggesting that any of us not lucky enough to have met the DCC's opinions are less valid is really disrespectful. We all matter here, and if we all agreed it would be boring, and no one would come here and that would suck. I think we are all better people than to invite that kind of snobbery. One person's experience is going to be unique to that individual because it's still based on personal perspective. I mean, I've met Kim K and think she's a slob. But she's a rich famous slob, so clearly A LOT of people disagree with me.
  7. You are welcome to do so. I just have a different philosophy in general than you do. Social media is toxic and allows people to behave in a way behind the keyboard they would not have the nerve to do in person. The issue isn't really with who you know. The issue is people on social media are generally horrible immature jackasses who get some perverse enjoyment in causing people pain. They don't have to hop on those bandwagons and be judgmental weens, they make a choice to do so. I have never jumped on any SM bandwagon and I never will. And I have never met a DCC or been to Dallas.
  8. Agreed. Also, just because people haven't seen them live, doesn't mean their opinions aren't valid or their experience with the show less. Some have watched from the beginning, and have amazing memories. And since this is a forum for the show and not just the team, I think there are lots of people on here to trust when it comes to that. I think trustworthiness is based on how you express yourself and who you are as a person, not who you have seen in person or know. JMHO, but anyone, even people who know the whole team personally, can lie.
  9. Aw thanks for posting that. I am a sucker for performances like that. A lot of special memories made for those on the field. I have the hand it to the DCC, they make it look so effortless and like they are loving every second, which makes watching them so enjoyable.
  10. Duties and purpose of a *Point Girl* - we make it up as we go along, and then change it.
  11. I agree the best dancer should be front and center. However, Kelly sees this as a brand, so I think Gina (who I personally find appealing) lacks that universal appeal to be the face Kelly wants for point. Is that odd, unfair, and a matter of opinion? Totally. This is DCC, we could all medal if pointing out K& J's hypocrisy were an Olympic event!
  12. Representing only my own opinion, I don't see anything wrong with Gina stating JO as an icon she would want to meet. There are plenty worse options, like a Kardashian or Paris Hilton or BEIBER! (none of those are iconic imho, but I am sure someone out there thinks otherwise)
  13. I agree with this. I always liked Gina, but I am not going to be such a fangirl that I pretend she didn't represent herself poorly in the beginning (Whatever the reason, edit or reality). I also believe all of the team are at an age to show growth and mature from their experiences. I like to think Gina is one who took the criticism and wanted to be better than that. If not, she is better at faking it and hiding her "true self". I enjoy her as a DCC, and love watching her dance, but I don't think she's point material. She doesn't have the right look for front and center, but her skill would serve the triangle well.
  14. Meet me for drinks. I will have you reversing this opinion in 15 minutes, ten if you let me drive you to the bar.
