  1. Having read much of DC stories since Post-Crisis (1987-2010), I'm going to go with Grant Morisson. 90 percent of the time I just don't care what he has got to say, his writing is too obscure for the sake of being too obscure (Batman/Final Crisis), and when he is not being overly weird, he's just boring (JLA). Of course, there are times that he writes good stories, but most of them I can count on fingers.

Also, Brian Azarello... I read his Superman For Tomorrow and Hellblazer runs... all I've got to say that he writes some fewer dream sh*t that does not belong in main continuity...

Oh, yes, and how can I forget Louize Simmonson. Even though, as far as I know she has won numerous prizes for her writings, but I just don't give a sh*t about her Man of Steel series. It became much better when she finally (after 9 or 10 years) left the writing post for it. She couldn't write slice of life stories for Superman if her life depended on it, IMO.

  2. Ninth Cher album "Foxy Lady" (1972). This might be, so far, her 10 out of 10 album yet. I have no negatives to say about any of the songs. She really did grow in those six years as a musician...

  3. Seventh Cher album "Chastity Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" (1969). I don't know whether I'd say that this was a studio album from Cher, but... her motion picture soundtrack so far... yep, I'm gonna say 10/10. Very chillax and good quality album, which is vastly different from her previous ones, and clearly shows that professionals were working on it.

I sorta remember that episode on Moonlighting, was it a dream sequence? Or were they at some stake-out, can't remember...

Anyways, sixth Cher album "3614 Jackson Highway" (1969). It was alright, nothing outstanding so far.

  5. Fifth Cher album "Backstage" (1968). A decent one, I think I'm starting to hear somewhat modern sound in this one and some variety in arrangements (although, that was present in the previous one as well).

  6. Almost towards the end of Lev Tolstoj "War and Peace" Volume 2 Part 4. I guess, its better (different) from the rest of the parts, because at least a great deal of it is about a hunting of wolves in a forest, which I've found at least entertaining.

    Spoiler

Also, something is happening to Nilolaj in this, because the way, I don't know, let's say chapter 12 ended, it seemed that he suffered some sort of brain damage randomly, because he started hallucinating or something...

  7. Well, now, I can say that I've been to Ed Sheeran's concert in Kaunas, even though I haven't actually seen him.

Yesterday and today he was performing in open air (Darius and Girėnas Sports Stadium) that is located in the vicinity of Oak Park, and his music is actually heard almost throughout the entire park's environs.

So, yesterday, while taking a leisurely stroll heard loud and clear that he was singing in the stadium, and today decided to call in some friends and have picnic lol near the stadium on the grass. There was at least a couple of hundred people with us, who had the same idea. Haha.

Though, got to say, not really my cup of tea. Have heard in passing a couple of his songs, but, yeah, mostly, if I had been alone, I probably would have walked out after 30 mins. tops.

  8. Third Cher album, which is self-titled, "Cher" (1966). It was okey, more of the same style of music. It has another couple of songs that I have heard from before (not necessarily played by Cher, mind you).

  9. Second Cher album "The Sonny Side of Cher" (1966) was significantly better than the first one, also, had a lot of songs that I have heard from before (Like A Rolling Stone; Ol' Man River; It's Not Unusual).

  10. Started Cher discography. Wow, I did not know that her career is that long. First album "All I Really Want to Do" came out in 1965! And, well, the production quality is nothing to speak of, but it's a given, it's more than 50 years old! That being said, the whole album is somewhere above average. Has couple of stand-out songs even though their quality is kinda poor, and I see that Needles and Pins was to go to cover for some bands. Not really a fan of her singing in this, feels like she's really really bored and will fall asleep anytime soon lol.

  11. Final album of Alannah Myles "85 BPM" (2015). Wow, 20 years of hiatus. Um... and it's not good. First half of the album really really really meh, and the rest is average with three or four different versions of Black Velvet lol.

As always, subjective assessments of each album:

    1. Alannah Myles (1989) - 8/10 [Best songs: Love Is; Black Velvet; Lover of Mine; Kick Start My Heart; If You Want To; Who Loves You]

    2. Rockinghorse (1992) - 9/10 [Best songs: Our World Our Times; Sonny Say You Will; Living On a Memory; Song Instead of a Kiss; Love in the Big Town; Rockinghorse]

    3. Alannah (1995) - 5.8/10 [Best songs: Family Secret; Irish Rain; Simple Man’s Dream; Lightning in a Bottle; Do You Really Wanna Know Me?]

    4. 85 BPM (2015) - 6.7/10 [Best songs: Comment Ca Va; Faces in the Crowd; Black Velvet Terry Brown]

    Average album score: 7.3/10

  12. Started Alannah Myles discography. At least it won't be long (I think three or four albums tops). First self-titled album from 1989, it's decent. Besides Black Velvet, I think I also heard on the radio Who Loves You, but I could be wrong about that; maybe in some movie...

Can't really find their albums on youtube, so, here's spotify link:

  14. Completed Part 3 of Lev Tolstoj's "War and Peace" Volume 2. It ended with Count Nilolaj proposing to Natasha, but postponing the wedding for a year to appease his father. I mean, we are back to nobility salon intrigues after Part I, which ended with Nikolaj being indebted and running away to war, which was at least interesting, and Pjer shooting someone in a duel. And now... this... eh...

Two more parts of Volume 2 left...

  15. So, since I've noticed that the Ramones have some same titles of songs as Nazareth and Bon Jovi, so:

The Ramones - Something to Believe In / Bon Jovi - Something to Believe In

  16. Final The Ramones album called "Adios Amigos" (1995). Another almost 10 out of 10 album for me, if not for that one song.

  17. Penultimate album from The Ramones "Acid Eaters" (1994). It wasn't bad at all, but in terms of standing out songs, it maybe the album that has the least of them...

  18. Eleventh the Ramones album "Brain Drain" (1989). Solid one, way above average. And, hey, look, I have heard another of their song long ago - Pet Semetary.

  19. Tenth the Ramones album "Halfway to Sanity" (1987). Kinda mid, kinda good album. Damn, they have a lot of albums, somehow in my mind I thought they were active for a pretty short time, but I guess I mistook them for the Doors...
