  1. I thought the auction was stupid. Here's my Costco card!!! But Dean covering his family jewels as he went through the x-ray scanner was pretty funny. And why didn't they just take a photo or pencil rubbing of the tablets? Lugging them about all the time seemed ridiculous.
  2. Dean is reckless, impulsive and goes off half cocked. He's fun to watch. His intentions are always good and aiming to save the world. I like this about Dean. I see complaints that he's bossy....my way or the highway sort of thing. I also like this about Dean. It's been the same since the show began. Dean hasn't changed much. He's yells his opinion and orders people about (usually it all makes sense) then concedes because no one listens and of course things go sideways. Sam, on the other hand, has been up & down over the seasons in terms of personality. He has been a bitch, a cruel bitch. He's bloody secretive too. Sam knows which nerves to hit. Dean is all upfront. You know exactly where you stand with Dean because he'll tell you to your face. Sam.... not so much. Lately the writers have pulled back on this aspect of Sam and now he's all super understanding and charitable. He regards Dean with a tolerant and furrowed brow - like he's suddenly the big brother. The sensible one. I'm a bit over this now, although I don't like when writers concoct a wedge between them. I like that the brothers are full of flaws and foibles. Filled to the brim. I don't want them any other way.
  3. I'm absolutely 100% confident it's not about Sam or Dean... they are a given. They are the bread and butter and the reason most folk tune in. Unfortunately this has not clicked with Dabb. He will always search for something new, ignoring what he has...not realizing he already has gold and should be spinning stories with that gold. The Js are being criminally wasted under Dabb's tenure. But that's probably for another thread.
  4. Don't they show the gag reel? Maybe it'll be up on YouTube next week.?
  5. Me neither. Julian is brilliant in the role. And Death's death meant absolutely nothing in the scheme of things anyway I'm still hoping for a future episode where he shows up again "You really thought you killed me, Dean? An inconsequential bacteria like you?" Well, anyway, the tweets have got us all fired up. How long before the panel?
  6. Stop torturing yourself @Wayward Son Misha isn't going anywhere. He' s joined in the shenanigans the whole time at SDCC. I agree ^. I think it's 50-50. Casting these two actors as brothers was a brilliant move.
  7. But this isn't something they'd announce at a ComicCon panel. Anything to do with scripts or storylines will be off limits. Andrew will waffle about nothing, the boys will joke about. It will be fun - but we'll learn nothing about what they have in mind for the season.
  8. This is what I'm thinking too. He's joining as a series regular not just a guest spot. It's a bit disappointing and not exactly chilling. But these guys live under a rock and have no clue what's exciting and what's not. Jack might be the new Crowley - evil and mischievous and comes in handy at times, but don't trust him. Plus he's young. The cast is getting older and the fans younger (or so it seems).
  9. I think it has to do with Jack and the actor portraying him might join them on the panel today.
  10. It might be nothing more than the fact that they're adding to the cast and that Jack will be a regular next season. The actor looks like a young Misha judging by his pic at IMDb and even more teens will be squealing and tuning in. And the Js will get their time off. "if they do it right"... There's the rub. Jack could be a shot in the arm for the series. However, whoever came up with the premise of S&D as parents needs a slap in the head. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1947611/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t8
  11. The cloth of Jensen's jacket is really straining across those muscles. Oh my. Some super strong thread And baby makes three... ? Who comes up with these ideas??
  12. I'm a relative newbie when it comes to this show - so maybe this has been explained. But why do they have them excitedly yelling out progress reports in the Diary Room as we're watching them play the contest? They obviously don't stop in the middle to enter the DR and provide an update on progress so it's filmed afterwards when the winner is known. I don't get it? Makes zero sense and stalls the action and is just plain annoying.
  13. A cornucopia of photos and videos from SDCC. Our boys are having so much fun.
  14. I agree we may see more of Mary as they have to set up the Wayward Ones and I think she'll join that show if it spins off. Lucifer is pretty much past his sell-by date. I don't know what the powers are thinking, no one seems thrilled except MP himself (according to tweets) Jack could be interesting. He could be very interesting. I don't much like the set up of Winchester brothers as parents, but with some imaginative story telling Jack could be something new and fresh and Castiel could be part of it. Worry is a misuse of the imagination. Cas will be around for another 11/12 episodes this season just like before. I'm in the minority but I'd like a hard as nails, flinty Cas more in line with that new body belonging to his owner. Maybe an AU Cas?
  15. Jensen has come a long way. He's practically the ringmaster now on the Supernatural convention stage.
  16. I don't know who these people are. But the publicity for Supernatural sucks smelly socks. It's like there's this little show that's been chugging along for an astounding 13 years and the stars are gorgeous and talented and doing all kinds of charity and great stuff and guest stars rave about the family atmosphere and bursting with fans all over the world and they can fill Hall H at SDCC and make zillions of dollars for convention promoters... and yet no one really knows about it. It's like I'm part of a underground secret society and we should have a special handshake or something. I even stumbled across Supernatural (season 7) and I'm a horror genre junkie!! How did I miss it? Well, it's never advertised ... that's why. Last season I had ads for Riverview shoved in my face the whole time I was tuned to CW station. Banners would blank out half my TV screen at crucial moments during Supernatural broadcast. Friends recognize TVD, Buffy, Angel, X Files, etc., but look at me blankly when I rave Supernatural is the bomb. Who's photo is that on your phone? ... Jensen Who? Grrrrrr....
  17. It ain't gonna happen. Cas is the third pillar holding up this show and they need him even more now that Crowley has fallen. I'm not a Cas fan, but if I was I'd be more worried that they're going to muck about with his character yet again than kill him off. They've stripped poor Cas of everything since he arrived... but I just wish we could get back the original. He was sexy and cool.
  18. I have to laugh sometimes when the Js appear taller and fitter than the bodyguards surrounding them.
  19. I have to agree. All the other Real Housewives have begun to bore me, so this is the only version I watch now. All that wild arm flapping while yelling at each other is kind of fun too, pretty soon a housewife is liable to get punched in the face.
  20. It's very easy to shoot 'conversation' scenes that contain S&D without them actually being there. It's all in the direction and camera angles, etc. The scene in What Should... the actress playing Jessica wasn't even there, for example. So negotiated time off shouldn't be a problem in that regard. However, hatching S&D lite episodes seems to be a dilemma for our unimaginative PTB. Most watch for the charismatic brothers. Even after all this time they are the story. The Vampire Diaries brothers could go missing and things chugged along (there was even enough fodder for a spin off), but Supernatural tends to fall flat when S&D are not on screen. They have solid actors portraying interesting side characters, but keep writing them separate. It has never really been an ensemble. Instead of meshing peripherals ( like C2) into the ongoing S&D story, they kept sending them off on their own on some mission or other. And mother Mary isn't around five minutes before she's shipped off as a BMOL disciple. Castiel must continually be depowered and off to sort something out somewhere else. Crowley gets soft over the years and has mummy issues. If they wove characters together more and wrote all involved in the ongoing seasonal arc, there could be time off for the Js and it doesn't fall flat. Ensembles should pick up the slack. Instead it's kind of like ... meanwhile back at the long ranch. I'd also be ok with a brother exclusive MOTW during a season - starring only Dean, or only Sam or even only Castiel. I do appreciate these lads work long hard hours often in cold damp woods at 2 am. They've done their time in the trenches. I appreciate they want time off.
  21. I agree. The Bright interview was awkward and I hardly recognized Wil. I loved that the crowd cheered so loudly for our boys. Definitely some fans in that audience. And it was way more fun. I'm thinking the Conan producers wished they'd given them more time. The Js are gorgeous in all SDCC photos. Hope they have a blast. Hope they get to appear on more chat shows. Jensen's worn that shirt a few times... looks good on him.
  22. Apparently someone dropped out and Lady Toni agreed to appear. I'm just curious how it went. She's not exactly a fan fav. I agree re recordings. Usually they're up the next day. I am forever grateful to those awesome fans that record for us. I know at one time it was verboten and volunteers cruised the aisles ready to strike. Then it loosened up a bit. But lately fewer and fewer vids?? Auz bans photos after first five minutes and 'Amy' advised DVDs of the panels would be available. But I haven't heard anything? When's ComicCon?
  23. Jared by his own admission has a penchant for junk food and candy, and both like a drink or two and a steak or two. Both wives are apparently excellent cooks. I'd love to know their secret... although I guess it's working out for hours every day. There's a trailer with a gym at all times. And Jensen obviously relies somewhat on 'the cleanse'. And have you see photos of Ruthie? Yikes! She must weight 80 pounds! Jensen has pretty much stayed the same, but Jared has definitely become a bit thinner lately. There are some people that are naturally skinny and it's very annoying. A girl in my office can eat chocolate bars and drink sugary drinks and not gain a pound. She flaunts it in all our faces. I had to laugh at the actor portraying Lucifer (on Fox). The scariest part of the role apparently... 'trying to get into that skinny suit every morning'. LOL. Hope Jared is ok. He does look thin, tho. It may just be that he's hyper.
