I don’t like the premise for the prequel, I particularly didn’t like Mary and so have no interest in her, however what I have read does seem like an interesting watch if I can separate it from my love for Supernatural!!! I am a massive Jensen fan and I really like Danneel, she comes across as a really fun and spunky person, but Jensen said at a recent con that she had only watched a handful of episodes and Jared qualified that with Jensen agreeing that she had also watched particular scenes that Jensen had asked her to. So I cannot see how Danneel can have much input in the storyline possibly only as an EP I would think. I am probably totally wrong but it would not surprise me if this idea was in fact Danneel’s and she has not understood that the majority of fans (IMO only) do not like and are not interested in Mary and John, they watched for Sam and Dean and of course the Misha fans who came in later. I (unlike many here!) really like Jared but Walker is not the sort of programme I watch and as I am in the UK would involve downloading etc I have not watched any. I might have watched a few episodes if it had been on UK tv but I don’t have any real interest in trying to get to watch. I was and am a huge fan of The Boys (on my second rewatch currently) long before Jensen was announced as being Soldier Boy so I am desperately waiting for Season 3. I will try and see what the prequel is like but quite honestly unless it manages to just be a good monster/supernatural programme in its own right, I don’t think I will be going out of my way to see it and I am sad that I think I am not likely to be supporting Jensen in this endeavour.

This is concerning Supernatural - from an article in the NY Times on the Walker final etc - worth reading although quite short but this is interesting, it is almost an apology by Jared but his comment about staying off SM is rubbish as he posts on twitter all the time: "I hadn’t heard of it, and then he and I chatted [the next morning]. He just kind of explained: “Man, it’s not picked up yet. It’s not even written yet.” He knows and I know how much “Supernatural” means to both of us, and it wasn’t a secret he was trying to keep, necessarily. It was just something that he didn’t feel really even existed yet. But he has been like: “Hey, I’ll let you know what’s going on.” I love Jensen deeply. He’s my brother — he has been for many years, and he always will be, no matter what. He’s spent more time with me on camera than anybody probably ever will, so he knows my strengths and weaknesses more than I do, and vice versa. I respect his opinion. It was just one of those things that because it was online, and people were assuming I was part of it, I really wanted to just say: “Hey, I’m not keeping a secret from you guys. I just don’t know about this.” And I should be old enough to know better than to put something out there and expect that people will understand. It’s hard to tweet a specific tone. If you write it online, it’s like, “Oh, he doesn’t know! They’re going to kill each other! The world is ending!” And I’m like, “No, no, no.” [Laughs.] I try to avoid social media as much as possible because of that."

Danneel posted on Instagram a picture of herself with some Mantra product going for a run a couple of days ago, tried to post here but file was too big or something. I didn't think Danneel was the sort of person who went for runs! Jensen also liked Jared's post of him in their pool with the children, so they are interacting with the Padalecki's on SM.

I actually disagree with this, I guess it is who you follow, as I have seen an large amount of hate from Jared fans to Jensen. I have also seen a lot of very dedicated Jensen fans calling out his behaviour as well. I am not going to put 15 years of following Jensen and Jared and all the times Jensen has supported Jared to one side now, we do not know the whole story and as Jensen does not air this sort of stuff on SM I guess we will never find out if it was just an error or there was something more behind it.

This is certainly not what I saw or read, Jensen after the meeting said that "he was not sure about the ending" then he spoke to Kripke and then said "he understood and agreed this would be the right ending". After that I NEVER saw him say again that he did not want that ending or that he hated that ending he went on AGAIN AND AGAIN to say how much he liked the ending. There was absolutely no need for him to reiterate again and again that he liked the ending if this was not the case. IMO it is just all the people who didn't like the ending seeing what they wanted to see. Quoting from a twitter tweet: The Jensen that took Jared aside post finale, just the two of them to said he was proud of them and the work they did? I will keep using these examples because Jensen is not that guy. I don’t want him to be that guy. I have not been his fan for years to see him be that guy. this says what I feel.

Well I am totally against the flow on this subject on this forum. I liked the finale and I had no problem with how Dean went out and he is my favourite character. I have absolutely no interest in a back story of John and Mary and would be very surprised if it holds that much interest to a lot of people. Secondly I think it was a shitty thing for Jensen to not tell Jared before announcing it - Jensen has very much said time and time again how much of a friend Jared is - like a brother etc so I can see why Jared would be so upset. Jared seems to be a very emotional person so I think he is probably regretting putting it out on twitter but I can't blame him, it is a total betrayal IMO. I am so upset because I absolutely adore Jensen and this seems so out of character which makes me wonder if I have misread him all along.

I am one of the few – on this forum – that thought the ending was very emotional and I loved how they showed the brothers love for each other. I would rather Dean had not died and from what I understand that was the hiccup with Jensen at first but taking that was how it was decided to end the series it was done beautifully with Jensen adding the forehead and hand holding making it even more touching. I don't understand how anyone can say Jensen does not understand Dean, it just doesn't make sense. Jensen IS Dean, he made the character what it was, it was Jensen who put the Dean in Dean. The writing was towards the last half of the series all over the place at times but Jensen always gave 100% even when the writing made little sense, he IMO never not tried to do his best with the material he was given.

yes that is what I thought and probably is still the case - but there was a tweet about that i.e. he was in quarantine with a reply from who was identified as Jensen's Aunt saying "not yet" but it may have all been rubbish, I should have double checked first - I can't find a tweet to that effect by Kelli Trudel so ...................

So Jensen is, according to his Aunt, still in Colorado and Jared flew up to see him on his birthday. More food for the shipping and non shipping wars currently on twitter!

Apparently according to Jensen's Aunt he is still in Colorado and has not yet gone to Toronto - so that would mean he will not be filming for at least the next couple of weeks.

This is just one of the many tweets of the filming of The Boys which has Jensen's stand in - I have no idea why they are using a stand in for filming - would be very interested if someone could explain that! Also if that is the suit then I've gotta say not impressed. I was surprised to come here and find no one else had posted any of the numerous tweets including the one about several ex Supernatural writers and producers who are now working on The Boys.

I was quite interested to see that only Jared and Misha are doing VIDEO MESSAGES FROM ...... As far as Mark Shepherd joining in maybe because he feesl Dabb is now out of the picture? Also probably could do with the work, he has been promoting his Cameo profile quite a lot on twitter. It must be a very hard time for actors with so little filming going on in general.

So I am even more confused, from the fire behind and the "warm" clothes Jensen is wearing this would seem to still be where they have been for the last few months i.e. supposedly "Colorado" but they are together as a family and shooting starts this week for The Boys. I can't see that this instagram post would be shot before Valentines Day so either Jensen is not needed for the first weeks of shooting or they are in Toronto/environs of Toronto?!

I am confused though because he is scheduled to be in the first two eps of The Boys and filming starts on 16 Feb so should he not be in Canada isolating? It's lovely to hear his Jensen voice - though I miss like crazy his Dean voice!
