Good grief, how old are Christina and Douglas?!? I don't think Abishola is old, but I certainly thought she was older than them. But maybe it's just the way she carries herself and the fact that she's so serious most of the time. I think she's at least in her mid-thirties so that makes the twins pushing 40 and still acting like children? Yikes!

Did anyone else think Dolores looked scarily thin in her talking head with the blue dress and ponytail? Her face was so drawn that she looked sick to me. I hope it's just weight loss and nothing medical. And how the hell did people manage to lose weight during COVID??? I didn't get that diet plan! :-(

Same old Whoopi. If I don't care about the topic (splitting up items during a divorce), I will declare it stupid and then talk over everyone else so they don't get to express their view. Glad she took the time off to listen and reflect, LOL!

Hillary didn't destroy classified documents, Alyssa! Ugh, just when I was starting to think she was tolerable. And I think I'm going to watch that Lucille Ball movie, based on interviews I've seen on this show. It'll be nice to take a break from reality TV for a while, LOL.

Not sure if this would work, since comprehension seems in short supply in the Giudice household, but maybe ask Gia how she’d feel about someone whose behavior landed one of her sisters in jail? Would she be willing to just say “bygones”? Joe Gorga shouldn’t discuss the situation with her, but I think she should understand why he doesn’t have the warm fuzzies for her father. 🤷🏼♀️

What a fun show! Even Alyssa didn’t really bother me, nor did the over talking. Whoopi is not missed by me (sorry, not sorry).

I haven't seen the show yet. Is Sunny blaming Camilla more than Charles?
Of course she is 🙄. She didn’t mention him at all. It’s like Camilla forced him into an affair against his will. Clearly it wasn’t a good situation, to put it mildly, but there’s plenty of “accountability” (to use Sunny’s favorite word, lol) to go around.

While I'm sure Sunny feels Camilla done Diana wrong as the "mistress" (RME, because Charles was in it up to his, um, eyebrows too), I sincerely hope her over the top reaction was just for show. Otherwise, I agree with y'all upthread; give it a rest already!!

The writers were probably thinking of a magnet school like Stuyvesant/Bronx Science where you have to take a highly competitive admissions test for admission.
QuoteI attended such a school (not Stuyvesant) and then later became a tutor for students preparing for the entrance exam. It does get crazy competitive, on both the parent and student level, but the writers are definitely getting it wrong (probably in part because of your point that they are mistakenly trying to impose their NY/LA knowledge on a rust belt town like Landford). Mark and Darlene are acting like all the other students are morons who only got in because of their money, which is definitely not the case in these highly competitive schools.
I attended one of those schools too, although it was back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. But, speaking for myself and the vast majority of my friends, we were lower to middle class and just tested well; no tutoring involved. Sure there were some rich kids at the school, but the vast majority of the student body was regular kids who tested well so they didn't end up going to their neighborhood school. I'm sad to hear that has changed so much recently because the rich can afford to send their kids to private school (Chapin, Dalton, etc.).

Excellent point made by Emmanuel Ocho that often gets lost when the NFL is highlighting Mike Tomlin: the man has had 15 consecutive non-losing seasons!!! Compare that to the records of many white coaches, some of whom get hired repeatedly despite their mediocre records. And preach! about the nepotism in the league AND the broadcast booth (looking at you, sons of Phil Simms and Cris Collingsworth). Ahem.

Just caught a clip of her appearance on Colbert’s show last night. I believe Whoopi was forced into that apology tweet and still doesn’t get it. Too bad *shakes head *

and even 16 and possibly 17 year-olds would likely have to provide some sort of parental-signed waiver, as is done at sleep-away camp.
Not unless things have changed dramatically since I went to college. I was 16 and three weeks when I started and no waivers were necessary 😏

I agree with Joy and Sara; giving someone the silent treatment for an extended period of time is passive aggressive and hostile. Even if it’s your SO or another adult. Not at all surprised Sunny and Whoopi think it’s okay, but I’m disappointed that Ana agrees with them.

Joy’s hair looked great today and I loved her rant on the mom topic! “I didn’t realize I had so much to say”, LOL.

Whoopi completely mischaracterized the story about the in-laws who crashed the vacation! The wife in question had recently suffered two miscarriages and the loss of a family member (her sister, I think). They specifically asked if the in-laws' second home would be empty the week they wanted to use it. And when they arrived the in-laws popped up from the house next door as a surprise AND expected to have dinner with the couple each night as well as do at least one activity together every day. No matter how much you love your in-laws, or how much of an extrovert you are, that is NOT a "fun" surprise. Boundaries people!!!

Okay, that makes more sense because he’s supposed to be 43. But I rewound the scene and could have sworn it said 51. Too much wine I guess . . .

The things the government can do to you without proof? Girl, please. As a former prosecutor I can say I’m damn sure a judge or grand jury signed off on your indictment after they were provided with - PROOF!

I’m sorry; am I seeing things or did they show Dennis’ mother’s age as 51? Because I think that’s biologically impossible 😂

Captain Lee’s comment about shitting in someone’s mother’s dinner plate is the most disgusting thing I’ve heard in a very long time. Are we really supposed to find these crass comments from a grown man to be funny/folksy?

Thanks for this, but even if he tracked Voight, he didn’t dig up the remains himself (and they certainly can’t prove he did) so . . .
I’m with you; no Voight, no show.

Someone remind me: what crime has Halstead committed? Other than knowing what went down with Voight, Felony Barbie and Roy (which I still think was a justified shooting since the perp was going for his gun). Because knowing isn’t a crime. He might lose his job for not reporting what he knows, but what does the FBI have on him??? Maybe I’m forgetting something so please correct me if I’m wrong. Because otherwise, this whole storyline is hurting my head. 🙄

Forget Sunny’s reading of the legal notes; Whoopi can’t seem to read the introduction to ANY topic lately without laughing, trying to suppress laughter or bungling a name or other word. It’s not cute or funny when it happens every damn day. Just read the teleprompter and introduce the topic. And I know she has reading issues; but then they should find a workaround. She’s paid millions of dollars to do this - 4 days a week. 🙄

Why do they even pretend to write episodes for Atwater? It’s always the same shit/different day. Black cop bad. Love interest disappointed with/disgusted by him for doing his job. And then we never see her again. Dude should resign and head to Fire or Med; maybe they can find a plot for him that lasts more than ONE episode 🙄.

S09.E14: Blood Relation
in Chicago PD
Oh brother. The uncle and his wife should have won custody, with Kim and Adam allowed generous visitation. And no way they're behind the kidnapping. What. A. Stupid. Plot. Unless, as said upthread, the jailed father is behind it . . .
