  1. I hope that Glassman being mad at Shaun won’t end up being part of the season cliffhanger, but I suspect that it will. I understand his reaction to possibly having his job stripped away, but Shaun did the right thing telling Lim. I thought the Morgan scenes with Eden were meant to show the realities of raising a baby.
  2. That is one thing that’s honestly bothered me. I guess you should never underestimate the effect of what a parent who shows favoritism to your brother can really do. But Robert is tall, muscular, handsome and a police lieutenant. And he’s charming when Ray doesn’t influence his behavior. You’d think he’d have all the confidence in the world with women. I enjoyed the Italy episodes. Frank and Marie were enjoying the moment and appreciating the experience, and so were the rest of the family minus Ray who was negative about it until he had that pizza, then decides to enjoy himself too. That was a bit of a ridiculous reason, but my very favorite part of the episode was a lesson that everyone should use for their life, at the end when Colletta told Ray to live his life because her late husband had a similar outlook on life to Ray. Robert’s being hung-up on Debra is cringy, especially after he’s married to Amy. I also don’t like how Robert flip-flops his opinion because of what Debra thinks. He did it in the Frank stole the football episode, and the episode where Pat had to kill the bird. One episode I’ve never liked is The Janitor. Ray made a harmless comment about the janitor being paid to pick stuff up, BEFORE he found out that the kid’s father was a janitor. But the family (mainly Debra and Marie) pile on to him and acts like they would have handled it so much better. The rest of the episode proved they were even more “insensitive” than Ray.
  3. I do think Jared is trying too hard to get the doctors that he just met to like him. He needs to just be himself instead of spending money on parties to try to impress them. I’m glad Glassman agreed to the scan after Shaun stopped pushing and just said why he wanted him to do it.
  4. I was wondering what would happen if Andrews did that, too. It worked for Johnny when he taped back together his stepfather’s check that he’d earlier ripped, on Cobra Kai (which got mentioned in this episode by Daniel, which was also the name of Johnny’s rival in that show; I’m sure it was completely coincidental. Lol). But I knew he probably wouldn’t be happy about Jared deciding to leave his employment. About the new car, my only question was whether or not Lea kept her original. Nice to see Jared back, and if he’s going to return, Shaun is no longer the only resident left from the pilot. Seeing the preview for the backdoor Good Lawyer pilot makes me realize it’s been longer than it feels since The Good Doctor premiered.
  5. That sucks, especially since we already had to wait two weeks for this episode. You’d think they could air it during the later night hours so it wouldn’t bump TV show episodes.
  6. I kinda wanted to see this show continue but I think it’s for the best that it did cancel. At most, I think it would have only had one more good season of the potential that it did have.
  7. From Shaun’s point of view, he went to great effort coming up with the solution that he did, studied extensively on it, and even thought over details over and over to perfect them in his mind. He doesn’t know of Lim’s doubts or fears, or that she had a conversation with Danica (?). So he just thinks they are dismissing him. Lim and Glassman’s frustration with Shaun may be something they have thought for a while but is only now coming to a head. I decided to rewatch a few episodes from Season 3 a couple days ago, one I remember watching was 45 Degree Angle, the episode where Shaun freaked out on Nurse Hawks for not handing him his clamp correctly. I said at the time, and still maintain that her earlier comments about his relationship in the episode factored into it. But when Lim tells him to apologize to her, he doesn’t think he has done anything wrong and never even considers that, which is pretty much the same attitude he has regarding Lim’s surgery/paralysis.
  8. Seems too much of a coincidence that Jessica is Amanda’s cousin, but if you look at it from the point of view that Daniel met Jessica in 1985 and they kept their friendship for years, then Jessica introduced Daniel to Amanda, it makes more sense. After all: “By the time I put you in touch with Daniel, he was way past that (what Silver did to him in ‘85).” Amanda was right that Daniel didn’t resolve his PTSD from that though, it just remained dormant.
  9. He definitely deserved to lose Cobra Kai, but as a character in general, I think Terry is just VERY entertaining. One of my favorite characters, if I’m being honest.
  10. When Shaun wanted half of the storage room for his office, Andrews was describing it as the worst possible situation you could have for an office, AND that he would be kicked out if someone happened to need the room, yet Shaun was all “That’s perfect, I don’t need all the distractions that come with sharing a space.” Couldn’t help but laugh at that. Given Shaun’s track record, I don’t doubt that he has a good solution for Lim. Only thing is, I fear he might be due for a string of negative outcomes after having mostly positive ones for 5 seasons.
  11. Had Shaun not went on at the end to Lim about his marriage, I was curious what she was going to say to him about losing his author patient. Hated that she died by the way, I liked her interaction with the doctors.
  12. Being on the realistic side, the only reason Shaun isn’t in any trouble yet is because of his rapport with the hospital. And it’s also realistic for Lim to hate her circumstances; I just hope she doesn’t go on blaming Shaun and hate him all season, especially since she was attending his wedding when she was attacked. I honestly think she’s just blaming him because she knows she inserted herself into Villeneuva’s life, so she knows she only has herself to blame there.
  13. Daniel should have set aside the rivalry just for the charity event, for Amanda’s sake. But I suppose it’s Cobra Kai, where problems are solved with martial arts. 😛 ”You’re only the champ because Diaz got hurt.” At least Hawk won without his sensei paying off the ref, unlike Cobra Kai. In all fairness, I think Tory could have beat Sam without that because she’d have fought differently. But nobody except Tory and Terry know that at this point.
  14. I thought that myself for a brief second before they showed the scene with Mike’s business on fire. I thought maybe Mike gave Daniel the number to Terry’s phone. Looks like Mike Barnes did what Johnny, Kreese and Silver all couldn’t. Move past Cobra Kai and thrive in life. Silver was on the perfect path to doing so before Kreese brought him back in last season (and Terry agreed due to his insane pull to Kreese for saving his life).
  15. Man, that was really lucky how Miguel found out his father’s true nature without his father finding out who he was. Even luckier that Johnny showed up immediately afterwards and he was able to jet out of there. As for how Miyagi approached Cobra Kai in the movies, he only did so if they were going after Daniel but left them alone otherwise. Daniel just goes after them nonstop.
