Personality wise, I think she is worse than Penny. Penny didn't seem emotionally abusive to her family, just bossy and defiant with her weight loss instructions. She also doted on her son. I think Kirsten may have some sort of learning disabilities too. There's something "off" about her.

I'm no psychologist but I really believe her personality disorder will guarantee her failure in weight loss & maintenance. She may eat less but she'll still eat forbidden foods

I never thought this show would ever find someone even more unlikeable than Penny. She's even more hopeless too.
