For the Laurel visitor center, I was surprised that they didn't seem to have a picture of Ben & Erin up with all of the other famous people from Laurel, given that most visitors these days probably know Laurel from the show. But towards the very end, when people were mingling in the center, there was a brief glimpse of a picture of them along with the other famous people. They just decided not to feature it for some reason. I'd guess it was Erin & Ben's decision not to.

I think these MLM trips are rarely free. So, it won't say that they've "won" a spot on the Leaders Retreat cruise, because you have to pay to be able to go. Just speculating, but since Plexus bought out the whole cruise ship, I'm sure they got a hefty discount from what a person would pay for a cruise. So Plexus, can charge the people who go at their cost, make it seem like they "won" something, but really the cruise doesn't cost Plexus much, if anything.

I have to say Celebrity is a step up as a cruise line. Cruise lines are broken into 3 categories and Celebrity is considered Premium: Mainstream - Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian; Premium - Celebrity, Princess and Holland America; Luxury - Seabourne, Crystal, Silverseas. I wouldn't turn down a Celebrity cruise but then I don't mind traveling with a bunch of other sinful heathens.

Aurora can't even decide to get her ears pierced without having long conversations with Robyn & Kody about it. Kody said he appreciates how Aurora honors his role as head of the family. What I see is an unhealthy co-dependency between an adult Aurora and her parents. Kody inadvertantly told a truth talking about ear piercing and said, "Robyn started My Sister Wives closet". We always knew that was Robyn's baby, not something they all wanted to do as a group.

I don't understand how this could happen. Surely, God was looking over their RV as they went about their important ministry.

Even if what she wrote is true, why is she bragging about not making a profit from their print shop? They have a lot of kids to support, the responsible thing to do would be to run a business that actually supports them.

I liked Cottage on a Cliff, but I don't understand the need to have a master suite in a cabin. If only one person per bed were staying in the other bedrooms (not including the sofa bed), that would be 7 people sharing the other bathroom. I think it would be much more practical to have two bathrooms that everyone shares.

I love the show, but you can't mistake it for an Aaron Sorkin drama.

That's what I came here to say too. I didn't realize until they did the whole house tour that there was only one main floor bedroom. For houses of that size, and appraised close to $3M, to have only one main floor bedroom is crazy! I'd expect a minimum of 3. I'd guess that's why Michel and Anthony won, because they added a main floor bedroom with ensuite. For all the commentary and discussion Jasmine, Egypt and Mike had did they have any say in who the winner was, or was it strickly based upon the appraised value?

I like to tour Parade of Homes houses in a pricy suburb outside the city I live in. I couldn't afford the houses, but just for fun. A second kitchen, or scullery, is pretty standard in the houses I see. It's like they've made an oversized pantry, then add a sink, dishwasher, often second fridge, and the microwave or a second oven. So, I think those that added the second kitchen are on-point for what luxury buyers want right now. I'm surprised that Kristina didn't put a second dishwasher in their scullery. That's pretty standard. I'm also seeing more kitchen islands with rounded corners like Kristina did. So, I agree with Kristina & Jon being the winners, I think they did what buyers of houses in that price range are looking for right now. I only disagreed with them moving the access to the powder room from the front entry to the mudroom. Do you really want guests going into your messy mudroom? I think Sarah is still stuck in the pre-pandemic, everything open trend. An open breakfast room ten steps from the dining room is just dumb. I also think double islands are already on the way out, it turns the kitchen into a maze. Not a fan of the wine storage Paige and her partner did. Storing wine in the bright sunlight is not a good idea, and I can see an accident happening with kids bumping into it. I also thought the cabinets that Anthony and his partner did up so high that they were unreachable looked dumb.

I didn't love that the kitchen had no windows. That would bug me if it were my house.

Keri Rowell addresses the lack of elevator in the website for Buzzard's Roost: "As a business, and as humans, we never want anyone to feel forgotten or intentionally excluded. We know that not everyone that might want to stay with us can climb stairs with luggage. Our decision to not add an elevator was not taken lightly. Our building is over 100 years old, and so old we don't even know when it was built! Because of that, the infrastructure could not take a new elevator shaft. We would likely have to build it outside in the uneven back alley, and at this time it's not financially possible. (There is also no parking out there and would require a lot of walking on uneven ground to reach the elevator.) Hopefully in the coming years, we can add some more accommodations to improve accessibility in the Inn. Regarding compliancy, here is the code: § 36.404 Alterations: Elevator exemption. I watched the reveal last night and, I have to say, I think they did a spectacular job of renovating the castle. They made it very livable for a family while maintaining as much of the original character as possible. I had to laugh at the "butler's pantry" because it was basically a second kitchen, the only thing it was missing was a cooktop. If I lived there it would be my baking room. The only choice I really disagreed with was the shower in the upstairs hall bath which was in the standalone tub. If kids use that as a shower there's going to be water everywhere all the time.
