  1. Well this is interesting news. I’d be lying if I said I would miss her. This is a great opportunity to retool the show. I won’t miss the who/what/why of Keen. It just dragged down the whole show. We watch for Spader.

Sounds like Red faked Katarina's death to help her go back into hiding again, pretty much what I thought a few weeks ago. What I don't understand is why, when they met in Europe last season, she chained him up, tortured him and tried to drain all his blood.

    Twoo Wove???

  3. This is the episode that made me fall in love with this show. Jean Smart is great. Love the idea that Deborah had to  circle back to her comedy origins to rediscover herself and hopefully save herself.

  4. This show has reached the point where I am at a loss for snark. Make the super marvellous amazing agent Lizzie be LMNOP 13, lock her up and leave the rest of us to watch the show without her super marvellous amazing talent to gum up the works.

  6. Fell asleep about halfway through so I didn’t have the pleasure to watch to the conclusion, such that it was judging by your comments.

Lizzie seeing Mr. Kaplan prompted the idea that she has gone off her rocker. And as happy as I was to see Mr. Kaplan, it felt like contrived story telling, but what else is new with this show. As an aside, there was a now deceased relative who was seeing and hearing things such as cats and Jesus, and after being hospitalized was diagnosed with late onset schizophrenia. Perhaps this is where Lizzie will end up?

That's a big SKIP from me. I don't want to see EK ... make that AGENT EK ... ever again.

A retrospective of She who shall not be named. And that’s why it’s titled Misere. Watch at your own risk. You have been warned.

in response to a request for more info on colonoscopy prep products that are easier to ingest:

The really short answer is Clenpiq. That is what I last had in early 2020 (right before the pandemic shut down).
Prepopik was better because it was unflavored, but both are thin and watery, and a lot less volume than the default prep prescribed by doctors and others in their offices (maybe as well as the Mirilax + Gatorade combo?).

However, I now see an "ad" for SuTab, which does not seem to have any flavoring: https://sutab.com/media/SUTAB-FPI-Med-Leaflet_2020-11-12_2.pdf

I wound up with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2016 primarily because my doctors in 2011 said if I couldn't swallow any of the glop without gagging, I couldn't have the colonoscopy.

Note: while in the hospital recovering from 6 hours of surgery and several more hours in the recovery room, I watched endless commercials (interrupting my reruns of Law & Order) for Cologuard, which allows you to send a bit of your poop out for testing (if you've never had a questionable colonoscopy).

In late 2019 when I scheduled my 2nd post-colon cancer colonoscopy, I explained at length that I couldn't have the standard prep and needed Prepopik, but it had been discontinued, so the person in the office just ordered the usual stuff. When I tried taking it and couldn't, I had to drive at 8pm to a CVS 10 miles away where the phamacist was able to figure out what had replaced Prepopik and get me Clenpiq.
A pharmacist is a great person to ask for more information!

I was just going to mention Cologard, which I’ve seen advertised on TV often. Locally (eastern Canada) the Fit test is prescribed. Very similar to Cologard but I believe each one “tests” different parts of the colon or intestine or whatever. My DH went through at least 6 colonoscopies in the early 2000’s but now it’s the Fit test.  The first time I saw “Fit test” on the order for blood work, etc., I thought I would have to get on a treadmill. The nurse laughed.

  9. Tuned into this for 3 reasons:  Dean Norris, it’s a Chuck Lorre show, and Dean Norris. Both last week and this, shut it halfway through. Just can’t stand the writing and the stilted performances of said writing (except of course for Dean Norris 😏). [I’ve been a fan of his since he played Hank in BB.] I’ll cut a show some slack until it finds its legs, but I’m not sure about this one (even if it does feature Dean Norris 🙂).

The best thing was the Bob Odenkirk cameo.

My thought exactly. This show could carry on, but without Christy the show just doesn’t work right. I’ll always wonder what caused Anna Faris to leave in the middle of a 2 year contract.

That is so crazy, after he was brought back because of fan outrage of him being written off.

Why, oh why do they do this? He fits in to the history and is easy to watch unlike at least one other character who gets on my nerves and caused me to stop watching.
Checked on the show the other day because I was all caught up on the one I watch. Saw the Ch and Ch scenes which I found amusing particularly because it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that this is all going to blow up.

I don’t know if I will check back in but thanks for letting me put my 2 cents in.

  12. In Canada it's showing on Showcase after episodes of Pennyworth, buried on Sun. night at around 10:30 pm. The not so favourable time slot suggests that TPTB at Showcase don't think much of the show. I, on the other hand being just a TV watching peon, love it and am glad to hear it was renewed on Peacock (N/A Canada) for season 4. I hope it is picked up in Canada because I will watch.

If Lizzie is indeed written out of this show, then I'm in for 10 more seasons of Spader as Red doing what he does best ... acting up a storm and making a show great. Lizzie comes back, and eh, even one more season is too much for me.

I agree but wanted to add with no Lizzie, the snark factor drops precipitously. Oh, to wonder, what then would I look forward to on Saturday morning in these days of isolation??

  14. I’m a couple days behind but I just want to say that I’m really enjoying DOOL these days, even with the retread of the missing babies. I find the acting better than usual. They seem to be putting a lot into their roles. And, Cady McClain makes me believe in Jennifer whereas I always felt that MR was like overcooked pasta—it’s there but you don’t really want it. Also, Tamara Braun and Mike Manning are superb. That is all.
