  1. She's said she's white about a dozen times but Sanvers stans will insist she's not white. She's a racist thief whose career consists of stealing roles from women of colour, hell she boasts about it. Just like Chyler Leigh boasts about asking her bosses to hire her. They are both racist on a very very racist show with a very very racist cast and crew. I mean a black love interest is dropped and replaced by the white leads white boyfriend, for the second time in her very short career. The writers room is almost completely white and have given racist reasons for racist storylines, I mean MonEl is a slave owner, sorry 'former' slave owner. I need to to stop now or you'll get a full essay on their misogyny, homophobia and ableism too, and why it's particularly offensive coming from this show. It's not a good look that only people of colour lost through it though. Caitlin only gained.
  2. There are tables at the back of the report. There's one with numbers who auditioned on each network compared with those hired, and another with those hired. There are also those tables for cable/streaming.
  3. I keep forgetting they did that, and every time it's brought up I'm still, WTF?? What was the point?
  4. I'm no Arrowverse officianado but wouldn't it be weird if it's anyone but Olicity. I know they've established relationships over the various shows, but one of the very few believable relationships for me was always Diggle's friendship with both Oliver and Felicity, wasn't Oliver his best man? Why would it be Diggle if it's not Olicity. Sanvers getting married will give them their white feminist lesbian cookies.

  6. https://issuu.com/rudermanfoundation/docs/tv_challenge_auditioning___casting_/1?ff=true This is the report here. It does say those were the castings they were able to verify, but I'm not sure how they gathered the information.
  7. With all due respect that's incredibly disrespectful to disabled people. Disputes Hollywood's belief to the contrary we're not something you can pretend to be. It will always be an impersonation, an for me impersonation implies mockery. Ableds always think that other ableds portray disability well but I've never seen it. Give me Micah Fowler over Daniel Day Lewis any day. FYI, we don't cope with disability, we are disabled, we cope with rampant ableism. I'd rather we never had those disability sub-plots. Actually I'd rather no-one in television ever did a disability sub-plot ever again, they are always terrible. Not only should these shows be casting disabled actors, but on about half a dozen occasions they've used a comics character who had a disability and completely erased it. It's like they have these opportunities served on a plate to integrate disability. But I suspect both the show runners and the network think disability is bad thing and don't want to touch it. I mean ZERO disabled actors, even Fox. had one. Btw, CBS win with 11.
  8. Thought this might be of interest. The Ruderman Family Foundation did an annual survey of disabled actors cast on television. The CW cast 0 (zero) disabled actors. Over all Berlanti shows on different networks still a big 0. When off the top of my head, Grant Gustin, Emily Bett Rickards, and Tom Cavanagh have all had to pretend to be disabled for character arcs, it really does seem like these show runners really do think disability is nothing more than a costume.
  9. See edit. I adore Magnus Bane, he never makes me think of Mike Chang any more than he makes me think of Paul Wong or Wei Fang.
  10. Who from the original cast of Glee was in Quantico or Supergirl, I dropped both after season one so may have missed them. I don't remember anyone from Glee in Shadowhunters. I almost forgot McHale was in When We Rise, but I watch it again today. He literally flirts, gets laid, gets sick, dies. EDIT: I just remembered Harry Shum jr was in Glee. I doubt he was worried about more talented or better looking men because on Glee there was no such thing. I think I've watched him in so much since then I kind of forgot about him being in Glee. Also he's so different in every role he's not the type of actor that you think of other roles while watching him.
  11. You should read the blind items, allegedly they were fired after some of the originals demanded it. Doesn't take a genius to figure out who was threatened by younger, more handsome and more talented men coming through. Probably explains why no-one but Ryan Murphy has hired them since. Melissa was probably let go to do Supergirl, I mean if they were changing storylines for her she must've been well liked.
  12. I remember it as the dry run for Supergirl allegedly having producers end her on screen relationship with a black man and replace him with her off screen white boyfriend. Or is that blind item not true. Seems a weird coincidence either way.
  13. Damn. Now her I would believe kicking the crap out of anybody, and her hair is tied back *swoons*
  14. I'm not talking about her abs, I'm talking about her arms, particularly her upper arms and shoulders. Sara should have chunky arms and muscular shoulders. To be fair the criticisms I have of Caity apply to most female action stars. And I don't think it's their fault. I think Caity would totally bulk up like that for a role, I think she's also aware if she did bulk up Sara would have another misfortunate meeting with an Arrow. (wait can Sara die?) Btw, she does look amazing.
