  1. Interesting that it's all snowy and wintery in Kiev (where Oleg and Ivar are), and somehow in Kattagat (presumably somewhere in Norway), which is something like 1500 km to the north, it's much more pleasant, and even appears to be summer, at least by Scandinavian standards (not cold, no snow, etc.). I wonder if we are supposed to think it's different timelines, or if it was merely an oversight
  2. I don't know if anyone noticed that, but right before Ethel tripped the wire, as she and Emily got off the bench, Peter acted like he was getting some sort of static or interference in his earpiece. I wonder if that had anything to do with Ethel apparent change of heart.
  3. I'm a millennial myself; these mutliple responses to and complaints about your original post greatly exemplify (MOST) millennials and their mindsets: easily offended, and quick to find something wrong with any little thing that is not structured perfectly as we expected and feel entitled to. I'm sure if this was a baby boomer taking a crack at GenX, most GenX'er would have simply ignored, or may be retored with some wisecrack about how/why baby boomers suck. Us millennials, NOPE; just complain and demand fixing such grave injustice as innocent crack. We are truly such entitled, snow floke babies. OK, political venting is now OVER. Back to the show: these last few episodes have been great, and have helped me understand and appreciate the earlier episodes much more. I keep hearing that this show may be canceled; I hope not, but if it does get canceled, as long as the last episode does not end with some cliffhanger, I would happy with the way it progressed these two seasons. I am amazed at the quality of acting many of these actors are demanstrating, especially JK Simmons, Olivia Williams, and Harry Lloyd (and particularly in how they play their alpha and prime characters).
  4. The issue is not how the profile card got to the daughter; it is the fact MiB did not even know it was gone/taken (otherwise he wouldn’t quickly dismiss her saying she has it, regardless of how she got it). This is clearly illustrated in him getting unsettled when he saw the card in her hand. I’m not even debating whether she’s human or host. All I’m saying is that it is not believable that he’s value his profile card so much, yet (seemingly) check for it in over a year since the wife’s death
  5. Soooooo.... MiB thinks so much of his WW profile as to decide based on it that his daughter is a host (and thus kills her), yet he seemingly never checked or looked for it since the death of his wife, or else he would have realized it was gone. That is a huge sell
  6. Audrey is self righteous b**ch... such a typical TV show, when a guy cheats he’s a selfish a**hole who can’t keep it in his pants, when a woman cheats, she’s hurt, unloved, unappreciated, blah, blah, blah. as the saying goes, two wrongs don’t make a right. Greg is an a**hole for doing what he did, but that doesn’t justify Audrey cheating (unless the marriage is over) no matter how much this stupid show tries to masquerade this cheating as something deeper. at any rate, this show sucks; I’m only watching to see what this 1111 and the connection between Ramon (selfish brat) and Farid
  7. I don't even know why I watch this show; maybe it's because it's the HBO lull period, maybe it's because I'm just curious about the 11:11 and the connection between Ramon and Farid, because otherwise, I find most of the show nauseating, for many reasons. The biggest reason (and I'd like to establish that I'm not white) is because of it's overly anti-white tone, exemplified especially by just about everything Kristen says (and by her herself). Coming from a region that suffered a lot from European colonialism, and still suffers from the effects of that as well as postcolonial (indirect and direct) actions by the West, I totally understand and buy into European/American evil doing, mainly because of the "white man." But to simply deny and ridicule any notion of unique "culture" and positive deeds is laughable. When the white kids wanted to start their club, I thought "yeah, I totally understand and would be fine with it" I mean is being Colombian or Liberian or Vietnamese really that much more "special" than being American. Each of these countries have their own dark history, whether in terms of what they did internally and/or to other groups around them (by the way, am the only one who rolls his/her eyes whenever Duc comes on screen and I'm supposed to believe that he is Vietnamese; I mean can they not have found someone who is actually Vietnamese to play the character, or at least make him of Chinese or Korean backgrounds, as he actually looks?!). I'm just sick of this show and other shows pushing the agenda that only the "white man" did/does evil. Every race, creed, ethnic or religious group has many skeletons in its closets, and if you dig enough in history you'd find many instances when just about any group, when given a chance, did just much evil. Can't we just condemn evil, prejudice, and racist people regardless of what they are and what the targets of their hatred and evil are? P.S., for those reasons, I found Farid's comments to the Imam refreshing (though he did push a bit too far). I am from the ME, and I know how much we get screwed by international politics (especially because of the oil under our lands), but I'm also sick of people acting like we don't have big issues in our religions and culture. It is far too convenient to blame others than to acknowledge the issues one has and try to fix/correct them.
  8. For those questioning Sara being left out, aside from the fact that it was the norm back then to make such assumptions about women, do you really think Sara could’ve done much to help chasing or catching the killer with the clothes she’s wearing?!!
  9. I also LOL'ed real hard at the bit about people never deleting apps and then the team individually going through their phones and finding all those silly apps
  10. I think Jack was planning/hoping to use Keenan's VR instead of Box 2. He just wanted to have something to excite the croweds at HooliCon
  11. I think it makes sense that she's imaginary; I believe she wore the same exact dress and looked the same all three times she interested with him, which spans multiple days.
  12. It may not be illegal, but it would look very bad because it would appear to all others that Chuck used Wendy to protect their family against the anticipated (huge) loss, by ensuring that they offset the loss with the profits from the short, while throwing the other investors under the bus.
  13. Maybe because this time Axe appeared to be on the run and trying to escape whereas last time they were going after physical objects in the office?! regarding the going to see Wendy when he knew/thought he's going to prison, Axe knew he would be out in few hours so it's not like he wasn't going to see Lana for lon time. He did need to make sure, however, that things are ready at the office, and part of that was making sure Wendy is on board since he believes she's so crucial to the success of the firm (I don't see it myself; nothing she said has resonated with me as being some mind blowingly insightful or inspiring)
  14. I find it very unrealistic and quite laughable that someone as smart as Axe would be so directly involved in the implementation of the operation as to be caught in the way he did. Did he really need to personally deal with the doctor, or be involved in recruiting those who will take the contaminated juice?! Come on!! His special guy (Iceland) could've handled all that giving Axe plausible deniability. I know the writers tried to sell it by showing him "spiraling" leading to this operation but still, someone like him will NEVER directly get involved in such criminal conduct. The writers only got him involved because they needed him to get busted.
  15. I'm guessing that the real version of teddy's memory is Wyett = Dolores and "the General" = Arnold
