  1. I liked the cellphone storyline. I kind of wish the episode focused on that more. But the ending is a good analogy for how much society in the real world has become dependent on cellphones. These kids should have seen the days before cellphones.
  2. Yes, I know that. I am a gamer, after all. But it still seemed intentional because of Slater.
  3. True. I was more referring to Zack from the original series than here. I guess that's what you get when you hire the guy who did the Zack Morris is Trash YouTube series as a co-writer here.
  4. Has anyone been watching The Astronauts? It just started earlier this month, and I'm liking it so far. And Hunter Street is coming back for a 4th season next year, which I'm looking forward to.
  5. That argument Darlene and Becky had at the end was brutal. I wonder where that will go in the next episode. Also, I think Jackie made the right choice in not hooking up with Louise's brother when he asked her to. I mean, they barely even knew each other.
  6. Mac is no Zack though. Zack had a charm to him, and with Mac, I don't really see that so far. Of the new characters, my favorite is probably Mr. Toddman, to be honest. He was probably the best replacement for Mr. Belding you could ask for.
  7. That Dr. Mario joke was great, because Slater is played by someone named Mario. Yeah, that was the highlight of the episode for me.
  8. Yeah, I don't see the issue either. Besides, there's plenty of other channels that have old western shows in their schedule. With classic cartoons, all there is, is Boomerang, and even that doesn't have as many classic cartoons as before. It does have Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, The Smurfs and Garfield & Friends, but that's really it. And in the case of Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry, they only show a small selection of shorts on Boomerang, so maybe MeTV will show more of them.
  9. Three's Company is coming to IFC on the 27th. Will anyone be tuning in? I plan to watch at least a few episodes that day. Granted, I already have the complete series boxset that I can watch any time, but I like to show some support for the TV airings as well.
  10. Ghost Train of Ely was one of the best episodes in a while. Investigating on a train is something you don't see often in these ghost hunting shows. It was a great way to start the new season. It was also better than the Joe Exotic episode, which I found a little lackluster, compared to past Halloween specials. In fact, I already forgot most of what happened in that episode. Even the four-part Quarantine special earlier this year was better.
  11. Yeah, it was probably for the best that Darlene testing positive for pregnancy was a false positive. Becky having a baby is good enough.
  12. MeTV is getting a Saturday Morning Cartoons block in January: https://tvnewscheck.com/article/254776/metv-launching-toon-in-with-me-hosted-morning-cartoon-show-in-2021/ I guess adding The Flintstones to the schedule last year really paid off. I can't wait.
  13. I've only watched this episode so far, as it's free to watch, even without the free trial. I'll get the free trial at some point to check out the rest. But I'm not feeling it much so far. It was good to see Zack, Slater, Kelly and Jessie again, and how they've grown since the original show, and having Slater as a gym coach is an interesting concept. However, Bayside feels a bit crowded now with all these students having to transfer there, and the absence of a laugh track made it feel really off. Some sitcoms work better without a laugh track than others, but the Saved by the Bell reboot isn't one of them. The main student, Daisy, felt a bit bland too. Also, that new theme song is horrible. So overall, this episode didn't give me a good first impression of the show. But I will check out more episodes at some point.
  14. I've been wondering the same thing. MeTV doesn't air Season 1 either, for that matter. Season 1 is actually Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which did used to air TBS, and it still seems to be part of the syndication package, going by Peacock and everything, so I have no idea.
  15. I seen that too. Also, that would have been the first episode since Nick left, and they didn't even mention that. It seems that they want to forget that Nick was ever on the show. Also, I think the Island of the Dolls is one place that could do with a second investigation.
  16. I really could see where Becky's boyfriend was coming from. The family is a bit too crazy over sports. I don't blame him that his first impressions is that they are toxic, and to be honest, they sometimes can be. as shown here I think Becky's response to him telling her that was unreasonable too.
  17. Great episode. Probably one of my favorites in the series so far. It proves a good point too, as some places do make too big of a fuss over dress codes. Like there's a reason it exists, but it doesn't (and shouldn't) need to be so strict that everyone dresses the same. Also, I liked Lainey's tube top and flip-flops she was wearing in this episode. That should become her regular attire.
  18. I don't think Darlene should have been arrested. She was only trying to look after Harris. So what if she was yelling for her on the streets? If your kid is ignoring you, and you have no other way of reaching them, chances are, you would do the same thing.
  19. You know, whenever I see Louise, I think of Peggy Bundy from Married With Children, which used to be one of my favorite sitcoms. Even without the bouffant, you can tell its Katey Sagal. But yeah, they seem to make a good couple.
  20. The competition between them was pretty funny. Still, I liked in the end when they finally make amends. The episode had a quite a heartwarming ending, as should a Thanksgiving episode.
  21. Becky moving out like that reminds me of when my little sister moved out. Granted, she came back after a couple months. So, if you think about it, Dan and Darlene are the only original people left still living in the house.
  22. I've finally been watching more of Season 2. "Moonvasion" was a great episode. I liked the whole concept of Earth being in danger, and all the characters, whether friends or enemies, teaming up to save it.
  23. I noticed a bit of retool this season. In the first season, Zachary would investigate these mysteries in person. Here, he just discusses them. Has anyone else noticed that? I feel they should have a balance of both.
  24. I agree. Nothing about this episode stood out too much. I also felt that Mellor was pretty unlikable here. He even broke the handle of Glascott's coffee glass. They made up at the end, but still.
  25. I'm looking forward to the 2 hour special tonight. I wonder was it that Zak wa talking about the best evidence they ever caught. The show has provided some very compelling evidence in the past, so I'm interested to see what this will be all about.
