  1. I know it's not an over-the-air network, but does anyone here watch Boomerang? After many years of network decay (for a while, Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry were basically the only pre-late 90's cartoons they would show), the channel now lives up to its original premise again, since about a few months ago. They have various incarnations of Scooby-Doo and Yogi Bear, Top Cat and not only the Flintstones, but even Flintstones Kids too. Just recently, they started airing Tas-Mania, for the first time ever.

Anyone into classic cartoons should tune in before it goes into another network decay. If you get the channel that is, since the majority of households don't seem to get Boomerang these days.

  2. This one of the funniest game shows I've seen. Does anyone else like it when the contestants guess the same answer multiple times? Sometimes, they even add the word "again," acknowledging they've already guessed that.

  3. 2024 marks my 10th year of watching Ghost Adventures. Yeah, when I started, Nick was just leaving the show. He had like three or four episodes left.

Though, I haven't watched the show much in like the past three years. The show just isn't as good as it used to be. Even though I was just getting into the show at that point, it seems that Nick leaving was the beginning of the end for the show. I miss the days when they didn't have a full camera crew, they actually traveled outside the states that surround Nevada, and all that stuff. Now, it's just another ghost show. It felt more unique before.

Dakota says the Road Trip is over, but the season isn't. I smell Zak Bagans's paws on this.

Reasons why Chelsea is my favorite: she doesn't take crap from the guys, she's a hockey goalie badass, and in November she will officially become an optometrist. Good for her for keeping things in perspective and not climbing all the way onto the cable-show-fame bandwagon. It seems like she's having fun, has probably earned enough to pay off or significantly down student loans, and has a non-tv career waiting for her when the show is done.

I like all four of them, really. But yeah, Chelsea is probably my favorite too, followed by Alex, whom is now finally credited in the intro.

I look forward to seeing the episodes in Ireland too.

  5. Interesting. So it looks like the Ghost Adventures Top 10 episodes are airing on the Travel channel now, after being Discover+ exclusives for several months. I wonder if the latest Ghost Adventures episodes will follow.

Ghost Adventures is pretty much the only reason I even have Discovery+ anymore. If these episodes air on TV, I'm probably cancelling my subscription, at least for the time being.

  6. It's about time. I was starting to think that special would never actually air on TV.

I wonder if the special is just a one-off, or if it'll turn into a new series.

I'll be sure to catch at least a couple episodes in the marathon too.

  7. It's sad to see a Saved by the Bell star die this young. It makes me wonder how they'll handle Screech in Season 2 of this show. Either he'll just never be mentioned, or the character would be killed off.

They were playing another marathon of the original series on E! last weekend for three days in memory of him (they had just done the last marathon in December)

  8. I just watched the special. It was nice to see the team back together again. Although, Ranae was barely in it, and Bobo being so skinny now is just disturbing.  Beyond that, it really just felt like a regular episode.

I wonder if Finding Bigfoot is coming back as a regular show, or if this was just a one-off reunion special.

  9. I wonder if we'll see Mr. Belding at all. Screech is still unlikely, even more so now that Dustin Diamond has been diagnosed with cancer. I also wouldn't mind seeing Tori (whom Zack previously referenced). It would be funny to see her meet Kelly and Jessie for the first time.

  10. The Travel Channel could also merely be rebranding. Recently, Bizarre Food and Hotel Impossible have aired again on it. It's the first time they had any shows on there that didn't have anything to do with the paranormal or mysteries since 2018, when the last rebrand happened

It seems like the only shows still having new episodes on it are World's Most Unexplained and Paranormal Declassified.

I thought this episode was better than last week's. Many of the jokes were more clever and I was shocked our main couple actually kissed 😮 .

I agree. The previous episode was pretty forgettable, but this one was enjoyable. I liked the cat scenes too.

Their weekday morning cartoon hour with Toony the Tuna is awful.  It is strange, I assume it is geared for young children, but all of the commercials I keep getting during that hour are geared for people who want to reduce the massive bags under their eyes.  In other words, people that are well beyond childbearing age.

Yeah, I don't even bother with the Toony the Tuna segments. I'm just there for the cartoons.

  13. Yeah, they are really pushing this Discovery+ thing. The only way I'm getting that is if Spectrum users can get that for free, much like you can with HBO Max.

I don't know why they can't just simulcast new episodes on both Travel Channel and Discovery+, so people who only have one or the other can see them.

  14. I never heard of this show until like a week or so ago (and never seen Miranda, the UK show this is based on). Then I seen a commercial on it, and thought I would give it a watch. I thought Kat herself was pretty funny here, particularly when she kept accidentally kicking other people in the face. I've definitely seen worse.

That said, cats were barely shown in this episode. I hope future episodes can change that. I see most here were disappointed. Having just heard of the show, I came in not expecting much. After Mayim Bialik played Amy in The Big Bang Theory for so long, it's kind of weird to see her as someone else now. I'll definitely check out at least the new few episodes. I can see the potential here.

    Cecil House? 🤔

Jay used to be married? I must have missed that!

Didn't it turn out that the guys who replaced Nick were already on the crew, but behind the scenes?

Yes. Billy and Jay were already part of GAC, and appeared on the show sometimes. After Nick left, they were promoted to main investigators.

Why are there new Expedition X episodes and no new Expedition Unknown episodes?  I enjoy Josh Gates Tonight, but I'm missing the real show!  I assume international travel is still a problem but aren't there any US based things Josh could investigate safely?  I know I'm being selfish, with Covid still rampaging all over the place.  😢  I'll slink away now...

There has been new Expedition X episodes lately, actually. There was one just earlier this week. It covered the Jersey Devil, and it was a very interesting episode.

First off, there is absolutely no reason for Disney to cancel DuckTales.  None.  Another great show being canceled for no reason.

The Christmas episode was great and I loved the reveal of Scrooge being Scrooge with the gifts.  DuckTales always delivers with episodes like this.

I agree. This show is too good to have this short of a run. It should have had 5 seasons, at least.

I do look forward to see how the gang will deal with FOWL at the end of the season. It's just a shame that will be the last we see of the show.

  18. This episode was one of my favorites, actually. Granted, most of the old cast being there probably helped, but still. I just wish Screech would have gotten a cameo as well, like Lisa did. It was a bit of shame to see Zack and Slater weren't on very good terms anymore, but then again Zack is worse here than in the old show. Mr. Toddman was great in this episode. Seeing him edited into scenes from the original series was hilarious, as well as how he reacted to being slimed. Zack Attack reforming was a nice touch too.

That was a repackaged rerun of two old eps as a new one last night.

Nick's been gone from the show for several years.

Nick has been gone from the show for so long that it feels weird watching an episode with him now, especially since he was Zak's second in command.

Nick's last episode would have been the time they went to Ireland, which was one of the show's best specials, so at least he left on a good note.

  20. Yeah, it holds up very well. It's one of the oldest shows I watch too. Most sitcoms I watch are from the 80's to today, this one is from the 70's, going into the early 80's.

But yeah, I also caught a few episodes on IFC during that marathon they had.

Also, these seem to be the same versions of the episodes they air on Logo. Some time is cut from the episodes. That's part of why I bought the complete series DVD set. Sometime, I want to compare the DVD set and current TV airings of some episodes and see just what parts are cut out.
