I would imagine the little clothes would be pretty ratty after all these years and use by 2 little boys and the car seat would have expired. I was my mother’s 5th girl and a shower was thrown for her. It’s nice to celebrate each baby and for it to have some nice new things. I’m sure no one was obligated to bring gifts, but they probably all did.

That was my assumption. I think they would’ve had to pay in advance, not at the last minute. But I don’t know how these things work.

Re bolded: I don’t think that’s the only reason he’ll remain single. 😁 I believe they are assigned through a mission board (might not be the correct wording to use) so there will probably be a bit of retirement money through that. Though it will be a very small amount if so.

In that pic Jessa and Ben almost look like they might have a bit of chemistry. They should role play more often. I know Ben’s been a rapper and Amish, but Jessa really should join in more often.

Yes, it’s ok to love someone even if you hate something they did. Especially a close relative. I still think Jessa’s post was too much though. Especially since there isn’t a rift in their relationship that she’s trying to mend and even more so since JB isn’t even on SM (that I know of).

The kids may think he hung the moon, but there’s no mention that she does too.
