  1. It’s hard to keep up but I think everyone’s (at least publicly) basically cool with Shannen at this point. Even before her cancer diagnosis I remember Jennie saying that they had made up – it seemed to me she’d turned her ire to Tiffani. Classic Taylor. The articles about this are confusing - apparently they won't be playing their old characters. The earlier reports, from when it was just Jennie and Tori's thing, makes me think it might be more of a spoof of reboots, with them playing themselves playing their characters? So basically a 2019 Grosse Pointe but they cut out the middlemen. I think that would have a way better chance of success than an earnest continuation but I’d personally prefer something lighter on the intentional comedy. Most of the cast seems too self-conscious to truly mock themselves in a way that wouldn’t get self-congratulatory and tiring after a couple of episodes.
  2. Slumber Party being directly underneath this topic reminds me of something I've always wondered: why didn't Amanda Peyser ever come back? All I want is her commentary on post-Cool Kelly and St. Donna.
  3. Just checked Vincent Young's instagram and wow. Thanks for that. There's so much to appreciate but one little detail I love is the way he hashtags posts about his career #characteractor. Bless. I'm pretty sure Gina and Dylan start up next episode. These writers might be lazy, but they do everything they can to create a couple that's fueled by hatred more than Dylan and Kelly are. It almost works.
  4. I am outraged that the dude playing fake Dylan didn't get the role of Noah. Man, I'm really looking forward to the Noah episodes. I also can't believe I just wrote those words.
  5. Honestly that made me laugh harder than anything else Tori Spelling has ever done, including "it's brains". And I've seen most of her Lifetime movies plus all of So NoTorious. Delurking to share how much I HATE this episode. Tara and Sarah touched on a lot of what's wrong, so I'll just chime in in agreement. I feel like in the race episodes there's always a scene where a person of color makes all these good points, like the writers read them somewhere or consulted someone smart, and it just makes it worse that in the end they're groveling to stupid Brandon (and now Donna). This was especially bad given that it's a single mother juggling work and nursing school getting lectured by someone who couldn't handle attending college and being a goddamn debutante.
