I kind of hate watch this show and this really hit the nail on the head why it’s like that for me.

The theme song is so unpleasant to listen too. I have to mute it. Since the show is gearing up the revolution this year maybe they should have chosen an American singer.

I agree with this. I can see eventually accepting it but the guy is allowed to be angry for a couple of minutes.

I’m confused too. So what is Roger’s deal? He has zero desire to get a job? How are they living in a freaking castle with just Bree working? I get they had savings but that seems to be a bottomless pit of money. Random observation - the actor playing the general is beyond terrible.

I rolled my eyes at the exploding ambulance. it’s like this show was taken over by fanfic writers at this point. Can someone explain to me what caused Pratt’s death because I didn’t get it.

I’m on season -14 now and this show is a chore to watch because of the jump the shark drama. I don’t think the reaction I should have had to Ray getting hit by a truck was to laugh but the number of times one of the main characters is hurt by this point was just absurd. Ray losing his legs was just too much. Also Luka seriously decided to surprise Abby with a wedding in a shithole with only their coworkers and their son no where in sight? Really? And wow is Abby awful when it comes to Luka and his dad. She says “you’re life is here.” So that means his father ceases to exist? I mean how the hell do you get upset by a man who is a doctor going home to look after his sick parent? How shitty must you be? I also can’t with everyone being in love with Abby and Neela when they are 2 of the worst characters in the 15 years of this show. I don’t think Sam is far behind. The drama surrounding her character is as tedious as Abby’s.

I think the actor they have now is a good grown up version of season 3 Willie.

I always thought he resembled the actress who played Geneva when I first saw him.

I’ve never thought of Claire as the author’s Mary Sue but I can see it. I have thought Jaime was her own personal wet dream.

I just watched the James Woods’ episode and can someone tell me how Abby’s wants supersede a man who has a progressive debilitating disease? Watching her just fills you with rage because the idea that a person has zero say in their final days/months - holy fuck. I have never liked Dr. Abby because she is so arrogant and just bulldozes over everyone. Besides that so a resident has the only say and the attendings just stand around with their thumbs up their ass? Seriously Luka needed to find someone outside of the damn hospital because he is worthless when it involves someone he is screwing.

That makes sense since the first person she saw was BJ.

The whole minister thing was silly when you would think the ridge could have used a teacher. Hell he could have been both. It would have spared us from Briana constantly saying “but you’re not a minister” though.

I don’t remember the gold story in the books. It seems shoehorned in and out of left field in this episode. I also don’t get it - Jaime basically stole the gold from the guy who already stole it? Did he even give any kind of a reason why he wanted it? I haven’t cried at anything so far this season but Claire saying goodbye to Adso got to me. Also why is there no rhyme or reason to Caitriona Balfe’s wigs? One scene it’s full of gray, the next it’s pretty much all brown. How hard is it to keep track of it so it’s consistent? I also may start a drinking game for every time this season someone mentions how William is like Jaime. I clearly remember Gabaldon banging readers over the heads with that in the books too.

He really should take his chances in the woods with the wild animals.

I need someone to tell me who thought this season’s theme song sounded good. It honestly sounds like Sinead is in pain singing it. The more I hear it the worst it sounds.

Jaime told Bree about William in season 5 right before she was supposed to go to her time. I think 2 of the people LJ was referring to were Geneva and Isobel since he said 2 took the secret to the grave.

Is it because her character was the most popular among the flood of new characters at the time? I mean if you go by season 6 Abby I can see why. It’s season 7 and beyond that she became really unlikeable but of course in Hollywood if the public connects with something let’s shove it down their throats.

They are a series of short stories. I enjoyed them and there is material in them that I would love to see David Berry get to act on screen in a LJ series.

Carter wasn’t alone just in the romantic sense - he was literally on his own. The only family member that gave a damn about him was his dead grandmother and the only person that was around when he had his kidney surgery was someone he hadn’t seen in years - Benton. I’ll never get why the writers chose to take Carter in such a damn depressing direction. On top of everything they also keep him in a hopeless marriage for years. I mean come on already.

I hope we see Roz again. I hope she is part of the story that takes Dan back to NYC. It would be nice to see Dan interact with someone who knew him when and not just as the group elder.

The only way I can see Secrets and Lies being a favorite is if Luka was a favorite of yours. Mr. great at fencing and lost his virginity to his wife makes him have the more tolerable writing of that shitshow.

How do you focus on character legacies and ignore Alexander and Wesley? It’s disappointing that the writers didn’t seem to care enough to include them - they are actual children of TNG characters that we actually got to see on screen for years.

Which is why Picard becoming a father now is too little too late. Picard having a kid should have happened in one of the movies or the first season of this show. Not when the man is like a hundred and you have 10 episodes to tell the story.
