  1. Yes, because he's had this thing in particular with Michaela since last season, when she got up in his face, stole his laptop etc..and he accused her of being a rich daddy's girl LOL, just there in law school trying to catch a husband. Then this season she got up in his face about Asher and said something about Simon not knowing what she is capable of. Then the look on his face when she won that bowl competition at work was if I could get rid of this "bitch" and put her in her place where she belongs kind of look. I mean that has to be going somewhere...no? Whatever goes down with him, I can't see him blaming anyone but solely Michaela. And they better get Asher the hell out of jail, Laurel reminding me of all the life Frank has taken, innocent life and his ass it out still roaming. They better free Asher then.
  2. No, in the promo they showed at the end of the last episode, there was blood on her face at the office party. There was clearly blood around, under her right eye while she's screaming for help. But it also looked like she was burned or scratched, maybe some of the blood looked really dark and it's not a bruise. But it looked like a bruise to me. Now by the time we get to the flash forward with the Dr. in the hospital, when she turns around I don't see any blood on her face just her clothes, because I guess at some point she or someone cleaned her face off. I'm still waiting for them to connect the dots, between her and the Dr. How does he know her name at that hospital? Hell, what is he even doing at the hospital period? Up to now he knows neither Laurel, Frank nor Michaela.
  3. Speaking of sorry, when is PN going to have sorry ass Laurel, give Anna a sincere apology for accusing her of being the one who was mainly at fault for what happened to Wes? I won't hold my breath, since they'll be nothing but poor Laurel with all her baby drama once everything is said and done. She can't say sorry yet, but she sure needs to fix that stink face she's still giving Anna when she runs into her. And no, the other ones do not owe Anna an apology, please. I keep seeing the stance that they should be more thankful, no. For what? She was a co conspirator when she decided to come up with the plan to hack up Sam's body and you know who she did that the most for? Fucking Wes. She did not do it first and foremost for and of the others if at all. He was always the one on her mind and in her heart, the others either benefited or fell depending on what she did in the name of Wes. Another thing THEY did NOT kill her husband, WES did in defense of Sam strangling that girl, then they proceeded to hack up and bury the body, unbeknownst to them that it was Anna's plan to do so. And one would be hard press to even get them on breaking and entering since they were accustomed to spending all hours at Anna's house. The only one who they could have solid case on breaking and entering is that girl Rebecca at the suggestion of annoying ass Nate. Then Mickey and Connor tried to get Laurel on board with turning themselves in at one point and Laurel ratted them out to Anna. Now they still could have said fuck it and gone to turn themselves in but at that point, knowing how resourceful Anna is, I can't even blame them for not doing so. Shit, how are they to bank on her not setting up Connor and Michaela to take the damn fall all so she could protect her Wes. That's the way she came off to me, so...So I'm over this bow down to Anna and these kids are all so much more at fault or more horrible and ungrateful. And if any of them are at this point is Laurel, that girl has dragged everyone into her shit and they are at fault for going along with it. But I can't stand her.
  4. One more thing, where the hell was the make-up sex scene with Masher? No make up sex, after ALL that? Get the fuck out of here. All that shit, all that strife and the man comes home to ketchup and and old wedding dress. Whatever PN, whatever. All that corny, bullshit symbolism with the ketchup and Vera Wang dress was time that could have been put to better use with a love scene, ugh. And judging by the previews, they could use it considering the separation they're more than likely about to go through. Ugh, this damn show. But there apparently is plenty of time to see Laurel's pregnant belly, full of questionable baby daddy genetics sexing it up with Frank, yeah, ok.
  5. Michaela's face in the latest promo looks like she's been burned or scratched up around her right eye, something I didn't notice in the flash forward scene with the Dr at the hospital. But can definitely see it in the promo of her screaming for help at the office party, WTH? Yeah, she had to be in some kind of struggle.
  6. I know I can't mouth the words or thoughts even on a fictional baby, but I just don't care. At this point, I don't care because the kid is attached to Laurel. But then if something really did happen to him, I'll have to suffer through tears and/or a mental breakdown and yet again all roads and attention leading to Laurel. Either way, if it's ok or not, they'll be no moving on.
  7. Yeah, so do I, the same blame I put on his mentor when I watched her show. It's all the same writing style to me, which is my overall point every time I point it out.
  8. There is no way they brought on that actress from OZ and Law & Order Criminal Intent to just play Izaac's wife. She has got to have something hands-on to do with that blood. She looks sane, but I'm thinking she's not alright. We're led to believe that Izaac is about to snap/relapse, when it might be her. But this is PN, he brought on Brett Butler, Brett fucking Butler and underused her so...
  9. Michaela putting ketchup on that 20K wedding dress reminded me yet again of why I hate the writing in Shondaland, corny ass shit, ugh. That was some privileged ass bullshit, and Michaela is no way in hell privileged and she hasn't forgotten that PN. This is the kind head in the clouds shit that Shonda use to pull just for some cheesy symbolism, "eye roll". Anyone but Michaela would fuck up a dress costing that much money. The last time she sold something of her past future with what's his name was when she sold her engagement ring. She sold it because she had to recovery the money she lost at the casino, but then she took a thousand of that money and put in a homeless man's pocket. But now PN wants me to not roll my eyes at her not putting that dress up for sale and taking the proceeds if not for herself, then to make a donation to a homeless shelter or some other charity. Hell, she and Asher could have done that together to solidify their fresh start, which is going up in smoke next week LOL. But are they freaking kidding me? Gosh, I hate the juvenile writing in Shondaland, hate it. Aja is a fantastic actress, that crying scene with her character and Asher was great, they both were. I have to keep reminding myself that Simon did put up those flyers of Anna, with the word murder written in red across her face. Otherwise, damn, that is fucked up what they are about to do to him, seriously? Yeah, I 'll believe this when I see it. Not on this show, she pays for nothing, or if she does, she gets the empathy and all the attention. Frank will be there to pick her ass up off the damn floor, and I'll continue to have to suffer through her fucking tears and pain, while these writers make Michaela pay, and Asher, and Oliver and every damn body else. But yet it'll be where's that damn baby 24/7 because hey, it's a baby who is unfortunately attached to Laurel.
  10. Ok, based on that promo, Frank has his hands around Connor's neck throwing up against a walk. While Mickey gives slips Asher a card, like one of those pass keys you need to get into your office building. Or, should I say, it's Teagan or one of the other partner's pass key that she slips to him. But you can definitely see her slip it to him on the sly and he puts it in the inner breast pocket if his suit. So, I conclude that Asher is in jail for breaking and entering or just plain getting caught stealing that key. Which Mickey stole because she lies like running water and I think she can pick pocket too which yes Asher, it was taught to her in the "home" she grew up in. I mean, the first time we meet her mother, she's lying about cancer. That being said, she'll always be my favorite, but she's got some side eyeing ways. I still think that I saw her stealing at that outdoor mall or whatever it was last season when she ran into Wes. I know she looked to me like she slipped something in her pocket before she noticed Wes.
  11. She's in it because strangely PN and Co. can't figure out or don't want to waste time on a second story line for her, that will eventually lead her and Asher into the fold. Nope, he has to use her for fucking Laurel's shit once again. He can't do with her, what he did with Anna. Anna isn't in this shit yet, she's been having her own journey outside of Laurel's bullshit, so that left poor Michaela to get sucked in because Nowalk could care less about her separate journey to anywhere. He only puts in a line here and there about her mommy issues and her mother showed up for two episodes, which is ridiculous because from the little shit she exposed about that family, there's a ton of story there that could most definitely lead to murder or a disappearance at best. Mickey's "family" is a hot ass mess. He only seems to be able to put extended time into anything related to Laurel, Laurel/Frank. I mean, I still don't get what her day to day childhood was like. I still don't get how exactly did she go about making money, enough to now afford that apartment. She's not always working. She told Asher she said goodbye to her mother a long time ago. What's a long time ago? When exactly did she leave "home" was it before undergrad? That being said, I can see how PN could rationalize it as these people being the closest thing to a family that Michaela in particular has ever had. They all came from "real" families, a cohesive group flaws and all, but people who did actually care about their well being, Michaela never had a real family. I think this group of people seemed like more of a family to her even the ones that annoyed her or she wasn't as close to, than her adoptive family. She described her adoptive family as pretty much dirt, and while Wes annoyed the shit out of her, Laurel too, I don't think she would use those words to describe them. But I don't care, I still call bullshit on her risking everything to be so proactive in Laurel's mess. At the very least she should have been written to still resist and Laurel somehow unbeknownst to her, puts her in a position where she's dragged into it unwillingly. I think this is the conclusion we are suppose to draw as to her motivation for doing all this and we were suppose to come to this conclusion from the limited screen time he chose to give to her mother's visit, from the little lines that Anna said about her looking for a mommy where ever she goes. What PN doesn't get and neither did Shonda is that good story telling takes time, you have to put the screen time in and neither one of them do that well enough IMO. So viewers are like how the hell did we get here? Where were the clues? Especially if that's not your number one character, you could miss the little that they give you to work with.
  12. I don't think Asher is an unattractive guy, but it takes a hell of lot for me to call someone unattractive based on the superficial outer appearance and I don't like doing it. But I will focus on personality and behavior flaws in a hot minute, because at the end of the day that's what's most important IMO when it comes to suitable partners. What is unattractive is his temper and his tantrum and most of all his lack of caring for his girlfriend in this particular situation. His immaturity makes him unattractive because he's got his priorities all wrong here as far as I'm concerned. She's out of his league because she comes off as more of an adult to me than the lot of them even though she makes some shitty decisions when it comes to her personal life. But sorry, she's out of his league because she has had no one to look out for her, her entire life and she's serious and about business. She's had no choice but to try and survive all on her own, meanwhile he was worried about which internship his rich, judge daddy was going to hook him up with. So I have little patience anymore to chuckle at Asher's goofy side, nor his childish tantrum side when it comes to being in the presence of Michaela especially when he's not pulling his weight in his duties in being the man who is supposed to love her. I never forget some woman on Oprah years ago talking about how men love differently. She said her husband doesn't wax on poetic with words all the time, he doesn't say he loves her all the time. But she is reminded that he does by the little things he does that are actually very important to her well being. She said something about making sure some light was on in the garage for her because he knows she comes in late and he wants her to not have to rattle around in the dark, something to that effect. That when he does that, I know he's thinking of me and my safety and that's love. It's those things PN, get your ass in gear or hire someone who can write a real love story between any man and a black woman. Because clearly you have no problems writing caring scenes between the other love combinations. I mean you would write it the way you pretty much write any other love combination, but clearly PN blind spots are getting in his way so...
  13. Yeah, and this is my problem, Nowalk needs to grow him up and write it that way, there's nothing stopping his damn pen/pencil from doing so. Or, keep him the hell away from Michaela. He can show up and Bonnie's doorstep and because she's in tears he puts his arm around her; but for some reason, in Nowalk's mind, this man who is suppose to love this woman Michaela, can't summon up concern mixed in with the anger at her dumb decision to put her safety in jeopardy, for me that's love and that wasn't in his dialogue. Michaela showed more love for him with her lie, because her lie, although wrong, came from a place of wanting to protect him. It was not self-serving. Meanwhile, his outrage over said lie conveyed absolutely no warmth of frustration because partly he was worried for the safety of the woman he claims to love. PN wrote it this way because he has the same fucking, insulting, dehumanizing image of the black woman in his mind, that the rest of the ignorant do. Give me a break, just the other day, which would be last season, Asher was sitting up in Mickey's bed calling her cold because she was giving enough of a care about Wes (fuck you again PN)Shonda use to write that shit about Cristina Yang being cold all the time and I use to say fuck you to her too about it, LOL *eye roll*. Please try something new, stop copying the same old bullshit where the driven female is cold, ugh. Yet now she's full on trying to help Laurel's ass regarding Wes's murder, showing she cares, putting herself in jeopardy ugh, whatever...she can't win. And if she makes one mistake, or makes a bad choice it's off with her head. I just feel there is a different standard especially for her screw ups and I'm sick of it. Look, I need Michaela with a real mature man, she's too hot, smart and charming to be wasted on this show, especially for all things fucking Laurel/Wes,ugh. Or, get her damn crazy ass, "family" back because they sound fucked up enough to be involved in some murdering. Get something going, because I can't with the immaturity that is Asher, I can't take it. I can't take the immaturity angle PERIOD in Shondaland, this thing that they've done on Grey's and now on HTGAWM, where they need to write the twenty-somethings as acting like undergrad, silly ass college students just so they can prop up the characters who play the thirty-somethings and up. It's not cute at all.
  14. Well this in the only Shondaland show I watch and I had promised myself to never watch another after the Yang character left Grey's. Could never get into Scandal even though I've watched KW's career and think she's a decent actress. Yeah, I'm fully aware that Shonda doesn't run this show, I never said she does. What I said, is that she annoyed me as well and I have the same exact issues that I have with PN, with her, when it comes the diversity in the WRITING for black female characters on her shows, not the casting, it's the writing. Now that Hollywood is on the let's try to make it appear a little more diverse, they still have plenty of work to do on the writing for diversity part, a lot of work. There is something NOT coincidental about the lack of support, care, empathy shown toward Michaela. I just don't see it, I don't. Yet I've seen it extended to all the others by the people in their lives who claim to care about them. She gets used, yet not a damn other character is written to focus on her for her well being. PN had no issues writing Connor to be upset and afraid for Oliver's safety as being the main reason he didn't want Oliver anywhere near Anna and Co. yet he can't find the same dialogue for Michaela's well being from Asher. No, no, there is something wrong here and I'm hanging on by a thread.
  15. Sorry, but he's a grown ass man as far as I'm concerned. A twenty-something, and I'm not of the mind of treating twenty-somethings any differently than any other adults. Shondaland likes to pull this shit all the time when writing for them vs. the supposed thirty on ups, it's annoying. They did the same shit on Greys, it was annoying. They are not "the babies" far from it and I don't buy it. Asher is grown, he has a woman who he claims to love, the first thing he should have hit the roof about was her putting her safety in harms way, not being mad because he was cut out of the loop. You're right Asher you shouldn't lie to someone you claim to love, but you should also act like their safety comes first when you hear they are putting themselves in harms way brother. He should be pissed at the lying because the cards on the table is what a healthy relationship is about, but the fact that there were no lines written about him being pissed that she was putting herself in danger totally turned me off. But I'm not surprised, because no one is supposed to worry or give a shit about Michaela's well being, no wonder she won't stop looking for a mommy. Yet you have Peter Nowalk tweeting a couple a weeks ago proudly about Michaela standing up and trying to protect Asher against Simon. WTF? I'm not wrong in this continual complaint about about the different standard and writing for the black girl and when I continue to see it, I'm going to harp on it, because it is destructive representation. He doesn't get it and I'm not surprised. But in the same breath, neither does Shonda fully get it and she's a black woman, so as far as Shondaland goes this has always been par for the course IMO. Viola and Kerri Washington absolutely do not count, those are token big wigs as far as black actresses can be considered that in the industry. I'm talking about the second and third tier black actresses trying to come up, and Shonda has done a shit job where they are concerned. That being said, I will repeat, I basically think he was pissed because Michaela said that Teagan was the only/one good thing in her life. Granted, I think that came from her ambitious, driven self who is rightfully still in pursuit of becoming a kick ass attorney. It would have helped if she said her professional life which for many ambitious folks is hard to separate, because that life takes over their entire lives. She wasn't thinking about Asher in that moment even though she's trying to love him and maintain a relationship because she was thinking of how hard she has had to work and is still working to achieve her professional dream and Teagan is the one good person right now who will help her achieve that. But that would still be of no solace to the man who claims he loves her, it still hurts to hear. Like what about me? I'm in your life.
  16. I still think the only reason Michaela is asking about is "he" dead is because someone has already been killed at her job, so in her state she's expecting more death to follow. I mean why not? Hence, her crying on the Dr. and talking about everyone always dying around them.
  17. Well then, that leaves Asher. He's in a jail cell without any other character being present. Bonnie shows up at the law office and Ollie is there. Laurel, Frank and the Dr.; Mickey and the Dr.... Oh wait, where's Connor? Please, he's not going anywhere, he's Nowalk's baby and neither is Anna even though it looks like she's bleeding out in some shower. At least we know she didn't take off with that baby. I don't know, I find something very strange with Michaela's flash forward scene. I just don't get why she looks so out of it and disheveled. Or, why she looks like she shows up at the hospital out of nowhere, being that the Dr.is just seeing her and she's not with Frank in Laurel's hospital room. It's just strange to me. Well we shall see.
  18. Regarding who is safe, I don't think seeing any of the remaining four in flash forwards proves they are safe from getting axed. They showed Wes in a flash forward and I thought he was safe, but he wasn't. But then again would they kill off another one of them? Who the hell knows, it's possible, cause a lot of stupid shit goes down in Shondaland, just dumb.
  19. Please, Bonnie can have his ass back. I will surely be done with this show if I have to see someone as awesome as Mickey fighting for any man, especially one with a temper that's destructive to the point that he ran a woman over with his car to her death. No fucking way am I staying tuned for that, sorry Viola, I'm out if it goes there. I loved it when Mickey finally screamed at him to not tell anyone. I laughed, it was like ok , have your tantrum, you are walking out this door so...could you at least not tell anyone that Laurel's dad murdered Wes. I laughed at that point. I'm sorry, these people are accessories to murders and/or actual murderers, there will NEVER be the normal standard for them with anything in life. Therefore, to find out that your girlfriend was lying to protect you rather than it be because she was cheating on you... Sorry, but in this group, Asher's response was way over the top, ridiculous. In the context of this group and all the shit...nope, sorry, let his ass go Mickey. Now, On the other hand , I'm thinking that him storming out was more about hearing her say that Teagan was the One or was if only good thing in her life. Say what? Come again? Now he had every right to be deeply hurt about that more so than what she was helping annoying ass Laurel with. What a loving caring boyfriend should do upon hearing about that, is hit the roof regarding his woman's safety. That's what I should have heard. But yeah, I'm thinking what she said about Teagan was really where the hurt came from, or at least it should be. I even could have sworn that , that part was replayed the loudest when he put the phone up to her face. But still, you just don't storm out for that especially when she says she loves you and was trying to keep you safe and the lie does not include her cheating on you which is what you were bitching about to Frank. Please, you think Frank would pack up and leave shitty Laurel for keeping the same secret and lying about it?It's a rhetorical question, and the answer is no he wouldn't. No, he'd have patience and grant forgiveness. It's not like Mickey has some long history if lying to Asher. He can't grant her a conversation? Bye Asher, more importantly, by Peter Nowalk. Why the fuck is the black girl granted less second chances. Laurel runs around doing all kinds of shit, jerking two men around. One is supposed to be the love of her life, yet she can't help but fuck around with the first one while the love of her life was alive, and now she's messing around with him again. But he's willing to stick with and raise that kid even if it's not his. But for one scenario in which Michaela makes a bad choice, she gets walked out on. And it is one scenario which is this shit with Laurel's father killing Wes and Michaela lying to keep Asher out of it. Fuck you Peter Nowalk.
  20. Because it had nothing to do with who the actual case was against, it had to do with Bonnie ruining Anna's accomplishment. She needed forty defendants for the case to go forward and Bonnie got them to drop like flies. Again, these people are not emotionally well at all and Bonnie, understandably, is at the top of the list of those who are the most ill, poor thing. I feel for her, raped by dozens of men, nope, it was dozens upon dozens, with her dad at the top of the list, good lord. The fact that she functions at all is a miracle. She like Michaela is reacting to Anna's rejection or what she sees as rejection, like a little sister, a daughter , a girlfriend, with Bonnie it's weird because I can't tell what the actual relationship is. Sisters and daughters aren't supposed to be kissing sisters and mothers on the lips the way she and Anna kissed last season so....With Michaela it's a clear mommy vibe that she's looking for and trying to project onto to Anna. Bonnie and Anna is weird with all the incest shit going on, very weird. Then, you had Anna's husband being her therapist then unethically like he did with Anna making out with Bonnie, it's all sick, just sick. But she's crying in the Dr's office talking about missing their family, which included Anna, her husband, Frank and Bonnie. She's angry and wants to stop Anna from being successful at every turn, maybe to the point that Anna begs her to come back even.
  21. What Bonnie said in the flashback on the stand along with what Anna said, has got to be tied to Laurel's baby. Seriously, it can't be a coincidence that Bonnie mentions being drugged and the baby being gone when she woke up, that her father took it, while Anna brings up a hysterical pregnancy. Both theories being put out there in this flashback will cover Nowalk either way. Someone could have drugged her and taken the baby since in the flash foward it was mentioned that there were drugs found in her system. By the way does anyone remember what those drugs were? I could have sworn that Frank mentioned them to the Dr.. Or it's a hysterical pregnancy. Either way, what was revealed in the flash back about Bonnie's "baby" of course will be "ironically" coming full circle when it comes to what happened to Laurel's "baby." This is where her stunted growth hampers her, because she never had a childhood. I stand by what I posted though, that I still consider her more grown than the rest because she's had to be so the fact that she keeps looking up to these other people in the way she does bugs me. You are a boss bitch Michaela, learn from these women but stop idolizing them so much. Your childhood was taking from you, and you can't get it back you gotta move on. It drives me crazy, because she's the one person who I feel shouldn't be bowing down to anyone including Anna. But I totally get how when it comes to anything personal, she would make all the wrong choices. She knows all about the law, her school grades, her ability to get her job done, perfection. But once you bring in anything personal, she can't make the smart choices. I have no idea, and I call bullshit on her trying so hard to bring down Wes's killer. They were not close and she has nothing to feel guilty over, please Peter Nowalk. Again, fucking over my favorite character for the characters you really give a shit about. The only thing I can muster up is that deep down she just might consider all of them her family, more of a family than she ever had growing up, which is why she doesn't really hate Anna, her reactions to me are that of a daughter having a tantrum and saying she hates her mother, when it's a lot more complicated than that. So Wes is like the brother who although they might not have been close he was part of the family. But because Peter Nowalk put such a limited amount of time and effort into her back story, that's all I can come up with. Otherwise it all makes no sense. Regarding lying to Asher, she told Oliver while he was complaining about lying to his boyfriend about what he was doing, that they were lying to protect both Asher and Connor. So there's the answer as to why she's not telling Asher, keep him out of it, this way he can't be implicated. Of course this is about to back fire because she has no idea just how insecure Asher is, but that was her reasoning.
  22. Yeah I know about Jeannie Mae and I wish her all the best for a decision that is wise and anything but selfish. Theirs is a truly sad and unfortunate situation and IMO no one is the bad guy. He can't help that his "uterus" is aching even though at one time he thought he'd never want kids and she can't help that hers isn't. Oh Calvin and Nova... So what now? I gotta see Nova in Zika and BLM mode every damn episode with no love life, please. Yes, that occurs in real life but it's not going to fly for tv enjoyment week after week. And I actually don't think I want to see her with someone who is an activist for the same causes as she's fighting for, too much, not interesting. But, she should maybe be with someone who is as passionate about their work as she is about hers.
  23. Yeah, it's my problem too, all of this. It's all bullshit, AD and I will never be on the same page with this one.
  24. I don't know what was going on except that the shoe wasn't really her size. Mickey is such a sucker upper she'd take them and wear them any way. Michaela's never had trouble walking in heels so... she and Bonnie are the smallest of the group so I thought her shoe size might have been a seven at most. Michaela's problem Is that she really does not know deep down inside how much of a boss bitch she is, due to her emotional mommy issues. She brags like she knows but...She's too busy looking for one and admiring other boss bitches way too much instead of truly admiring the "swamp" she had to trudge through to get where she is. Finally, I'm beginning to resent Peter Nowalk as much as I use to resent Shonda Rhimes, he' in charge of this shit. He and Shonda just live screwing over my one favorite character when it comes to each of their shows. But I did like the back story on Bonnie and Anna, after Michaela, Bonnie is the second person I feel bad for. The rest of them... I don't care.
  25. I'll say this, Asher is in jail, neatly in his suit, without a speck of blood on him; that's what stood out for me. I think every hair on his head looked to be in place too so I'm not sure whatever he did had anything to do with a lot of blood.
