  1. I am completely surprised at how much I enjoy this show! I fear for it's longevity because I NEVER hear anything about it, except on here. But, as much as I've liked Martha Plimpton in other roles, my eyes glaze over when she and VP are on the screen. I wish they'd ditch that story line and concentrate on her and Pat coming to terms with their new status. And I know Noah Galvin is problematic but I can't help it, I think he's so excellent in this, he really makes me laugh. Both Kenny and Jimmy are great, and I'd be perfectly happy if the show just focused on those two. I hope they do some tweaking and feature less of the parents, and more on the siblings.
  2. I love Justina Muchado. That said, the rest of cast, yes, even Rita Moreno, I find...meh. The whole thing strikes me very much like a Disney or Nickelodeon show, annoying studio laughter and all. The pacing is just so stilted and the line readings are really "I'm watching a school play"ish. The kid who plays the son is a doll, though. I'd like to see Justina in something else. I'd like to see it recast aside from Justina, and lose the studio audience.
  3. 5 guns????? An AR-15????? Children in the home???? WTH is the matter with people and their friggin' gun obsession? I will NEVER understand.
  4. I've been an occasional watcher of PW, mainly fascinated by how uncomfortable she is on camera and wondering how her brand of pedestrian cooking earned a spot on FN. I noted Tues. that her mask slipped briefly when she posted her support for Trump on her Instagram, and then quickly deleted it. Her fan base, no doubt, experienced spontaneous orgasms in solidarity.
  5. They really don't know quite what to do with Edgar at this point, do they? For me, his story line is definitely the weakest. The addition of Dorothy isn't bringing anything to the table. I continue to love Lindsay.
  6. That's funny...I had the opposite reaction. I thought the acting was exceptional, with the exception of the actor playing Dominic. (His lines were very stilted and self conscious, I thought) I was especially impressed with Tig and her brother; how natural and "un acty" (no, not a word, don't look it up) they seem. Tig is just such a calming, relaxed presence for me. Bill's role is much more intricate, and beautifully expressed. Anyway, I hope for a long life for this show. Probably my favorite thing I've binged watched, along with Veep and You're the Worst.
