  1. The timeline on this show is so annoying. Ethan goes to California, and Olivia goes to Florence, Italy to do some writing?? Was this a trip planned in advance, or did she decide to go to Italy when Ethan said he was going to California? So Olivia thinks Ethan should be the one to say the marriage is over, not her. They both clearly have reached the conclusion that there is no path forward for them. Take the initiative, make the decision and tell him so you can both start moving on to whatever comes next. It seems disingenuous on her part to put the onus on Ethan when she's just as responsible for determining the fate of their relationship as he is.
  2. Both Ethan and Olivia have posted messages about the end of their marriage. Welcome to Plathville stars announce split after five years
  3. If her house is on the lake, it’s not cheap. Due to its proximity to Charlotte, there are plenty of high-dollar homes belonging to players with the Panthers and the Hornets, NASCAR drivers, etc. We wanted a lake home too, but that area too expensive for us. No offense taken, Gemma, I get it. The article says she’s had a multistate nursing license since 2021 but it doesn’t say that she’s actually working as a nurse. If it’s true she’s living from paycheck to paycheck, she’s working somewhere. But given her former lifestyle, even a well-paid nursing job wouldn’t afford all the perks she had in the past.
  4. Kate Gosselin Living Paycheck to Paycheck According to this article, she's now living in Troutman, NC, which is about 30 miles north of Charlotte, near Lake Norman. She's not in dire straits if she can afford to live in that area. OTOH, it's not the high life she was living as a reality tv "star." In other words, she's living like most people.
  5. I believe this is an honest, sincere account from someone who has actually lived with Collin the last few years and knows him for the person he is now. Whatever happened when he was a child, no doubt because of the way he was treated by his mother, he's obviously made great progress since then. If Colleen is the mother he never had, then I'm happy that he's found acceptance and love in her family as well as with Jon and Hannah. I hope their support will sustain him in this new chapter of his life so that he finds what makes him happy.
  6. Olivia and her brother made the choice to leave 2 hours earlier than Ethan and his siblings, not telling them she intended to do that. She even mentioned walking by Micah as he slept so she didn't want them to know she was leaving. Why be sneaky about it? I understand that she may have wanted to leave the picnic earlier than the others so traveling separately made sense, but I don't understand why she couldn't have traveled separately and left at the same time as Ethan et al. Then, whining that the family didn't ask her to join them when they arrived at the picnic site, as if she was incapable of simply walking up the trail to meet them herself. Her "poor me", whiny complaining made me want to throw something at the TV. Gah! Olivia was told repeatedly by Ethan, Micah and Moriah that they would understand if she didn't want to come so she made the choice to be there, no one forced her. I thought her behavior was very passive-aggressive in that situation.
  7. No, you're not, I'm so ready to get rid of her by whatever means possible. If death is the most expedient way, bring it on. If death brings an end to her wearing the skimpy Commanche vest with nothing on underneath while everyone else with the wagon train is bundled in multiple layers, it can't happen soon enough. Although perhaps Sheridan derived a little schadenfreude from her complaining about her arm-pit restricting, boob-smashing dress, then soon after being shot through with an arrow. I certainly did.
  8. Elsa tells Shea she's staying, not going to Oregon, then "marries" the Commanche and ... leaves for Oregon, telling her new husband she'll be back in the spring, shouting her love for him as she departs (so much for her broken heart from the loss of the cowboy). How is she making the return trip -- alone?? It seems as if Taylor Sheridan envisions Elsa as a WonderWoman of the Plains -- outriding Commanche warriors, galloping off to battle cattle rustlers, killing a buffalo with a first shot the first time she's ever hunted them, and then rides off at the end wearing the vest her husband gave her with nothing underneath because, you know, she's a warrior now. We started watching this show with hopes for a realistic portrayal but now we watch it to laugh at the unrealistic content, inconsistencies and poor continuity -- in this episode Elsa wears a coat to the Commanche camp, leaves without wearing it, the next scene she's wearing the coat again.
  9. After this episode, I'm right there with you. I know this season has been fakery for most of the stories, but the final straw for me was the scene with Vanessa and Colt, where he's telling her he's off to pick up Jess, and he barely contains laughter while Vanessa can't even hide her laughter as she turns away. Even the bad actors are laughing at the ridiculous story line they're supposed to deliver.
  10. 😄 I had the same thought, Nathan Lane's character in "The Birdcage" being coached by Robin Williams how to use his hands in a manly way: don't raise the pinky finger when holding the tea cup, and "You don't butter the toast, you SCHMEAR it."
  11. You're not the only one who thought Mama Asuelo kissed him on the cheek, it looked that way to me too. And like you, I also believe the lavish affection toward her son and grandchildren was driven more by the anticipated $$$. Later on, when Mama is talking to the camera about how her son used to be so good about bringing money until he got married, it seemed to me this woman was used to manipulating her simple-minded son into giving her whatever she demanded of him and now she's pissed because she's lost that control. I actually felt sorry for Asuelo as he realizes that Kalani was right about his family only wanting to see him when they want money. Based on the previews, it appears Mama isn't done badgering him for money, to the point where he breaks down. Mama Asuelo is despicable.
  12. The view of Coltee's gigantic gut and man-boobs in that Speedo have permanently damaged my eyesight. I'm hiring Jackie Chiles (Seinfeld) - "It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous, lewd, lascivious, and salacious!"
  13. I had the TV on in the background while I was working from home today, don't even know what the program was but there was a commercial that played several times for HoneyNut Cheerios with a part that said "Mmmmmmmm." I finally had to change programs, every time I heard it made my skin crawl thinking of David and his trench coat, groping and making that sound. 🤮 I'm afraid HoneyNut Cheerios has been ruined for me.
  14. When I was growing up, my dad had a hat like that. He liked wearing it when he went ice fishing. He called it his Boris hat. 😄
  15. She probably chose that coat for extra insulation from David's groping.
