  1. This is the last thing I'm going to say on this episode because of that scene, it ranks right up there 200. I do believe that Reid with be the gentleman and not pursue and pressure her. He would honorable and not want to ruin JJ's marriage. That is all on her.
  2. I am truly not excited nor curious by the ending. The lame confession tossed us into soap opera land and that is not what CM is. I groaned and rolled my eyes when she said it. I'm at a loss of words. I enjoyed the case but it did seem to be rushed. My other quibble was why didn't the judge just shoot the guy? It would be a little tough for him to kill the daughter since he was standing there with the mom.
  3. I was enjoying the episode until JJ confessed her love. Such an eye rolling and unbelievable moment. First JJ suddenly being able to beat Reid in poker and Emily who did actually beat him acting like she didn't know how to play the game, to this. I'm not looking forward to the two looking longingly at each other for the last ten episodes.
  4. I've been waiting for someone to bring this up. The moment I saw that, I knew many JJ/Reid shippers were going to jump to the conclusion that JJ was going to go way out of character and suddenly profess her undying love for Reid, a love that we have seen no hint of in the past 14 seasons. If the show was a soap opera (which it isn't) this type of plot would work just fine...lol. The producers have always said there was never going to be any romantic intrigue between any of the characters and I doubt they are suddenly going to reverse course in the final eleven episodes. Previews are intentionally misleading to draw viewers to that episode so I don't read anything into it. What really happens will be so much different than what the preview implied. If that was going to happen, then there wouldn't be pictures of Will with JJ at Dave's wedding.
  5. I concur. I find them a tad boring and a waste of time. I would rather have a case.
  6. I totally agree with that. As to seeing former characters popping up, I don't need to see that. They have a finite number of minutes to do the episode and they don't need to waste precious time on cameos. A short montage will work just fine with me. To me the focus should remain on the current team. If former characters can't contribute to the case and episode, there's no need for them.
  7. The way I would like to see it would be the team resolving the case or story arc. No one is going to die, no one is going to be maimed. After the events Dave decides it time for him to retire so he can enjoy the time with his wife. There is a small retirement party at his place. At some point the team gets called away on the new case. Each say their goodbye as they head out. Alone with his cigar, Dave thinks back fondly over the year and we see flashbacks to cases and former members. Then it all fades to black and life goes on. As to the time jump mentioned, I don't think it is going to be anything of importance. I don't think the season final is going to be a cliffhanger so the jump is probably going to cover the months from there to the beginning of the season. Sort of like the six month jump they did with Derek after he was kidnapped. I'm looking forward to it all. I've been with the show from day one, stuck with it even after Paget left and will be there for the final episode.
  8. Forgot to add that I'm not going to mourn it's passing yet. It's still here and I have 10 more episodes to look forward to next year.
  9. I was hoping that it would get a 15th season to wrap it up and I'm glad it did. Still it will be sad to see it go. It was (and will be) fifteen wonderful seasons and I was there for every episode. Thank you to everyone: the crew, the cast past and present for making this show great. You will be missed.
  10. This is how I interpreted it. One: it is too early to confirm if there will be a 15th. Season. I certainly hope it does happen. Second: they did get the backorder of five additional episodes and added to the five unaired makes the ten she mentioned. But there has been no official confirmation as of yet so we'll have to wait and see if what she tweeted is actually true. Again I'm hoping it is. I'll gladly take more episodes. Been enjoying the season.
  11. That just shows that she can be both protective and hard on an agent depending on the situation. The only thing Reid was guilty of was being stupid in the way he was getting the medicine for his mother. He wasn't running around intent to kill the man who killed his friend.
  12. As a friend just said to me there is a difference between going rogue and wanting revenge. Yes Emily went rogue, but she did that to protect the team. Luke wanted revenge. He wanted to kill the man who killed his best friend and probably would have if Matt and Emily hadn't shown up. Morgan did the same thing and there probably would have been repercussions if he hadn't chosen to retire. Though they didn't show it when Matt ran off to rescue his wife, I assumed she gave him a dressing down for disobeying her orders. So I'm not surprised and glad she gave him a tongue lashing and demoted him. It was an okay episode for me. I too would have preferred to learn more about his military history than the tiny bit at the end.
  13. Hot diggety dog! I really enjoyed that. The first episode was good, but I thought the second was even better. I love episodes with twists and turns that leave me guessing throughout. I really thought Quinn had bought into the cult at the end and I was totally wrong. Didn't expect her at all. I liked the cliffhanger. It wasn't like last years that ended with will everyone survive; this was more of a standoff that can go multiple ways. I thought it was a solid season. There were very few duds in my opinion. The team was solid and meshed well because we didn't have characters coming and going like last year. I strongly feel they will get season 14. Ratings may be down from last year, but you can't compare them since the time slot changed. It's been putting up solid numbers at 10 that are better than other shows that occupied that spot over previous years and they have an average of 100 to 133% increase in the Live+7 drv ratings. May we soon get the announcement.
  14. @Annber03 I too enjoyed both story lines in this episode and I agree with what you said. Though my impression was that Penelope had every intention of just reading the impact statement and it sort of hit her while she was standing there that she couldn't go through with it and had to speak from her heart so she wouldn't have time to discuss it in advance with Carlos. I don't think Penelope acted childish in this at all. She forgave him and that is a mature and difficult thing to do. Not a lot of people can do that. I think the season is ending on a high note and on to the final two.
  15. I'm going to keep it simple. I enjoyed the episode. I knew it had drawn me in when I didn't do anything else, but watch the episode. I don't watch it just to pick it apart because that just ruins the episode. I want to be entertained and that's what I've been getting a season except for the bump in the road with the clown one. Though we didn't get to see it, I hope Emily reamed Matt up one side and down the other for disobeying orders and running off to do it himself. Also for being dumb not to have his vest on. Onward to next week. I can't wait.
