  1. L4-S1 here. And fibromyalgia. I'm sorry you deal with this. Can you at least pay for the gym membership pre-tax thru a flexible spending account? Personally, i am waiting for a hottub to be covered. Durable medical equipment...maybe? I sooooo wish more alternative treatment modalities were covered under regular insurance.
  2. Not to be "judgy" but doesn't james have 7 siblings from his mother? And didn't he say several of them have different fathers? How can the mother teach them any differently? Kids learn by watching. Idk how many kids Kim has but both Kim & Kelsey (prbly james's mother too) were unmarried teen moms. They can say, "do as I say, not as I do." But when does that ever work?
  3. I think caelen needs to nip the insults in the bud now bc they will only get worse once the baby is actually here & both grandmas are competing for his attn. It would be horrible for a child to grow up around all that backbiting. If shelly & shannon went at it like that over a baby shower they were both welcome to attend, can you imagine how holidays & birthdays will be? I don't understand why all of them tip toe around that BS (from both but moreso Shannon). Enablers?
  4. How is this a coincidence? Or even related? Bc it's a White woman & Black man?? Really??
  5. So here is one very recent example on instagram of Molly telling ppl kensley has a genetic difference. But it's not like it's a secret. Idk much about the condition but it affects behavior.
  6. I guess the conversation about Kensley being special needs was deleted from the episode discussion. But Molly has said that Kensley has a chromosomal abnormality. Idk if shevsaid it in Double Divas or not. But she has said it on social media. Idk the name. But that is her response when ppl say she is badly behaved. I can try to find receipts. Prbly. But it's still an interesting twist.
  7. That's fine; I'm not requiring a consensus among all ppl identifying as Catholic. My point is simply that religious symbols and "decorations" are very different for some of us. It would be a dealbreaker for me, personally. And IN THEORY Luis would be well within his rights to addresss it....even if he sins in other ways. (But not as a deflection from another topic, of course.)
  8. No hair would be a big improvement!
  9. "The gays" are part of the evening's entertainment.
  10. Appropriate. (Remember, she had to show him that it was long enough to cover her genitals and butt cheeks?)
  11. Most women feel they have sense enough to decide if something is appropriate or inappropriate to wear. And he has asked about this kind of thing before.
  12. Look, I said what I said. While, I'm sorry you struggle with mental illness (sincerely), and I do empathize with kids who go thru this (my father was a serial cheater father, too), I still think Ashley's reaction on tv was disproportionately extreme. Her sister chose not to attend the dinner. And Jacob just politely expressed his disapproval. There are many ways that her disappointment could have been handled. I did, however, say I would understand Ashley's over-the-top fury more if the cheating had caused the mom to have a mental break down or had caused them to lose their home or something catastrophic (as was apparently the result in your situation). But Ashley's main complaint was that he hasn't been around in the last 4 yrs. Any assertions about cheating, whoring, gallivanting, etc., are just hearsay.
  13. This is so funny that you were able to capture his entire tirade. It's arrrrrrrrrrrrt?! For the record, I would have the same concerns with Molly's decorating. I don't think Luis is wrong about being concerned, from a Christian POV. And I am from Brooklyn, NY, not a place where voodoo is common. I'm just a regular person who is Catholic and have no roots in the Caribbean. My issue is his cherry picking sins from the Bible and his just bringing it up after 3 months living there. I can't believe that would be the first time they discussed it. Or else a lot was edited from that conversation. Maybe she called him "evil" or something and in response, he dragged her about the Buddhas and red candles. Luis is creepy and cocky but he's not crazy and nothing he's ever said was off the wall illogical.
  14. Several ppl here have figured it out. (I guess there were indications.)
  15. That's not the point. My comment is in response to someone who asked if Luis understood that he would be asked to step in as a father figure and if so, to what extent. I think he did understand that and was somewhat willing to do it but was not successful for various reasons. Luis telling her he was going to be her dad was a mistake. But hardly explains the whole situation...and doesn't mean he hates the kensley. Some special needs kids are very hard for even their own bio parents to deal with. And the parenting styles are difficult, it's almost impossible for a stepparent to develop a good bond. Cherilyn Sarkisian Bono Altmann?
  16. I don't think Kensley's father is all that involved. Molly was photographed w. him and it looked as tho they had not seen each other in years. As I said, it's a bad combination all around...and I'm citing the above as reasons I think the situation is especially challenging.
  17. Not to mention, Chris is tall and fit and good looking. A former athlete. Has a kind of distinguished look. And there's David Poor.... I'm guessing one of David Poor's businesses was providing some kind of service for one of Chris's businesses and David Poor managed to ingratiate himself to Chris.
  18. I think everyone understands that if you're marrying a woman w/ a young child, you're going to have to be involved somewhat. But when you find out the kid is a busy, mouthy little firecracker, who is picking up on the fact that no one there approves of you, then you're going to get turned off. I don't fully understand what Kensley's issue is but she does have special needs. And Luis thinks Molly's parenting style is too permissive. It's a bad combination all around. I bet if Molly had a little boy (or possibly even a girl) who was not challenged and Molly was raising him in the more old school tradition, it would be working out a lot better. No way that woman is 36!
  19. Yeah, she was too amped up for it to be simple vicarious frustration over David Poor abandoning Jacob during his teens. I can't, under any circumstances, see myself ever publicly cussing at my father & throwing drinks at him & calling him a whoremonger, etc. IMO, David Poor would have had to do A LOT worse than miss a few Christmas dinners (Hanukkah dinners?) for me to show my whole ass like that on tv. Either, she's auditioning for a spin off or there's more to the story. Did the mom have a nervous breakdown or something? Were they homeless? On welfare? Is there some laundered money stashed away somewhere?
  20. I guess Cindy didn't. But Cindy didn't do enough to shut Shannon down either, in front of Caelen, imo. It felt uncomfortable just watching it.
  21. Just saying there are all sorts of reasons - some innocent & others not. Depends on the guy. It was off white. That counts, right?
  22. Idk about White guys. But African American & Latino American guys (married & not) go to clubs. With the crew and alone. To drink, to dance, to get out of the house, to flirt, to look, to cheat, to bond w their friends, to shoot pool, to celebrate little events, many reasons.
  23. It's not rare at all for that to happen (married couples go out individually to clubs and bars).
  24. If he was smart, handsome and/or talented, he was not like David Poor! (But I suspect in another lifetime David Poor was upper middle class.) Didn't it seem at one point she was wearing her extensions and all of the hair was smooth? Then suddenly, the extensions were gone and the hair that was left was a frizzy mess?
