  1. Just some observations. This is episode 12 and I still had to go look up some of their names. I'm becoming more interested in watching a show with Nicole's dad. Chris worries me because he has this stress look on his face all the time. Even when he smiles there's the anxiety around the eyes. I'm wanting to know why. Is he naturally nervous? Did he get so hurt in the past that he's just on guard all the time to get burned? Nicole is going to question herself right out of every possible relationship. You can't spend all your time wondering. You've got to live in the moment and stop worrying. Airris.... just stop wasting everyone's time. You need a sugar mamma with big assets and a bigger bank account. Someone who'll take care of your needs and your meals. Clint has grown on me. Gina wants a hot guy who gets out of the way and lets her do her own thing. Shaq and Kirsten need to give it up. For someone who is so educated Shaq sometimes talks like he has marbles in his mouth.
  2. I'm 3/4th the way through and sadly, I don't think you've missed much. Nicole can say she's thick, Chris cannot. Gina still can't seem to work up a real emotion toward Clint. Clint got her out on the water and she seemed to have fun. Airris still seems to look at anything other than Jasmine when he's talking about sex and not being attracted to her, again. Shaq REALLY likes plants and mentoring young men. Kirsten's still not sure what's going on. This. Constantly. I was really thin my whole life until my 50's. Now I'm a "curvy girl" aka, overweight and it is WEIRD. It feels alien. But I too am always comparing myself. I'll ask my best friend when we're out, "Am I as shaped like her? Am I that big?" I just know when I look in the mirror it just looks wrong to me.
  3. Agreed. I kept hoping that he skipped the traditional kilt idea of no undies, because bend over once and he'd be sharing his world. I thought gigantic puffer coats was done a couple of years ago. They were loving that, but calling out the other designer for having a familiar, mall looking dress. It's very subjective.
  4. Did anyone else notice James' model was Phil Sullivan from ANTM S.20? He walked out, and I thought, "hey, I know him!" My age is definitely showing watching some of these designers. I understand a wild, overdone look for runway pizazz, but most of this stuff is not realistically wearable. Although in an unconventional challenge, most never are, but even last episode, they kept telling them bigger, more out there. That's fun for a photo shoot, but doesn't seem realistic.
  5. I really thought Summer was going to get that one only because Daphne seemed so flustered. There have been times it seems that Gordon favors her for some reason. I'd love to see Alex and Alejandro in the final, but the powers that be will always prefer male against female instead of talent against talent.
  6. Yes! I couldn't stop staring. Every time she'd open her eyes wide it looked like she had either a couple of really massive lashes or even more massive eyebrows. A little bit of shaping would open up her face and look less harsh. Easy for me to criitcize, sitting here with my raggedy brows, 😁
  7. The bodice shifted when she sat down, and then the tugging. Every time she moved she had to tug it up again. Poor thing. I'm pretty sure Makaley/McKinley liked it though. Every other talking head was about how he's a boob guy.
  8. Yes, on her dress! She's such a pretty girl and it looked like they didn't do any fitting at all! Take in the bodice, put in a shelf bra and cinch the waist. The boots were cute. I think that said a lot about her personality. He worries me a little. I want to believe he's in it for the right reasons, but I had the thought that he might think getting married on tv would really show the ex what she gave up. Did you know they're now "legally" married. I don't think I've ever heard Pastor Cal emphasize that so much.
  9. Agreed. That "simple" dress looked stunning, classy and expensive on her. Her mom was commenting about a power dress that said boss bitch, and I thought how funny if she came out in girly lace and then she did, lol. Her friend steered her away from that sleek dress because she's probably saving the idea for herself.
  10. He would have been ok. Brenham is about an hour 15 minutes from downtown Houston and it's off a major Hwy 290 that goes through Prairie View, TX where there's Prairie View A&M University. It's a historically black university with a mission of serving people of color and the black community. The history of it is very cool. Houston and some surrounding areas are actually very diverse. Now driving around at night in some of the small counties along Hwy 69 north east of Houston would be a bad idea for anyone.
  11. It sounds like a UK version of vocal fry. She's baking some great things.
  12. Those were disgusting! They were like hanging petri dishes. I want to know where that was so I NEVER go there.
  13. Agreed. When she was talking to her mom the morning after she started whining but it seemed her mother cut that off and started reprimanding her. It would seem her mother knows her routine and wasn't having it. That implies she's been this way for a while and although it's sad her dad passed, I don't think it's a big contributor to her bad behavior. She should be fired. If she's got all this luxury at home then why is she lowering herself to be around these commoners? After all she's a beauty queen 😂
  14. I'm with you! This is just too uncomfortable and she's putting up with way to much crap. They're either actors or production is waving big bucks around.
  15. Exactly! It came across like he was using his "religion" as a smoke screen. 'You must be imagining all these negative thoughts you're having about me because I'm a man of God' I'm sure it's not the first time someone has used their religion as a gaslighting tool, but it's the first time I've seen it. It's disgusting. I haven't even watched anything in a few days and I'm still aggravated by him.
  16. Just my own venting, but I can't stand Chris. That whole defense of saying everyone was being fake when he has to be one of the fakest human beings ever on this show. I can't tell if he just feels so privileged and superior that he thinks he's the end all be all for any woman, or if he's so insecure and scared that he just acts like a complete $h!7 as a defense mechanism. My guess would be that he thinks he's superior and that women are there to do his bidding. I keep going back to his father's creepy behavior and how Chris seems the same way. He's already got Paige acting like his mother did at that breakfast. What kind of godly/Christian people talk so tackily about sex to people they've just met, and talk down so much to everyone around them? He seriously doesn't seem very intelligent and it grates on my nerves the way he tries to sound superior. I get the impression he's been spoiled and bailed out in every situation he's been through. Nothing is ever his fault and no one ever understands, yet everyone should support him and give him respect. I think he's gaslighting Paige and dangling this man of God crap because he's trying to keep his options open in case the whole situation with the ex doesn't work out. I don't understand the ex because why would she still want this P*$ after watching him get married and sex up another woman. I don't understand Paige either. She seems like such an intelligent woman with a kind heart who would make a genuinely decent partner. My guess would be that she's sticking it out as long as she can because production keeps reminding her it's good television, the stipend and the chance of a reality, celebrity label and jobs afterward. I can't wait for Chris and his skeezy, dopey, rude self to leave my screen.
  17. Yes! That talk about when a man works all day giving he wants to come home and receive. Uh yeah dad we get it! You want your boy getting laid on the regular. Such creepy vibes from the men in that family.
  18. Hahaha! I thought of that when I posted. That's my mom in the 50's. I don't think Henry was her type, lol. I was thinking of how quiet he is. Maybe a librarian?
  19. After watching the flashback to the wedding I got the impression that Christina has never liked Henry. Throughout the wedding and reception she looked like either something smelled bad or she'd tasted something really bitter. The only real emotion was when Henry's female friends wanted to talk to her and she didn't seem to like that at all. I can't decide if she's really insecure and is so opinionated and rude as a defense or if she really just thinks that highly of herself. I get the impression that in the right crowd Henry is probably a lot of fun. Some sweet, nerdy girl who thinks the world of him might be what he needs.
  20. I'm just not feeling this season. They all seem so over being there. I wish the whole season could happen in one long live 3 hour show and get it over with.
  21. You know they're leaving that in for our benefit. She can't cry, it was the editing!, when they've got her being snarky to them. I'm actually on the Henry side. I feel like I understand his personality pretty well. My SO is not a talker. Doesn't matter if it's home or out (which isn't often because he doesn't like to be out). When he does he has a hard time looking people in the eye. For myself, I have an inner monologue going all the time, but I'm pretty quiet outwardly until I get to know others. Once I know someone and I'm comfortable then I can talk your ear off. My observation with Henry is that he's always thinking and prefers to avoid confrontation, and may live by that rule that if you don't have anything nice to say... Another poster mentioned how he was talkative with the guys. The ability is there. It's the company that's unappealing. For myself, being around ChristinA would be draining and I'd want to be alone to recharge. P.S. Henry kind of looks like a regular guys George Clooney.
  22. His response left me feeling like he wanted to make sure the door to the other woman would still be open if things on the show didn't work out.
  23. I'm only a couple of pages into reading everyone's thoughts, but I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on whether or not Henry is on the Autism spectrum. In the preview for next weeks show when they're sitting at the table talking he is visibly twitching in his face and body.
  24. Yes! Through the whole thing my heart just kept melting at how sweet everyone was.
  25. Did you catch that when he showed the matchmaker the closet he said, "this is where the magic happens"? Made me think he has a locked closet for special rendezvous'.
