  1. about those vaccines.... I just got my second Moderna shot this week. The first shot I barely had an inkling of a sore arm, but this time was different. 8 or so hours later I got the chills...no big deal, I turned on the electric mattress cover. Then I woke up in time to start the day for work and had a fever of 101.8 (I called in). I slept for 14 hours total. The rest of the day I ate soup and grilled cheese, stayed in bed and watched/slept through some history channel stuff. Let me tell you it was WONDERFUL!!!! I had a completely guilt-free lie in. If it were a weekday I may have even watched Price is Right and re-created a school sick day from (*ahem) 40 years ago.
  2. Hi guys...long time reader of this forum (and I"m a 51 year old who looks WAAAY younger than Angela or BGL if I do say so myself). I was diagnosed with Graves Disease when I was 27. My resting pulse was between 85 and 120 bpm. (Resting pulse is now between 57 and 62 on average.) My blood pressure was super high, my heart felt as though it was skipping beats, my thyroid gland looked like a huge butterfly implanted under my skin, and every single organ system from skin, to endocrine, to cardiovascular, etc was affected. My eyes didn't really bulge, but that's just my experience. If Ash really does have Grave's Disease he needs to either take radioiodine or have surgery. There's no getting over it without real medical intervention. BTW I LOVE reading all of your contributions!!!! There's a lot of greatly gifted snark talent here!
  3. ...and on a nicer note Bea, Mariano, Laurie, and Gary appear to be some of the kindest people I aspire to be like,
  4. The older I get, the bitchier and more impatient I fear I am becoming with others...but.....I would much rather wait behind a bus because of a parent trying to help his or her child continue to learn than I would be in any store (or parking lot) where parents let their children run loose screaming and underfoot.
  5. There is no way that's Nicole. Look how small that arm is.
  6. I'm not so sure it would be such a great idea to educate Pao on this. It might be better if she did NOT procreate.
  7. New here, but have been reading for the past couple of seasons (got annoyed with the 2 Ryans and quit watching for a while) and while I have no ability or background to diagnose, I am wondering if anyone else has thought to question whether Nick may have some highly functioning form of aspergers syndrome. He seems to have trouble connecting with other humans on an emotional level...he seems rather robotic, and he tends to shy away from physical HUMAN contact. I may be way off base, but was curious if others thought that he wasn't just a cold and distant dick.
