  1. Agree, the "Murphy is going to jail for life" because of the DNA evidence is beyond ridiculous. Josh actually saw Murphy the night Nia was killed, which makes him a witness to the fact that she was badly beaten, which would be both an explanation for her blood being there and also support any sort of self defense argument if indeed Murphy is the one that killed Nia. But they really have no idea which of the crew shot Nia and pinning it on Murphy seems the least likely to me given the fact that Nia was shot and Murphy is blind. In order for Murphy to have shot her she would either have to be directly in front of her (as in they were struggling for the gun) or it would have had to have been a crazy lucky shot. But this isn't even raised by Josh (who is blinded by rage) or Gene (who only really cares about taking down the Chief) or Felix's sister (supposedly really smart plus a former defense attorney) or ANYONE WITH A BRAIN. I know it's just lazy writing and not supposed to matter to us, but it bugs me so much. And I get that Josh is angry - it was one thing that she used him for information, but getting him fired was truly one of the worst things Murphy has done on this show - but he clearly did not care even a little bit when Murphy thought Jess was dead, about Murphy's feelings or even about Jess being dead. If the show wants me to hate Josh and think of him as the enemy, it's working. But I don't know that I find his single-minded thirst for revenge that believable based on the guy we previously got to know. He wants her to go to jail for life for killing Nia? Putting aside that she didn't kill Nia, Nia was a drug lord who ordered the deaths of countless people. It's not like he cares about justice for Nia, just punishing Murphy.
  2. I'm a little confused by the timing. When Wynonna first learns she's pregnant, she can't be more than 3 months pregnant, 4 TOPS, right? And I thought it was stated somewhere that a month was lost when the time guy put everyone to sleep for the sisters. But then in this episode, Wynonna is a few weeks from giving birth. So did they just skip ahead 4 months? Was that mentioned and I missed it? I suppose it would explain Doc being in an actual relationship with Rosita and Dolls & Wynonna cuddling in bed, but I felt like I had missed an episode or at least a scene that would have explained where everyone was at suddenly. Also, there is no way they are going to have a baby on this show, I hope. And they aren't going to do anything super tragic, either, so the baby must be supernatural in some way where it won't really be Wynonna's baby or it'll age really fast or something, right?
  3. I was actually really happy Haley said what she said to Elijah because I've found it harder and harder to root for the Mikaelson's. They use the excuse of their "bonds" to do all kinds of terrible, reprehensible things and show very little remorse, if any, for the people whose lives they destroy. It becomes a bit boring to watch a show where there's no character growth. If anything, Elijah seems to have regressed and become less human. And I used to like Freya, but her behavior the last couple episodes was straight up disgusting. Kidnapping and torturing another person for any reason is not ok. It was one thing when it was a matter of life and death, but then to keep the person because she might need her in the future? When you're a witch and can do a locator spell? And now her and the werewolf will probably get together, which I would have loved to see had the story unfolded in a different way, but now I feel like I'm basically saying "yay for Stockholm syndrome" if I like them together. I get that I'm watching a show about original vampires who feed on people, but I feel like Klaus used to be the only one who was 90% monster; the others at least tried to be decent. These days I find myself rooting for the good guys: Marcel and Vincent. And Josh.... always Josh. More Josh!
  4. Word. Ross was pretty much the worst in that scene with Elizabeth. After all that he & Demelza have been through, it felt like a huge betrayal. I was hoping that she was going to confront him (hopefully by quoting his "scullery maid" comment back to him) when they spoke afterwards.
  5. I actually was really hoping both Susan and Rose would be killed this season, or at least exited from the show. This show has a hard time with creating likable female characters. I did not want to see Drake dead at all. But I just can't tell at all what next season will look like with all our main protagonists no longer cops?
