I just figured he was being a typical rather religious man and was just more concerned with it happening to his son because son's are more important. You could be right too though....I was kinda sold on Lauren's reaction at the Tourettes place. I find it plausible because she don't seem like a very curious person

To be fair I googled this and it looks like study proving that it's hereditary isn't from that long ago, so maybe that's what they told them when Loren was younger and they never researched it further. Her reaction did seem genuine to me, come on....she's not a good actor no one on this show is. And Alexi's reaction definitely was real

I don't think it was about Jessa's behaviour that night in particular but more so the culmination of her terrible, self involved behaviour throughout the series.

I go back and forth...at least this way she feel like she got some of her stuff and had some control. I feel like escorting her off premise for the duration would have also been extremely traumatic...perhaps more traumatic.
