  1. Jeopardy Overheard also explains Cris' hesitation answering...basically he says he's sometimes still thinking of his answer, and sometimes making sure he doesn't answer something stupid 🙂
  2. Anybody else here that watched You're the Worst? I recognized Aya Cash right away but it took me til this last episode to realize the other editor was Desmin Borges!
  3. What made me happiest was that Ken pronounced Louisville (CO) correctly! Although I'm sure he was advised...
  4. All I can hear is MONORAIL! (tm Simpsons)
  5. Thanks for posting the medal ceremony video! And I also liked the sleeve saying "USA" but the coolest part was that they designed it so it looks the same either direction! (spouse had just said good thing they didn't print it upside down, that's when we noticed)
  6. I loved the Kids in the Hall reunion though!
  7. I hate to be THAT person, but Mikes hard lemonade wasn’t out until 1999...so I guess 1990-something could be 1999? It did take me out of the episode because I had to google it 😀And I agree the ending couple was sweet.
  8. Born in 1960 here, and in our class of 40 kids 3 of us girls named Robin! My mom said they didn't even have a name picked out for me until after I was born. Maybe back then they didn't know ahead of time whether they were having boys or girls? And the Colorforms above, I totally had that!! I was so excited to see it, thank you for posting, lucindabelle! Oh and my first crush was Davy Jones...sigh.
  9. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! DisneyBoy, that's interesting about the slate clearing. Hopefully that never happens again. And to tell you the truth, it took me awhile to even know that Roman was here, not only because it's a different actor (I remember from GH) but he is such a sideline character. And am I wrong, or is he just oblivious to everything that's going on? From what I remember, he was the smartest and most level-headed person on the show. I really didn't like when they switched actors and did the whole John Black back and forth.
  10. So I've been away from DOOL for years (decades, even!), when I watched it was super couples Jen/Jack, Hope/Bo, Patch/Kayla. I recently retired and since I'm home while the show is on I actually accidentally caught a few minutes here and there. I just wanted to say that I love the fact that there is a gay love triangle, and it's handled pretty much like any other triangle (ridiculously, but still!) And the comments here are the same for them as all other characters. It actually makes me feel good about how the world is changing as far as acceptance when gay characters can be just as jerky as other characters, and people feel free to criticize them for their personality instead of their sexuality. I hope that doesn't sound stupid...However, I do not like the fact that there is STILL Marlena crises galore! At least now I have a DVR and FF :) Off to read other threads to find out what's happened in the last 20 years!
  11. I've been bingeing on these lately and having a good time reading the posts! I keep getting confused when reading here because so many of the episodes have names of other TV shows...Person of Interest, the Good Doctor, etc. I guess I don't have a point, I just wanted to contribute! Oh and I also hate Nicole, LOL.
  12. Binge-ing the last 2 days, spotted the same actress on Beast as a nurse (quick role) and then as Malcolm McDowells wife in Proud Flesh. Cindy Cheung. Looks like (of course) she hit the other 2 series as well!
  13. Prairiemakeup, it's called Noel: Christmas Eve 1913. I squeed when the opening notes started playing! I don't know if it's on any other albums but I have it on the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas together album. Fabulous!
  14. Speaking of proverbs, I've never noticed this before but in the autopsy room were Latin (?) words on the wall...I looked it up and it translates to "Let conversation cease, let laughter flee. This is the place where death delights to help the living". Apparently it's pretty standard in Western autopsy rooms. I bet others noticed this before but it made me go running for Google!
