  1. Viv is a total teevee 'therapist'. Everyone can read Haley's disdain for Jake but her, who tells them to start kissing. Kissing even just hello/goodbye etc. is such a stupid thing to tell them to do. Jake knows Haley can't stand him. Now he's in a position to push physical stuff, because of the 'therapist's advice'. This all could have been avoided if Haley had been honest & said she does not want to try, but she's being completely dishonest.
  2. This show is so staged but I get it, real life is mostly boring. All the pregnancy talk has been a bit of a yawn for me. I think Ashley & Anthony are the most entertaining. Anthony trying to dodge Mila made me actually LOL. Felt bad when she was upset but then their daddy/daughter cookie date was very cute. Anthony is genuinely funny with a good sense of humor. Ashley is more serious but they balance each other well - and they make cute babies. They've definitely become my favorite couple. I think Greg & Deonna are great together; I just don't find them that interesting, yet. I don't find Jamie/Beth entertaining, & still don't believe they ever had COVID, or if they did, it wasn't a big deal for them. I'd never seen two healthier looking people whining about feeling so sick, & Jamie still could not stop smirking. FWIW though, I don't think they're living off her father. IT pays well & I think she's doing 'the influencer' thing, which, since she's on TV, probably isn't bad either. Keith & Kristine are cute together but boring- love his grandma though. I am curious to see how their kitchen turns out, someday. 😏 I still find Shawniece & Jephte uncomfortable to watch, but Laura is really cute. I wonder what happened to Keke though; haven't seen her in a bit. I don't find the rest entertaining at all, so are mostly background noise.
  3. Oh Cal has been there. He hasn't done or said anything helpful that I can recall, but he's been there. They might all be better off figuring it out on their own.
  4. They both know this by now & I'm hoping they'll end it early, but, doubt it.
  5. It's not necessarily a bad thing, IF they were a real couple who had love (or even like) between them. But since she's really just trying to find him attractive by dressing him differently, it was not a good move. She can change his clothes but he'll still be Jake. He was good about it, though. She admitted she was drunk & thought "why not? I'm married to the guy." I have no comment on that; just repeating what she said. Totally agree. But every season the ones who want to wait are usually criticized for holding out to get to know their spouse first, which is also what I think they should do. Ryan may be a different story though, if it's been a one-way street with them.
  6. Oh, um... wow. 😬 I think these were chose specifically for this show because of their issues. Well, should be 'interesting', I guess.
  7. People get together all the time who have issues, but, they choose each other. It could be a disaster, or not I guess, but people with issues thrown together in this type of situation is a recipe for disaster. How many people who sign up for this won't have issues though...
  8. Wasn't she single for a long time afterward? I can't recall. Jake had women use him, which he admitted to being a trigger when he got upset with Haley. They both probably needed more time on their own & not this show.
  9. Perhaps I've forgotten - can someone please enlighten me as to what problems (other than not connecting) were happening between Jake & Haley BEFORE she deliberately did not invite him downstairs while the group was together? He had to go down to get food & found them & they scattered like ants; bunch of shits IMO, Haley #1 shit. Then after that there was an encounter with accusations, etc, which he apologized for, but that was *after*. But if there was something he did to her that was really bad BEFORE this incident, I'd really like to know because maybe I missed it. Again, nothing about him being 'boring' or 'weird', because if that was the only thing provoking her assholery she (& the group apparently) need to grow up.
  10. Not sure about all of them on that. But once there, she should've realized she was the only one w/o & at least given him the option to come down & join them. We'll have to agree to disagree on these two because I don't see anything about Jake that has been abusive - he's been over the edge but he's apologized. She's hurt his feelings & continues to jerk him around- no apologies, & doesn't care; gets mad if called out for it. Kinda borderline on her behavior though... JMO. But having watched this show for years I am open to the fact that things can change, & then we'll see what happens! 😬
  11. She's the only one who didn't invite her husband. It's their honeymoon, everyone else was with their spouse, & it's just common courtesy to give him the option of attending. I don't think there were any big issues with them prior to this. Awkward silences are a bit suspicious on this show, but maybe; or maybe editing. We just don't know for sure. Still what she did was rude, & made whatever issues they may have already had, worse. I agree he's been reactive & not handled it well. I give him some points for wanting to figure it out, but, why bother TBH. He should have presented it as a 'how it made him feel' type of thing- & calmly. But if it were me I wouldn't have bothered & just left for home at that point. It would've hurt me as well; I get it. Like I said he should've handled it differently. But I don't think what he did was that bad either. It was a mistake he made because he was hurt, which he apologized for, but she didn't care & never apologized even it was just a misunderstanding. He's gotten nothing from her on it except self-righteous indignation & defensiveness. Jake & Haley are such a divisive couple this season, unfortunately.
  12. I'd be done too. And I wonder had he done this to her, with no explanation, no apology of even how it looked or made her feel, how that would go over with people. Haley doesn't want him but jerks him around to play up to production, then shoots those mean dagger eyes at him with her mouth so tight I thought she'd crack, every time he either has any hope or tries to have a truthful conversation with her. Jake's reactivity sucks - I totally agree. But I doubt I'd be behaving too well under those circumstances with a person like her either, unfortunately. And it looks worse on camera, especially since there's editing at play. In a smaller way it kind of reminds me of Nate & Sheila. She came off unhinged but was really hurt over his cheating. He just stood there like "Whuut?" most of the time. It was awful, & so is this J&H dynamic.
  13. I don't follow SM, but have read things about her posts. Over-sharer seems like an understatement. Jamie can give birth & be near naked online all she wants, but talking about her kid's private parts on SM is child abuse. She needs a therapist, not SM. ETA: That also shows how far reaching posts SM are - people don't have to follow them to hear about what they're posting. It ends up everywhere.
  14. I’m speaking of the hateful looks she’s given Jake whenever he’s either calling her out on her own BS behavior or trying to find a way to please her & the smug nasty face when he apologized- something she’s never done as she doesn’t care if she hurts him. He’s definitely wondering why he was stuck with her too because she’s the opposite of a few things he’s mentioned he asked for - they both realize they are the joke couple this season. Neither is handling it well but IMO she’s not a nice person.
  15. That's a very good idea, except I think they barely have enough people to choose one for each.
  16. He does have a right to be angry, but I was clear he needs to just get out instead of becoming more resentful toward her. She's a dud too, & has a mean, ugly sourpuss face. Neither are attractive IMO, but Jake cleaned up better on Unfiltered. I don't know if he weight lifts anymore; seemed in the past for him. Haley's a fake & has no problem being a fake. He's done with the game but has to play it out. They both need to cut strings & run.
  17. I think he's rightfully angry & needs to leave this nonsense behind now. They only show what they want us to see to create a narrative. So we've seen him talk about himself - a lot. We've seen Haley sit there & act like she's in pain just looking at him. He tried to start discussions & I see a strong 'need to one-up condescending' vibe from Haley towards Jake. They've also shown him apologizing & agreeing to leave his interests, etc. behind, for someone who doesn't even like him. He's hosted a bunch of snobs at his home & endured nastiness toward his dogs. He shouldn't be playing along anymore as it's only going to get worse for him. He'll get more resentful & dig a bigger hole for himself releasing it in passive-aggressive ways. Haley will string him along & enjoy watching him implode. On another note, I hate this season TBH, & not even sure I can ride it out anymore.
  18. Jacob is not for everyone, that's for sure. But we never did get an explanation of why Haley did not call Jake to let him know others arrived at their little honeymoon gathering - rather, she left him up in the room by himself believing she was having "a girls' night". That is deception, & I would not trust her either after that. The others were shitty as well, scattering away & not explaining why on Unfiltered either. If the guy has a dark side then I understand everyone steering clear, but, I would think production would love to hear about it & be using it by now. Maybe we'll get a bombshell soon on him. But for now, I'm not seeing any justification for their behavior. If I were Jake I would've bolted from this immature BS by now.
  19. He definitely wouldn't, nor would they as he & the rest are just too different. Where we are right now it looks to me like even with all his quirks Jake is the adult in the room this season. He knows who he is & is comfortable with it. He's in this for the right reasons since he's going along with every BS request made of him (give up his interests, wear different clothes, have a production inspired 'pool party' so the gurls could make fun of his house & dogs). He's older than everyone, & that may be part of the issue since the others seem a bit stunted.
  20. I'm still waiting to see what's wrong with this guy besides his 80's thing, which with the right person - & OFF teevee - would probably be downplayed more in his life. It seems from Unfiltered that the women don't like him, maybe because they're all good friends with Haley, but both Paige & Brianna had obvious attitudes toward him there (haven't noticed too much with Clara yet). Paige is no Christian - she's a paid 'actor' or just a bitch. First off & most important her story line is offensive to women. Also, she couldn't get far enough away from Jake when they were on together on the Unfiltered but she's okay having sex with someone like Chris. Yeah, no, GTFO. Then she's at Jake's home & felt it was okay to make fun of his dogs. Someone else did with her I think but she was the worst laughing at them. Jake was very patient but I'd want them all to GTFO of my home & life. Maybe he did call them out on it that's why they don't like him. Might be an UO but I find the women this season (yes including Brianna who has also shown attitude toward Jake & who knows why, with her man-baby Vinny she has to feel superior to while she tortures him with that obnoxious baby voice) to be a bunch of mean gurls. (again, maybe not Clara; haven't seen enough yet) ETA: I don’t like the men either except for Jake until I find out what heinous thing he’s done to deserve their ire
  21. Jake would've been happier about the shirts if they were from a woman who really liked & cared about him. Haley wants to make him more acceptable for her. She wasn't putting anything over on him as his expression said it all. He knew & I felt sad for him, because she's already told him she's not attracted, now she's trying to change him to fix that, which won't work. I think Jake wants to be set free but Haley is trying to 'play the show' out.
  22. Vinny was hot, sweaty, uncomfortable, & cranky. The producers have recycled Dallas Dave.
