  1. I thought that Murphy did the whole Z Jesus thing as a diversion, having finally come somewhat to his senses, and realized that his group was about to die at the hands of the crazy preacher. It seemed like he was still sussing out how much power he has over the zombies. I thought the silly fingers in the mouth thing was actually quite well done, with just the right amount of humor and tension. I was shocked that Charlie got killed. But I am now intrigued about who will step up to lead, how Murphy is changing (he also seemed to be more human at the end too), what is going on with the girl with the spiked bat and her PTSD or whatever that is she's going through. I think the show is getting better each episode.
  2. I'm a Blais lover too. I don't know what exactly it is about him but I've liked him from that first season, quirks, neuroses, hurl-faces and all. I'd almost gotten over him but then he had to go and pop up on "Duels" vs Marcel of all people. When he sees Marcel and says, "I see it's the battle of good vs evil", well, he had me again. He's baaaaaaack. I was delighted to see him. I like Joy. I like the Mexican-Japanese kosher taco truck guy. I hate the sour puss faced guy who was so hautily dismissive of the woman chef who'd won some obscure cooking title.
  3. Oh my god . Kail was so rude at Jo and Vee's. She just barged right on in. Battering rams her way in with the baby carrier, grabs Isaac and demands to see his room, leaving her poor husband to introduce himself at the door. Jeez. But I too looked for flying pigs when she apologised for being an asshole. I thought she actually looked sincere. It was quite nice to see them all acting like mature people.
  4. Her sisters name is Bella Bluray. Hee. Watching the mother and father go at it about how Asia's career is bad for the family is too fishbowly for my comfort. I already feel sorry for little Bluray.
  5. So this is where Fiona's boyfriend, Steve Jimmy Jack, has been! I swear, Scott looks like Justin Chatwin. For that alone I wouldn't mind him for the win. And it seems he is a capable chef and far better equipped to deal sensibly with all the people in the business he's going to be around. Jason is a big blustery asshole and I can't imagine working with, or for, him.
  6. I noticed that Simon was eating with his father. I kept thinking he was going to violently yak it up but he didn't. Perhaps the early treatments let the PDSers take food, although why that ability would be removed I don't know. I'm still wondering how they process lamb brains. I really like the Amy/Philip storyline. When she told him she was dying (again), I was afraid that he would kill himself so he could come back and be with her. I love this show. Great acting and such fun ponderables.
