I actually went to a book signing for this book years ago! I have no idea what ever happened to my signed copy. I really enjoyed this. When I heard that HGTV had bought the Brady house, I assumed they were going to "update" it, not recreate it. It's much more fun that they are recreating it. I noticed one thing they were missing (which would have been relatively easy to find, I would think) was the green phone on the table next to the sofa.

Tim is going to be a guest on Bill Maher's show tonight. Somehow I can't picture him in that venue, but I am interested to hear what he has to say.

I think they shot this in May/June - the oyster roast thing actually bothered me because in SC people don't have oyster roasts in warm weather months (rule of thumb: only months with a letter 'R' in them). Guess they wanted to include oysters in some way, though.

Yes! I think THC was really badly mis-cast in this. I cannot see the two of them together at all, at any point in their lives. Someone like Alec Baldwin would have been a much better choice - could have played for humor but also would have come across as a person who at least was attractive/interesting once. I was really excited for this show and so far have been disappointed.

I have been thinking this all season - in past seasons the contestants had a lot of challenges away from the soundstage - food trucks, festivals, markets, etc.
