  1. The episode threads don't seem to have any restrictions about discussing BB though. I get that this is a prequel to BB and characters may appear in both shows but I'd be more interested in the discussion if it didn't revolve around the first show.
  2. Just a general question for the mods, are the BCS threads allowed to be full of talk about BB? I enjoyed that and this show but I'd rather not hear about BB in every episode thread especially since its not going to be about the main 2 characters in the first show.
  3. I generally love this show, but I don't buy the ending. If Sergei is out for some kind of revenge he had Gibbs in his hideout and presumably knocked out. Why not kill him then. He just killed 3 of your guys and now I'm supposed to buy that he wants Gibbs to suffer more?
  4. Or maybe they didn't want to film that segment without everyone participating. Missy wouldn't have been able to do it.
  5. Once it went to three I had no doubt Natalie would win, but for a second I thought she screwed up when she went into her FTC speech before they voted Keith off. Reed's speech kind of pissed me off. I felt like he was going for his big Sue Hawk moment. For two guys that said they were connoisseurs of the game, how did they both end up voting for Jacqueline? Nat far and away was the best player left.
  6. I literally LOL'd when the director told Lizzy that Bethesda had the best neurologists. All she him was that Resler was "hurt".
  7. TPTB just had a chance to have one of the most memorable moments in TAR history by taking the Save from a team facing elimination in a NEL leg, waiting a second, telling them they are not going to be eliminated, then saying they didn't have to use it and they didn't do that?! WTF! No wonder this show has ended up on Friday.
  8. I guess they just announced the show will be back for a 6 episode final season around November 4th. Seems too short.
  9. Westeros doesn't strike me as the kind of place preservatives are used. I can only imagine the Hound's expression if Brienne had held up a mold covered Chia pet.
  10. That isn't a, "proper northern drink".
  11. You'd think it would take every living man left at Castle Black to build a bonfire big enough to burn the two giant's corpses before nightfall. The thought of Mag the Mighty coming back as a wight is pretty frightening. What did John Snow think they were giving him to drink? It obviously looked like milk, then he says, "that's not wine". No...really? When have you ever seen milk wine? Count me as someone who's not all that interested in the supernatural storyline about Bran. I've heard people say that it's the most important, but I've enjoyed the past 4 seasons with limited plot about the whitewalkers, wights, etc. I hope if that continues to develop it doesn't overshadow the plot lines I find more interesting like what's going on in Kings Landing, the Erye, Bravos and wherever Tyrion goes. Hard to understand why Arya would just run around at the Bloody Gate when they could have been fed and had a decent place to sleep. It was her mother's sister's castle and all.
  12. I'm not great at math and all but didn't they say last episode there was something like 102 Blackwatch left? So, who's left? 6 died killing that big, giant dude and ygrette harpooned a dozen or so. I thought this was a week episode for a short season. I expected a lot more. Move the plot along.
  13. I wish I didn't have to see Parvati every season. She's one of my least favorite players of the game and now she's managed to parlay her game into a yearly reality show paycheck. I'm watching the finale again tonight. What a disappointment the end of this season was. A Kass/Woo finale would have been really close I think. I did like they went to a final 2 though.
  14. A terrible season from the start with the whole Bopper fiasco all the way to the end where three of my least liked teams of any season managed to get in a weak final. There were so many things I didn't like about this season it's going to take TPTB a lot for me to want to watch another season if they roll out a poor product again for 25.
  15. This season has had some pretty spectacular episodes. It's unfortunate that TPTB felt the need to have this special idol which effectively pissed me off more than it added to the game. The ones i havent liked were the previous several episodes with Tony being smug that he had not only it but the HII as well. Peaches shouldn't let him ruin the game by pretending it still works past 4. No one should ever have this much power in the game. Tonight was fun. One of the more entertaining TC I can remember. Tony came out looking like a tool not using his HII to save his most loyal alliance member. Watching Trish was making me ill. I'm glad she's out and can eat again. Spencer is the only one I want to win now. We've heard Woo talk about a big move and he finally made one but he's been coat tailing the whole game. Kass has actually played, I don't want her to win but she makes great tv. Tony can go to hell.
  16. This show is seriously hilarious. That last scene with the garage door at Hooli I was laughing so hard I woke my kid up.
  17. Of all the activities that have gone on at Craster's Keep, I don't remember this hearing as much discussion about Craster, incest or that he gave his infant children to the white walkers as we do about 1 scene in last night's episode. I think it's safe to assume those women have had a hard life.
  18. TPTB can take their idol with "special powers" and shove it up their ass. That is a ridiculous amount of power to give one player and totally could decide the final 3 or 4. I haven't been this mad about a twist in the game since RI. Tony makes me want to projectile vomit.
  19. Well, since Lysa is technically Sansa's aunt that would make Littlefinger even more creepy if he marries Lysa and wants to be with Sansa.
  20. Sure Tom, you're the good guy. He killed what? 2 people and masqueraded as Lizzy's husband for 2 years. I don't know why they really included the story about the Chinese germ scientist other than a plot point to get the brothers available to kidnap Tom.
  21. Littlefinger seems to always be always angling for some way to improve his position, there's always a reason for what he does. Coming up with the plan to kill Joeffrey himself and framing Tyrion doesn't fit in that strategy I don't think. But, if the Terrells or Tywin offered him some way to improve his standing, that I could see happening. I don't see how Sansa fits into all this yet, the Lannisters offered him Lysa Arryn as a wife already and Sansa is already married. So, why would he want her? I can only assume it's because she has a claim on Winterfell. Anyway, whoever did it offered him something. His reason for being is power. I think Varys said something along the lines of "he would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes".
  22. I forgot to mention that Jamie also killed his cousin Alton Lannister when he was escaping being a captive of Rob Stark in Season 2. IMO the show had to bring the audience back to the reality of him being an evil Lannister. That season and a half of him working his way back to Kings Landing with Brienne, getting his hand cut off and not being the "Kingslayer" he once was managed to get a lot of fans to actually like him. All the discussion about whether it was rape or not is more of a side conversation IMO, the scene worked, those that thought he forced himself on Cercie don't like Jamie anymore.
  23. Re: The Cercei/Jaime scene. I think this episode was ment to remind the audience that these are bad people. We saw it with these two and with the Hound/Arya. As a plot element I thought the scene worked. People were starting to like Jaime, swooning over him and Brienne, forgetting that he paralyzed Bran, had been sleeping with his sister for years and spawned Joeffrey. Fans seem to be reminded why they don't like him now. Which, is what I thought the point was.
  24. He may have had no choice, but the editing suggested he was following along with anything Tony said. Tony obviously had it out for LJ but they only needed one more vote to swing the outcome that took LJ out. Spencer could have been that vote. Regardless, I don't see a whole lot of strategic play by Spencer or Woo. That could change if Spencer uses the idol to make a move though.
  25. And, if you go back and watch the episode in Season 4 or 5 where Barney and Marshall find Lilly's doppleganger at a strip club they've used nearly the same ending before. Marshall tells Barney he has to imagine Lilly dead before he could fantasize about another woman so he develops a backstory in his dreams where Lilly dies, he waits an appropriate amount of time and then makes out with the UPS woman. Barney has always been this character from nearly the beginning of the show. In nearly every episode he hits on someone. "The Playbook" happened early in season 5 if I remember right, but even before then I can't remember an episode where they all were at McClarins where he didn't hit on a woman. I never really bought the Barney/Robin love story, which is why I hated that it took up all of Season 9. When they broke up the first time, in that episode with Robin Thick, Lilly trying to break them up and Barney in a fat suit, it was obvious they didn't work.
