I knew it was the coach because the actor was Detective Fusco on Person of Interest (not a one minor scene actor). Why would you want to shoot a college basketball star doing PR in a bar with dozens of people taking selfies with your picture on it? Very bad plan unless the coach was expecting the perp to get arrested or shot while committing the crime so coach would not have to share the money. There have always been tons of rising stars that either had injuries on/off the court or drugs/gangbanging that kept them from making any money in the sport with no fallback. Most are not very bright to begin with. College coaches not in Division 1 make crap for salary.

In real life rich Scola would just have paid for another doctor, one to take care of his girlfriend, and the other to watch over the baby (maybe he did in between scenes). Do judges have their own bathroom in their chambers? Just wondering if the nutcase was waiting for the Judge to go eat or use the restroom to grab him since he only had an ice pick (how did he sneak that in through a metal detector) as a weapon and courts are full of police with guns and bailiffs are like judges personal security in courthouses. There was a cop at the door watching the metal detectors and he had his gun stolen and he was shot. Even FBI get personal time in emergencies.

The paid off DA just made the courts job so much harder now that they have to go over all the cases he might have tampered with. Once you take a bribe it becomes the norm. For every major conspiracy where people are murdered and rich people cover it up there are probably hundreds of mundane shootings, stabbings, and lethal fistfights over stupid shit in the 21 and under crowd.

More likely the child would die at highway speeds crash then one on a turnoff side street. This is a drama, so they planted the seeds of their problems for next season during the finale. Will Carlos join the Texas Rangers and avenge his father's death, how will that play out with his new husband TK. How long before Judd goes back to being a firefighter or gets divorced over being a stay home caregiver. Owen killed his brother so that will bother him all season, will his brother's family find out and cause issues both emotional and legal. Basically, they used the wedding to end one chapter and the other issues to begin the next. A lot of people complain about both 9.1.1.'s turning into relationship soap operas, but you have to understand these are older shows with huge budgets and soap operas stuff is cheap to film and keeps women watching.

Buck was a close friend and a co worker in a profession where you need to have each others back in life or death situations not some guy you worked with at Taco Ball for a few months. I don't think Chim ever lied to Maddie or played games with her, on the other hand I think Maddie treats Chim like shit.

Sometimes it takes half a season for actors and writers to give their characters life. We had a Valedictorian back in my highschool days, and just one. I think with extra credit being applied for just breathing and showing up most of the time there were many tied for the position and eventually the few lower ranked students bitched enough to get the award ditched all together. In real the life the teacher who wanted Hank removed as chair would be the one getting axed for budget cut reasons now that Hank has it position back again for 3 more years.

I call bullshit on any manufacturing going on 20 years after the event took place. Sure, any factory that made bullets might still be standing, but all the key ingredients would have been mined and made elsewhere (most likely other areas of the country or overseas) and shipped in using JIT (just in time) ordering, so you don't have massive stockpiles sitting around. Spare parts to keep things running would be non-existent along with people trained on maintaining and running the line. Most factories are robotic using a shitload of power which no longer exists plus the workers are HIGHLY specialized. Most factories have low educated line workers who do the grunt work of moving and packaging stuff while QC people monitor the line and have specialists come in to fix things as needed. If that infection really happened, you would have rationing from day three followed by massive starvation and die off. Every facet of modern living would be gone, and survivors would be limited to small groups far apart from each other growing what they can to survive while dying very young from everything we don't even think about today (try Africa during famine and disease but with no outside help at all).

We are talking dating apps not real life interaction. If you don't look 6 foot tall AND dress like you are rich and influential women (younger ones at least) will not give you a second look. When women get 35-40+ years old their options are much smaller and they either get less picky or quit looking. Men will not date a woman they don't find attractive period. But what men find attractive is a very very broad range and even if they find faults in some areas, they do not seem to be a deal breaker most of the time. Having said that if you are a man with crazy money and fame you tend to be VERY picky about women's look and age because of the selection you tend to have.

Gasoline is a mixture of hydrocarbons some more volatile than others so the more volatile stuff will either vent out or oxidize when exposed to air. Gas made with ethanol is much worse since that stuff is weaker per gallon of fuel and also sucks in water from the air which is bad for combustion. If you want to be realistic you would have a hard time finding a running vehicle that has been mostly sitting for 20 years even on a dealer lot unused (leaking seals, bad tires, electrical components that just quit working, gummed up oil, etc.) even if you had fresh fuel. Having said that it would be cool seeing vehicles that were converted to run on coal or wood gasses like the Germans used in WW2 (simple technology with easy to source fuel). While wood fired cars would be low powered it's not like you would be running at autobahn speeds on unkept roads full of derelict cars and other obstructions anyway.

The problem with dating apps is that all women tend to think 80% of men are ugly and end up fighting over the other 20% who can be picky and non committal because they have endless choices. Men are much less picky in dating (especially status) and tend to marry those in front of them when they feel it's time to start a family. Porn and politics are kind of the same because they tend to get crazier every year trying to get attention. All you hear about in the media are the 5% far far right and far far left viewpoints and not the people in the middle most people agree with. You have to outdo yourself with more crazy ideas just to be heard.

I think FEDRA was going to shit after 20 years anyway, and that's why the resistance was able to take over. If you look at history great men who brought change without major bloodshed end up killed or sidelines by those who only want revenge and end up screwing everything up to get it. FEDRA was like modern law where anyone trying to topple law and order ends up jailed or dead because of the rules but the rest of the population has order and goes on, while the resistance seemed to be like tribal law where families get revenge that goes back and forth till society crumbles, and everyone is dead.
