  1. Sorry, I think you called it wrong, sadly. At the end of the last episode, she's walking down the aisle even after Mr. NFL specifically told them he wasn't attracted to her. This is going to be a short lived marriage, unfortunately. Hope not but for her sake, hope so!
  2. Oh hon, you're not alone. I have a few issues myself. I will feel that rage if somebody scrapes their plate (sounds like chalkboard) or licks their knife. My kids were all taught not to do these things. If there are others present and aren't aware and do these noises, I'll just get up, go to the washroom or busy myself by starting the cleanup if we're at home. I don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable because of my issues and it's way too difficult to explain. I find that if I'm particularly anxious or nervous, it's worse. If it gets that bad, I don't eat. I busy myself by serving my guests, cleaning up, getting desert ready, etc. They all tell me to sit! Sit! But, my dear husband runs interference and tells the guests "oh, don't worry, she probably sampled the food before you arrived and therefore, she's not hungry but we just love having you here!"... such a sweetheart. These things are real and we're not laughing at her issues, we're laughing at the absurdity that she thinks she can find a man who won't have any! We all have something. My mom used to leave the room if someone scraped their teeth on a fork! She once threw her spoon at me when I did it! I was a kid, didn't know but she explained it was a knee-jerk reaction and I never did it again. Thing is, my dad didn't leave her nor did your husband leave you! He loves you enough to try to reduce the pain it causes you and as a family, you've been working on it together. Right? Do you see my point here? MissWomanChild demands that a perfect man be brought to her and that's just not going to happen. It's from dating, getting to know each other's issues/problems/conditions/faults etc. that you fall in love, in spite or because, of those particularities that makes us all human and different. Your husband and family have worked together because he loves you that much! I'm sure he has a few things you put up with but this comes from thoughtful negotiations and discussions with time. So, explain to me, what time does this poor guy have to learn and adjust to her condition? None. He's going to meet her at the altar. I just can't see it working out if her condition is that severe. He'll spend this marriage walking on eggshells as to not set her off because he doesn't know. Until you're faced with this issue, you just don't know. I'm using the words 'condition', 'issue', etc as I don't know the actual medical term. I'm not trying to offend anyone but I do know how painful it can be. Also, the 'nutbag and immaturity' comment about her is due to the fact that money and looks are #1 & 2..... character, maturity, kindness... those qualities don't matter :(
  3. It seems your thought process is working like mine! Call me! "immaturity" lol!!
  4. MissLola16! You're awesome and no, one meeting and bang! Marriage! I was wondering the same thing! Lol
  5. Sorry TeapotWakeen.... but I did tell you I had to stop. Listing her "issues" would have taken me all day! Frikken nutbag! Seriously! This is her list of admirable qualities she's looking in a husband? Must have: huge motherf' wallet, lets her quit being a productive member of society, must not make any bodily noises, must not chew, twitch, and must put up with her OCD food issues. Look, I've been around the block a few times and everyone has their particular/peculiar habits, I get it BUT if his s*** has to smell like roses, if he's allowed to do that, now we know why she's single. Another thing... why are these marriage-seekers considering this their only option? Mr. NFL is only 26? I guess this would explain your comment about "kids growing out of that phase". I'd understand if this was part of your culture ex)arranged marriages. I'd understand a lot of situations that they'd seek this arrangement but it seems, to me, like they don't want to take responsibility if their marriage tanks. All spoiled brats who can just blame their parents' choice of a spouse. That's the only reason I see with THIS year's bunch. Last year, with Christina, she trusted her parents, the process and wanted a fairytale. She said she would follow through no matter what and she has kept her promise and is very happily married. She took it seriously and God bless them but with the 3 players introduced so far... ?
  6. Sorry, I just puked a little... What MAN speaks about women like that? "I'm tired of waking up next to women whose names I don't know", "Should I tell her I f'd the wedding planner?", and the best one yet, "I hope my wife is GOOD enough to MAKE ME want to stay monogamous". Oboi... I think Mr. NFL is just concerned about himself and who will be good enough for him to deposit from his vas deferens more than twice in a row! (Btw, can't find any evidence he played pro football, college yes, pro, no). All his friends are doubtful and one said "He's always with a different girl so I don't bother learning their name as they're never with him twice!" OMG, pigpigpig. God did His best to stop this debaucle by sending a typhoon on his wedding day! Mr. Pig had 2 concerns on that day, 1) did my makeup artist make it? 2) I hope it's not THAT girl. My mind is swirling with questions! Why? Next up... Miss MyHusbandBetterBeRich or else. That's her only requirement. Sorry, forgot, "He can't make chewing noises". I swear, if my kids turned out like that, I would have considered myself a total failure as a parent. I have to stop as I'm about to break my keyboard.
  7. I'm sorry but I love this show! It's dark and so what if there are a few open-ended or unexplained situations. It's not a documentary. The 4 damaged characters are forever linked by their evil secrets. Graham and Madison provide comic relief, Jay is the romantic and Dr. Wag throws in a comment here and there. Chet, Quinn, Jeremy and Rachel's back stories all get revealed over time thus explaining why they are so damaged and feel little remorse for hurting others. Quinn's scoffs, one-liners and her laughter are priceless. When each one of them suffered personal hurt, (Quinn:no baby, lost love/Booth) (Chet:rejection from Quinn & Tiffany) (Rachel:betrayal by Coleman, Yael) (Jeremy:lost Rachel, job)...they project that hurt by hurting the stable of contestants who are all willing to take it as they are blinded by the glitz and glamour of being on tv. I'm willing to gloss over any fault to listen to Quinn's maniacal laughter. I love it!!
  8. Unfortunately, you are very correct. The more you've got to lose, the less you will disclose this tragedy as you are forever labeled as a rape victim. You will become an outcast. I do not want to offend any victims but from my experience (small town, affluent, VERY religious, educated), many will never let you forget this experience. I've seen it firsthand. You are an embarrassment to your family and they'd prefer you to shut the hell up. That's why so many are unreported. Again, I speak from MY experience. People do look at you differently if you speak out. Many won't believe you. Many think you 'deserve' it, many look down their nose at you, men will think you're 'tainted'. It's a very traumatic, life changing experience for all victims and many do rise above it but many do not. Let me give you an example: in a small town, there's the 'drunk', there's the 'crazy lady', there's the 'druggie', there's the 'poor' family, there's the 'rich' family, there's the 'slut'. Now add rape to a woman and she's forever labeled with it. She 'surely' ran after it cuz LOOK AT HER! The gossip is disgusting and unrelenting. I'm not surprised Rachel and her mother have kept it quiet, practice or not.
  9. Exactly cpcathy! That's exactly what mine felt like? Date night..cuddling while semi-watching a rented movie cuz we couldn't afford going to the theatre ... You get what I'm saying! I'm starting to feel like she got married to get away from her controlling, f'ed up parents, not for love. Sadly :(
  10. More about Haleigh: as I mentioned above, my first year of marriage was fun, exciting, mushy, smiles, farting rainbows!! Yes, it seemed like nobody else existed but us. Sooo romantic, all new! We also had to move for hubby's job & also lived in 300sq ft apartment but we found it so exciting, we didn't care! It wasn't til years later, looking back, that I realized how difficult it really had been, it was a sacrifice. Thank goodness for 'we are a team' and 'getting to know you' excitement that got us through all the new changes. Guess it was simply young love blinders, lol. We're going on 32 yrs and we've had harder years than that first one. It's so sad that we're not seeing that side of her/them or, sadder yet, it doesn't exist.
  11. Haleigh... She needs to get on antidepressants asap. She keeps talking about pro-volleyball, yet those pics of her playing look like they were taken 10yrs ago & 30lbs ago (not shading her weight, just pointing out that she had the body of a young teenager in those pics). If she was a professional athlete, wouldn't we see her playing/practicing/exercising? Glad Bryan got a job. I like her & it saddened me when she kept saying that 'marriage is hard' & 'marriage is a compromise' & now that they're moving, her 'pro-volleyball days are over', 'huge sacrifice'. I think she's using his Tennessee job as an excuse to not have succeeded to the level her dad demanded of her, her whole life. She's going to blame Bryan for everything she has not accomplished. Just a side note..I never stopped smiling my first year of marriage, so excited!! All mushy!! Sadly, never saw her smile at all. Won't even start talking about her dad cuz it's all been said. Nancy... Seems to have her head on straight. Supportive mom, nice family. Acts just like she should at her age. Issues at prom? Name me a teenage girl who didn't have issues. Tall or not! 'will he call, does this dress make me look fat?' (you gals remember?) TeamNancy! Lexi...Beautiful gal, seems normal. Any wedding drama was TLC scripted (dress, stress, kiss, priest, will he show up?) Katja.. Why does she speak so monotone? She's talking about having a baby in the same manner as me deciding if I want to supersize it at McD's. ("Mmm, like...maybe I'll carry it, no, maybe, like, let's get knocked up at a bar, like mmmm") Julie has huge issues. Katja is following orders. TLC scripted (belly walk?) Weird. They seem fine and any 'story, drama' looks TLC scripted. TLC has got to STOP making them look like freaks! (Baby chair, shot from the floor) and show us how it is to live in a world made for people between 5-6ft tall. I liked some parts of the 1st season, where they taught me how difficult it was for 6ft+ people (chairs, tables, planes, clothes, etc). This year, not so much.
  12. My 2cents... From observing: Lindsay is a giggling alcoholic (pills?). She has major issues, one being her clothes. Last year it was the crop tops w/those damn boots & shorts. This year, it's the belly exposing pants without any top that isn't marked "child size". Wtf? The other women seem to find appropriate clothes. I'm starting the figure out that Lindsay is inappropriately over-the-top with everything. Her boobs, her oversexualized talk & actions (wrestling costume doesn't even cover her nipples) the need for ANY attention... The Year of Lindsay? A reason to act like a moron? Sad. Lose the bf, get into rehab, stay out of the bar & Baby-Gap clothes. BUY A BRA My 2cents...Coco.. She's a beautiful woman. Now, if only she could get an attitude adjustment. Maybe a swift kick in the arse, as my dad used to say. Why so mean? That's the reason she can't find a man! None of the other women have issues finding partners, even Lindsay ffs. The guys who like her, she tears them a new one...the guys she likes run away. Geezlouise, stop acting like you're so damn superior. Stay off dating websites & just be nice.
  13. I have to comment on what was said at the end of the episode also... When her trainer outted her smoking. It seems to me like she's just living a life of excess & laughing about it. Sadly, we all know what happens to people living like this. An early death. Sadly, we are watching a woman killing herself on tv. It's tragic, just tragic.
  14. Wow, I'm actually physically ill after watching this episode. I USED to like her message... "Love yourself and don't judge a person based on their size, you don't know what they're going through" This is how I raised my children to think but geezlouise, she's no longer funny. She's bullying everybody who loves her. She insists you can be healthy and obese but commonsence tells you no, that's not right. She's trying to prove that you can be fat and do anything. Well, you just proved, right in this episode, that no, you can't. You are embarrassing yourself. I started to cry, actually cry, when you were trying to ski. Whitney, I hope you're reading this.... Please, lose the weight. As a fellow human being, I care. Please, enough with the excuses. You're not just "chunky", "padded", "thick"... You are morbidly obese. I'm literally terrified for you. Show us all that you can see another day and lose some weight, get healthy. I cannot watch this show anymore. It's like watching a dying person literally just suffer, waiting till they die. I'm in tears. Your message no longer merits any attention cuz you cannot be happy, you're only fooling yourself. I'm also tired of you starting every sentence with "I used to..." I used to be a great skier, I used to swim, I used to..."WAKE UP! That was 300lbs ago. I used to walk around on a string-bikini but that was 30yrs ago! Do you crave the attention by going on YouTube & slamming anybody/everybody who talks about you? Don't you see your parents cry for you? My God girl, stop!!! You cannot BLAME your illness for every single lb you carry, same way that I can't BLAME my pregnancies and menopause for mine. I've learned to exercise & adjust my diet. I'm working on it, are you? I just read other posters & I totally agree: What's her message again? I also agree that she's no longer funny, just 'almost' rude, demanding, defensive & in serious denial. She is not an "inspiration", no... she's being openly mocked. :(
  15. "I agree Valene is just in the show to be "discovered" for another reality show. She's very immature." I 100% agree with you....now, did you notice that horrible pink-orange sausage casing she was wearing? Omg, GIRL, GO BACK TO THE WHORE-STORE & at least, get out of the kids' size department! What an atrocity! No matter what size you are, dress accordingly and Hun, no... you're not sexy, you look like a *^#%*,!>~.
