  1. I love when the writers emphasize Dr Rhodes’ surgical experience and training. I remember when he was first introduced, they mentioned he trained in Mexico. While the facilities there, may have been state of the art or of a lesser nature, I imagine he probably dealt with worse situations which prepared him to be cool under pressure, similar to Dr Choi who was a military doctor. Dr Manning would benefit from such experiences since she consistently loses her cool in less pressured situations and can be very judgmental. She doesn’t seem to respect her superiors and every outburst is ignored without consequence. And while this may be applicable to several other characters, it just seems she’s running her mouth in every episode. I’ve also been very impressed with the surgical team. It took me a few episodes to warm up to Dr Latham, however now I really like his personality. The British doctor, whom I’ve forgotten her name, has mellowed a bit and doesn’t seem as annoying. I’m even starting to like Noah, whom I really disliked it the beginning. I think keeping the familial relationship with his sister but cutting the apron strings did wonders for his character.
  2. I have a theory that Ralph’s meta powers will allow him to regain control of his mind long enough for Team Flash to defeat Devoe.
  3. The best part was Dr Rhodes giving her the "this chick is crazy" look. He looked uncomfortable and not interested.
  4. I think Khylen alluded to this in this season's first episode. He remarked that he thought D'avin would be strong enough for the procedure and attempted to shoot him before the doctors informed him that not only was D'avin not damaged but that he had resisted the level 6 conversion, which had never been done before. It was apparent by Khylen's actions that only the strong survive the process and resisting it is unheard off. You either change or become extremely damaged. I'm excited to see how D'avin's story evolves. I've always been curious to know why they cast AA and LM as brothers when Alvis looks more like Johnny's brother than D'avin. Was it intentional? I'm looking forward to the brothers backstory.
  5. Only to be killed off by the crew of the Raza? No, thanks.
  6. Marc Bendavid wasn't in the credits. Does that mean One is really dead? If so, I'm done. I know he wasn't popular but he was my favorite.
  7. I'm curious. Just how is D'avin a special snowflake? My impression is that something terrible was done to his brain possibly to hide some secrets when he was a soldier. This procedure perhaps allowed him to resist the Level 6 indoctrination. I haven't seen him exhibit any special powers or skills that would overshadow his partners. He's needed saving several times and has saved his team mates in return.
  8. Speaking of beautiful men, I love Dr Rhodes gorgeous eyes. They're so blue, they almost look black. It was kind of ambiguous if Dr Rhodes helped Dr Downey die but it was a very heart warming goodbye. It was beautiful how Connor honored his final wishes by spreading his ashes. I grew to really like Dr Downey and the actor was great. Does Dr Halstead's offer mean he is now Dr Rhodes, Choi and Mannig's boss?
  9. Does it bother anyone else that the actress playing Julia look like she's sleepy all the time? I keep waiting for her to fall asleep mid scene. At first I thought it was an acting choice but then I watched a few interviews and she looks the same. I understood Quentin trying to cure his dad with magic. Yes it was naive, but who wouldn't at least try. The ending scene with his dad was wonderful.
  10. Julia was a horrible friend to Quentin. I don't understand how she considered the spell a joke. It didn't really matter if it turned out worse and that she tried to help. She trapped him in his mind and used one of the worst experiences against him. I just hope the writers haven't set her up to be shamed by everyone especially Quentin. I can't stand her poor me demeanor. Quentin should forgive her and move on.
  11. I think the hotshot surgeon was testing Rhodes' patience and personality. He's probably looking to mentor someone who is calm and cool headed. I was amused that Dr Lulu Spencer expected to be called next with her comment about learning to make tea. I expect jealously/competiveness to get in the way of her personal and working relationship with Rhodes.
  12. If Michael does get a spinoff, other than DM, I hope no other character follows him, especially McGuee. I would welcome a whole new cast.
  13. I think Tony is such an integral part that next year might the end of the show. While I'll miss him, I'm glad Michael is moving on. Tony should have made team leader long ago and Michael has been the 2nd lead for too long. I'd bet that he gets his own spinoff soon. As Gibbs would say, you don't waste good.
  14. I can co-sign your post. I agree completely. Ward and Brett Dalton are the only reason I'm invested on this show. With the insufferable Marty-Stu and Mary-Sue, it's a miracle I've stuck around this long. I so want this iteration of Ward to off Coulson or Daisy or both. Coulson was good in the movies, however he just doesn't work as the lead of a tv show and Daisy is just the most perfect snowflake. It's sad when the two characters with the most screen time are the worst part of a show. I was surprised how much I liked Mack as Director. Sooooooo much better than Coulson. I wasn't fond of Hunter in the beginning but he's growing on me and the others are okay, even Lincoln who's frankly boring. Can't wait for March to see where they take this new version of Ward. As an actor, BD is probably having a blast.
  15. Although I've been hoping For Ward's redemption it seems he will most likely be killed this season. I hope he goes out in a blaze of glory and does real damage to the team. I want his death to be truly earned as he takes out several of the main cast. If he's not redeemed then allow him to be truly evil.
