I liked the first two episodes. Hunter getting committed is a great storyline, so that young people see that having a disease like depression is nothing to be ashamed of and you shouldn't be afraid of accepting help.
I kind of liked the Frankie - Rival School storyline, but I think Degrassi could have made more of a difference between racism and ignorance. Obviously what they did was wrong but racism means to discriminate someone of a different race based on the belief that your race is superior and that is something totally different than ignorance, which is a whole different problem. Frankie and the team should apologize for what they did, but them being called racist is a step too far for me.
Not really interested in Miles and Tristan... don't see them as a good pairing.
Maya and Zig, well.... just don't get your advice from Lola I guess.
