  1. Also, it was said a few seasons ago that Will already has really high malpractice insurance because of some other issue. Not that that will necessarily figure in....
  2. So in alllllll his years on the squad, Hondo has never killed a woman? That seemed odd. And his reaction was ridiculous. But I did like to see Street be clever in this episode and liked the interaction between him and Luca. I was meh on the Chris relationship stuff but loved to see her with her family. I don't see the point of her participating in that relationship when she wants something long lasting. The couple are engaged and Chris should be thinking about endgame.
  3. This was painful and not a good look for professional women. So Liv and Amanda can't be objective because they are mothers? And we're still debating whether women can have it all? Still not clear why she was embezzling. Also, she was cool as a cucumber when she was at that work meeting. And as far as her suicide at the end, that could have been because she was caught and actually had to pay for her crimes.
  4. I saw that scene as the hotel owner being prejudiced against what he thought were gay men. He did call them the f-word when he told them to leave. I like Anton. I think he is an interesting character with interesting parents who have a good conflict. It is easy to see why he is so intelligent based on who his parents are.
  5. I found Audrey's comments to be awful. She only seemed to care about the kids who lynched the dummy and not how it made the kids who were the target feel. She was so concerned about making sure those hateful kids had a future vs. helping the diverse kids figure out how to navigate in a hostile environment, which is why they needed to have a moment to themselves to process it. What about their futures? Audrey is partly responsible for them not being able to trust their white allies at that moment. Not too big a fan of Greg yet, but I'm really fascinated by all of their children.
  6. I don't care about a Becky pregnancy although I do like Gabourey. The tango was delicious. Trai's singing was oh so lovely. I wish the takedown had been a bit more intricate but it was satisfying. Can't wait for Dre to wakeup. He is truly like a box of chocolates.
  7. I'm such a wuss. I teared up when Desiree hugged Chris. To see that sense of relief and feeling like everything is going to be all right because the calvary is here.
  8. This episode actually made me feel sympathy toward Evelyn and Nicole. Even if David is uncomfortable, he should try to meet Evelyn halfway and not forbid her to talk to others about sex. That is too controlling and makes him seem really insecure. I don't have high hopes for the honeymoon. When Nicole and Azlan had their discussion it was all about what she needs to fix, what she needs to do differently but Azlan isn't blameless. He could change things too. He could be more supportive about her health issues, not equate everything to laziness, and try to be encouraging instead of judgmental. He's so contemptuous of her and while she is far from perfect, she is trying. Yes, she has some Ugly American ways that need to be worked on. And she is spoiled, a bad mother, and needs to take responsibility for herself. But she shouldn't shoulder all the blame in this relationship. As far as Molly: I just think her beau is used to kids being less coddled. I imagine in DR that Kinsley would have cleaned up after herself or at the very least the mother not make such a big deal out of it. Also, considering the way people here commented on his pushing her on the swing from the front, I'm sure if he had helped he would have gotten grief for wiping at her dress considering where the ice cream spilled. I like Andrei. I hope he doesn't turn out to be horrible. I like that he wants to work right away. How much have they saved to be able to afford that wedding? Still looks pricy.
  9. I feel like they planted this seed about Carisi being more involved in Amanda's life than just a partner a while ago. He is really good with her kid, used to offer her advice and encouragement about being a single mom based on what he saw with his sister, if I remember correctly. I can understand how emotional lines got crossed. I really love Carisi. I love when he gets on Barba's nerves with his law school talk. Would like to see that again. He's a straight arrow guy in a world of gray and it is nice to see his beliefs come up against the real world. I wouldn't be mad if he and Amanda got together. Fin's West Virginia line was a highlight for me. Noah is the worst iteration of Cousin Oliver ever. Tired of that storyline. I thought the catfish rape storyline was interesting in that it was just ripped from the headlines. There was a sports star -- basketball, I think -- who was catfished. Both he and the girl he thought he was talking to were both being catfished. I even think the catfisher tried to implicate him in child porn. Really nasty stuff that probably still trails after him even though the allegations were false. I think this goes to show how vulnerable we all are, whether we live our lives on line like the two celebs, or live vicariously online like the catfisher.
  10. I don't get the impression that her family is all that concerned with higher education. They care about the band but not necessarily exposing their children to ideas not found in the bible. They have no intellectual curiosity at all.
  11. He does kind of look like the Penguin as played by Danny DeVito. Ninja Turtle because he rounds his spine and doesn't stand up straight.
  12. Just started watching this show and it is hard to get through. About halfway through first season but don't feel compelled to continue. I agree that it is hard to root for anyone (except for Frannie). Gord is dumb as a box of rocks and keeps trying to save everyone while leaving his little sister to fend for herself. And that hockey dude somehow thinks he has a better moral compass because of his last name? Wiley's mascara is distracting and I can't tell if the guy who plays Adam is a bad actor or if that monotone is just his schtick. Also, get that guy some conditioner STAT. His hair is crying out for help. All the women on the show -- except for Wiley -- kind of look alike and hard to distinguish them.
  13. I didn't think Lucy didn't like children. I took her response to mean that she didn't want to be discovered by his kid in that way. That is a heck of a way for them to meet - especially if there is ever to be a future with her and Baz. Baz is horrible and gets more unattractive with every episode.
  14. I don't think this show was equipped to deal with the Kandyce/Brynesha dynamic. I thought Kandyce was an abusive partner and they treated her violence and aggression toward Brynesha as something between roommates but because they had a sexual relationship it was more disturbing. Imagine if in the Real World house if a male roommate was interested in his female roommate and kept trying to put his hand up her nightgown or if he caged her in with his hands while she tried to get away or if he slapped her the way Kandyce did Brynesha. Her actions were inappropriate and I don't feel like the show really protected Brynesha. And that scene at the end where they hug during the reunion show and everyone applauds? Puh-leeze. I thought Kandyce was horrible and then she tries to beat up the woman who got ejected first? Why? So she could get more screen time? And she pretty much cyber stalks Winter? I think she is dangerous but it was all glossed over for the show.
