  1. I'm having a hard time buying into the Charlotte storyline. I clearly remember the other young actress who played the Charlotte role, stating to Valentine her disdain and distrust of her grandfather Victor. So, why are we supposed to believe that she would buy his B.S., hook-line and sinker? Revisionist history if you ask me. In regards to the Austin character, no surprise here. This show is cutthroat when it comes to dispensing of characters that Frank feels have reached their usefulness. From Todd Manning to Franco and now to Austin, Roger's performances have been underwhelming to say the least. I feel he played the characters the same exact way. Wish him luck in his future endeavors.
  2. I usually love Michael being put in his place by anyone on the show, especially Sonny. But today, Sonny took a major "L" with his lack of rational. The man brings his dying wife home, to be surrounded by her family, and all Sonny can do is put Nina's needs first. And when Michael tells him no, he blows up and calls it quits. Really a weak, lazily written scene in my opinion. Leave it to Sam to once again prove that she can give two shits about her kids. Just back from overseas, the first thing to do is take a shower and screw Dante. Let the kids just rot at the Quartermaine's forever Sam!!!
  3. So, Liz looking at a picture of her kids, and Jake is missing from said photo. Are we to assume Jake doesn't exist anymore, or just hidden on Cassadine Island again?
  4. So Austin wants to save Ava, but God forbid he try to save the supposed dead guy in the closet. You know a doctor that applies his craft at G.H. Who writes this crap????
  5. The scenes between Spencer and Esme today, shows you what can be achieved with tight, coherent writing. These actors are more than capable of executing good story telling. Thumbs up to both of them. This is what this show should strive for with every scene and storyline, instead of the lazy writing we get 95% of the time. In regards to the court scenes, I find it interesting that they brought up the bar incident with Officer Cabrera and the mentioning of the bartender's name. You would think that the first thing Diane would want to do is subpoena him to testify. He would throw Esme under the bus in a second, if it would mean saving his own ass. That would be the best reasonable doubt testimony one could hope for. This scene made Diane look like she had no clue about this incident, let alone use it to her client's advantage. Just dumb and confusing at the same time.
  6. Nice to see that Michael Buble had enough time in his busy schedule to stand in as Michael Corinthos. Even though the Nikolas character has had some weird sexual escapades in the past, this one takes the cake. It was kind of gross actually, just because of the real age difference between the characters. Poor Ava, she can never have a damn relationship that can stand the test of time. Well as long as "test of time" is in the Soap world.
  7. As much as I would like to see Dex be loyal to Sonny and the family, and get half the women in Port Charles pregnant, the writers will probably take the predictable route and make him a plant from the West Coast threat. Can't find any sympathy for Willow and her predicament. The stench of her pairing with Michael still puts me to sleep every time I see those two on my tv screen. I'm hopeful that the fallout from Carly keeping the bio mom's secret, somehow blows up this pairing. The slow burn of the Chase/Brooklynn pairing has been handled very well. You can actually see the chemistry the two have on screen. More Valentin please. Regardless of what this man is given to do, he does it in style. Points to the writers for inserting him in the "Sasha is a junkie" storyline. I have a feeling Sasha will ultimately blowup Deception down to its foundation.
  8. So, Neil's brother shows up to Alexis's office, a day after its revealed that Harmony was responsible for his death? How convenient. This show either slow burns stuff, or just rushes through storylines and conclusions like the world is coming to an end. I just can't with the awkward Michael and Willow pairing anymore. Their holier than thou, judgmental attitude about everyone and everything is just nauseating. The splitting of Michael/Sasha and Chase/Willow was a major mistake. The chemistry those couples had was undeniable. The writers of this show seem to not like nice things. G.H. can certainly use a dose of Valentin right now!!
  9. I agree that Cameron Mathison was the weakest link today in the acting department. Almost cringe worthy. Nobody scooping up Peter's body leaves it as open ended as you can get. At least with Julian, we got to see him literally get zipped up in a body bag. That's the treatment you get when the producers of the show are truly showing you the door!
  10. Another supposed, open ended death today with Peter. The same character that fell down the stairwell and was declared dead by two medical professionals. Being a fan of Peter's, looking forward to his return in a year or two. I was hoping that they wouldn't go the lazy route and restart the Sasha drug addiction story line. Leave it to G.H. to let me down every time. The only thing that would add any excitement, would be Sasha to go down the falls in a barrel, high as a kite! I'm kidding of course. I assume the ability to reactivate of Drew, died with Peter?
  11. I do love when Ava basks in Carly's misery. Her scenes with Nina were hilarious. The Chet/Terry stuff is just being used for filler. Sam giving relationship advice to anyone is comical. Elizabeth is tired because she is probably going through some split personality bullshit and doesn't realize she's the one that put the ring in the hospital locker and slashed her own dress. My question is why would anyone find this storyline interesting? I'm still hoping that Hayden returns and blows this Finn/Elizabeth relationship sky high! Violet does not need to see daddy hooking up with Aunt Liz!!
  12. The Liam storyline was handled well by all parties. Gladys not included in the closing scene was kind of stupid. It's the small details people!!! I am liking Chase with BLQ. Their contrasting personalities, should make for some funny scenes. That's what I found intriguing about Jason and Britt........but that got blown to hell. Finn and Liz are ok. That being said, I would love for Hayden to show up and blow it to a million pieces! Something about Violet's dad having relations with Violet's aunt, makes me want to throw up! I have liked the Michael character for the most part, but this pairing with Willow is really pissing me off the more it continues. I wouldn't mind seeing them doing a Thelma and Louise off the nearest cliff.
  13. I liked Dante's reaction to Sonny's return, just because they are and will always be on opposite sides of the law, and it just seems to always work between those two. That being said, Kristina knocked it out of the park with her emotional outburst, because it was how someone would really react in a situation like that.....kudos to her! Phyllis just needs to shut her pie hole on the Nixon Falls fiasco. She didn't even raise a finger to encourage Mike to find out his true identity. All she did was try to get him and Nina together, come hell or high water!
  14. Even though I like Peter and would like to see him stick around, they would have hit a homerun with the viewing audience, if as soon as Valentine showed up on the scene, he would of put a bullet in Peter's brain pan.......end of story!!! Michael and Willow.......zzzzzzzz In contrast to the slow pacing of the Nixon Falls storyline, they couldn't blow up Carly and Jason's marriage fast enough! Good riddance is what I say, because they should not have had them kiss in the first place, let alone have them sleep with each other.
  15. I am one of the few people here who like the Peter character. Have to admit today was such a guilty pleasure for me watching him in action. Taking Nina's head off in front of Phyllis today had me clapping in my chair. Finally someone mentioned the name "Sonny Corinthos" in front of a Nixon Falls resident! My eyes rolled once again seeing Nina trying to justify her actions in front of Phyllis. At the end of the day, it will be interesting to see how the show will try to salvage the Nina Reeves character, as her name will be mud in Port Charles. Can't see anyone showing sympathy towards her. Maybe Valentine?
  16. Phyllis comes off very petty in this Nixon Falls story line. Her character has been portrayed as someone who is very sensible and compassionate. The compassion is there, but the sensibility has gone out the window. She should have been the first person to urge SMike to do everything possible to find out about his past. Sorry, but I'm ready for this Nixon Falls garbage to come to a quick end. Again today, Nina did a lot of talking, but said nothing that made any moral sense. It's a miracle that Jax hasn't called for the local loony bin to put Nina in a straight jacket.
  17. Tamara Braun's performance as Kim Nero was just brutal for me. You can talk about how the writing of the character left a lot to be desired, but from her constant coffee cup holding and slipping her hands in her back pockets during every episode, made me want to reach through the TV and smack her upside the head. You can criticize the Carly character all you want, but Laura Wright is a hell of an actress and in my opinion runs circles around TB. Just my opinion of course, but I think you would be hard pressed to find three better performers on this show that outclass her acting abilities.
  18. Jax knocked it out of the park again today. I think the most poignant thing he brought up is the horrible chain of events that have played out in Port Charles since Sonny's supposed death, which could have been prevented if Nina told the truth from the get go. My big question is when the dust settles, outside of being ostracized, does Nina face any legal ramifications for her lies? The show was doing a good job keeping Carly and Jason in the friend zone and completely threw it out the window today with that kiss. They shouldn't have gone there. Does it really matter if Jax, Nina and Sonny, or any combination there of, prevents the wedding from going off? Damn thing won't be legal anyways!
  19. I've never seen a show with so many vapid individuals, that issue insincere apologies, like a cop issues traffic tickets. This show doesn't need to come back in my opinion. Does anyone even know what the ratings are for this season and how it compares to the previous ones? The two smartest guys on this show is Tommy, who wants nothing to do with these degenerates and Shervin who took a big step back from his involvement.
  20. Jax's reaction to seeing Sonny was well executed. He conveyed a "crap I knew it was going to be him" type of expression. Nina doesn't have a leg to stand on. Jax should issue an ultimatum, either you tell him or I will. Nina needs to catch hell from both Sonny and Phyllis for keeping this secret, otherwise you are really insulting everyone's intelligence, and that's saying something when it comes to GH most of the time. Can someone jog my memory, when Mike first showed up at Nixon falls, did he not have possession of his wedding ring? If that's the case, it blows this story line to hell from the get go and makes it one big screw up by the writers and producers.
  21. I will give the writers credit, I didn't see Peter being the one to find out Nina's secret first. I was convinced they would have gone the lazy route and had it be either Ava or Valentine. Being in the minority here as a Peter fan, I laughed my ass of when he went all Humphrey Bogart on Nina with the "Of All The Gin Joints In All The Towns In All The World" line. Sorry, but I do not feel sorry for her in any way and anything short of her getting physically hurt or killed, she deserves everything she gets in the eventual fallout. A big middle finger to the show trying to cast a good light on Michael and Willow, regarding the Chase situation. They are both sorry for stringing that poor guy along. It's ok, their punishment is being the most sleep inducing couple on the show, and that's saying something considering the other pairings this show has. Just my opinion of course.
  22. Beautiful camera work on the final scene with Jason outside of Britt's door, with the vantage point circling out of the office. Has anyone else had it with Kelly Monaco? With the combination of her looking like she's been shot by a tranquilizer gun and her just mailing it in every time she's on camera..............seriously, they can get rid of that character tomorrow and I wouldn't give two shits! Just because she's been on the show forever, doesn't mean she should be untouchable.
  23. Wow....it wouldn't be a true episode if Reza wasn't blubbering (crying) again about something self serving. It's impossible to find anything redeemable about any of these people. What a blight these assholes are on the Persian community. If I were Persian and lived in LA, I couldn't stick my head in the sand, like some damn ostrich, quick enough!!!
  24. Kudos to the writers for this episode. Maxie's dialogue was absolutely spot on. The way she suckered Peter in to letting his guard down, before giving him the dagger in the back, was nothing sort of genius! I also give the show credit for bringing down Cyrus and Peter down simultaneously. They could have gone the laborious route and spaced things out, but its only fitting, since these two are tied to one another. Though I see Wes Ramsey sticking around longer, since he will probably be in some coma after his fall. I'm in the minority here, but I like both the Cyrus and Peter characters and will be sad to see them go, since I always like rooting for the bad guys!!! ;-)
  25. By all means, please enlighten me. I can't wait to hear YOUR laundry list.
