  1. It's driving me crazy how Meghan keeps referring to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as "AOC." They do it on Fox news as well. It's her Twitter handle, not her name. When Meghan calls her that it seems dismissive and disrepectful.
  2. Good for Anthony! I love him and his low energy style and am glad the adopter came back for him! I think Hump was definitely better off having a loving home even if it was for a short time but that news was still heartbreaking at end of show.
  3. The Amy storyline is just sad, not funny. The writers seem to hate Amy. Who would come to work 2 days after giving birth? Props to America Ferrara who does what she can with insultingly stupid storylines. Her speech to Glenn was brilliant. The other storylines were actually quite funny: Mateo and Cheyenne with the names and Garrett and Jonah interviewing. "You chose the wrong chair." The raccoon was awesome!
  4. Me too--it was a wonderful montage with a great song. Sad that the season is over so soon but really enjoyed the episode. Afraid to see where these characters might end up five years from now or wherever they flash forward to. Hope Darlene makes it into the straight life. Loved Lori and her outfit at end but wonder if she will get over the coke habit. Dorothy's demise was heartbreaking. We don't see how it happens and just get a scene of her body (many days?) later with detectives making jokes. She seemed so happy in her first scenes back working with the activist group. I'm still rooting for Larry and think that had to be a non-porn audition--too much dialogue for a porn audition it would seem.
  5. I thought this too! It was so unrealistic that I thought the whole thing might turn out to be an anxiety dream that Amy was having and that she would wake up at end. That being said, the scenes between Amy and Jonah in hospital were quite sweet. Loved Garrett throwing card in room at end!
  6. I was thinking that too when I watched! First it was with the mob guys and then with Bobby. The Lori scene with CC in the hotel was so sad. I agree that she's stuck. I think Candy may be stuck as well because of the mobsters. Maybe Abby is the one who gets out--her upper or upper middle class background gives her advantages? Or maybe she will be the surprise death? I enjoyed this episode but it seems like there won't be too many happy endings in the finale. Perhaps Larry will be successful? His acting scene was a high point! And I'm rooting for Dorothy but she seems to be in danger. Darlene might still get out--I like her school friend.
  7. CC definitely seems like he's going to kill someone--Lori or maybe Dave or Dorothy. I'm afraid to see what happens! A lot of story lines this week. Vincent's trip was interesting but seemed to come out of nowhere. Maybe they are going to kill him off and want us to feel sorry for him with his dream of a simple, country life. And who exactly is trying to kill him? I thought in the beginning of the movie plot Candy had said she didn't want to take mob money at all. Now she's okay with it but not happy with how they treat her? Once she took the money she should have known they would have a say in decisions. I like Larry's dream of an acting career!
  8. Not the greatest episode but meetings in the break room always bring some laughs. I actually liked Garrett's Kelly impression the best...it was kind of crazy sounding! The Amy/Jonah plot was way too predictable. And I can't believe Sandra would give up Jerry so easily! I did laugh at Carol pulling her shirt up..twice!
  9. I liked that Lori wasn't having the bonding and kept saying she didn't remember first time she met Candy. Maybe Lori is regretting getting emotional with Candy last week? The plot didn't progress very much but I still enjoyed the episode. Larry was great in all of his scenes (getting hit by police car and trying to keep running! paying Darlene to coach him!). I'm still interested to see what happens with Dorothy and hoping it doesn't end badly with CC or Rodney. A random note: loved Abby's outfit for Paul's opening.
  10. Please, no more Jerusha. Her scenes are painfully unfunny. Apart from that, a funny episode! Liked how upset everyone was that they weren't invited to shower. And Garrett always has best reactions and facial expressions. Here's hoping that he and Dina get back together in their relationship or whatever they called it!
  11. Yes! I think Kim is one of the best characters. I would love to find out more about her past. Rhea Seehorn is amazing in this role.
  12. Agreed! It seems like there might be big confrontations coming--CC seems on the verge of losing it over either Ashley or Lori. Hope they get the better of him. Lori's speech about being owned by CC was quite moving but Candy didn't seem very sympathetic--she just wanted to use it for her movie. Yes, that seemed to come out of the blue! They do an amazing job with the street scenes--the people, the sounds, the trash everywhere. I've lived in NY since the 80's and they really capture the feel of those times.
  13. Kim has been breaking my heart. I love her character but in the last few episodes it seems that Jimmy is trying to go straight and Kim is dragging him into ill-advised con jobs. What is her end game? For how long does she think she can keep doing these cons?
  14. Totally agree! I like Paul but his storyline isn't going anywhere. I think they are saving him for an AIDS story unfortunately. And what's with his horrible wig? Loved the Larry scenes. That final pose for the photo shoot with the big smile--ha! They could lose the mobster scenes and still cut back on Vincent and Frankie scenes. I want more Lori, Candy, Darlene, and Ashley. And Abby--although I don't get that scene with the photographer--they have an open relationship? Abby didn't seem too happy about it.
  15. I really liked this episode. Less time spent on Vincent and Frankie which is an improvement. I found Abby annoying last season but I like the direction she's going in now. The scenes with Ashley were great and I was holding my breath during the encounter with CC. Lori was compelling and made out better than Candy in LA. Please move to LA! The mobsters bore me and I am worried that something bad is going to happen to Paul.
