    Season 4?

I live near Corning and am looking forward to going to the museum to see the winner's installation and the random pieces they have from the competitors!
  2. As strange as I thought the no eating eggs outside woman was, there wasn't any drama about it. There were eggs at breakfast, she explained to her friends why she didn't like to eat them outside, and went inside to eat. Apparently production couldn't make her throw a fit over them 'daring' to serve eggs outside!
  3. I saw this today and I was utterly exhausted from an event yesterday but it utterly enraptured me. I knew the general story but not the details and now I need to go read the book. The cast, the writing, the score, it was all spot on.
  4. I really enjoyed this show and have been trying to hype it up to friends who like similar themes. I didn't realize how invested until I spent half the episode shouting 'don't you date kill X" or "just die Z" 🤣 Hope there's a second season, off to buy the book series!
  5. I just finished this! I remember reading Go Ask Alice back in the 70s but had no clue it was fake. The real story behind Jay's Journal (one of the causes of the Satanic Panic) is truly heart-breaking.
  6. I have to say thank you, I thought I was the only person in the world who had seen She's Having a Baby! Now I need to go rewatch it. On topic, such a great use of the song and Sadie!
  7. Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run is my favorite comic series ever and this is a perfect meld of the Marvel cinematic universe and that series. Yes it's complicated with all the new characters but it really gets the vibe of Clint and Kate. I am beaming from watching this and it is what I needed after a crap work week.
  8. I'm looking at this as either he had an affair and the person wasn't performing but he kept her on anyway or they were performing and he cut her hours when things fells apart. Either way he was her boss and slept with her and that is wrong. Using your position in the workplace to influence someone else's job is unethical and worth being fired for. Food wise I was fine with any of them winning, I just wouldn't eat at Gabe's restaurant knowing this.
  9. The Stand is my favorite Stephen book ever, I have no issues with changes from mini-series and I was excited for this one because the casting looked good. I can now say I hated what they have done with the story. No motivation for anyone, random ball of lightning to destroy Las Vegas and no real character story. I'm going to go back and watch the 1990s version because casting horrors aside it was a better version than this.

    Logan (2017)

Just as a note, the leader of the kids was Rictor who has the power to generate earthquakes. He's a favorite of mine from the X-Factor books, so I was excited when I heard his name. He lifted the truck by raising the ground under it, not by doing anything to the truck itself - he was also the one bouncing the ball off the cinderblocks that were pushed out of the wall of his room in the lab. Overall, really liked the movie and thought it was a fitting end to the Wolverine saga.
  11. Overall I enjoyed the show other than the judges blathering but not really saying anything except for the subtle pushing of several people toward the bus lane. My son went to high school with Teddy - great kid and definitely trained in more than just hip hop so I'm looking forward to seeing other routines from him. Don't know if there's any video up from it, but he was the lead in Footloose last year for Webster Schroeder High School and put on a great show.
