Pretty sure there is a law in place that every comedy must have at least a sassy POC and or an overt LGBTQ friend. If the comedy is led by a POC it must have a stupid white friend.

Now stories going back to when she was just a kid? Not excusing her but why have people been letting her get away with this for over 20 years? If she was put in her place at 12 would she be different today? Hard to change your attitude if you get away with it. Fits in right with current situation in the country the world.

Yes, an asshole to everyone but how she bullied POC probably had racist undertones at least some of the time. i.e wig. Ryan had a choice, and he let her run rough shot over the production. It would have been easy to get rid of her at least at the end of season 3.

Really glad for her. I read awhile ago she has Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and was afraid getting pregnant might be more difficult for her.

The younger cast members were weak at times especially the young ladies and Roy/Rock. I also thought was odd how much the non POC got in comparison to the WOC. Maybe an unpopular opinion but was the prostituting gas station even needed? I mean it brought a few characters together but it seems more a story Ryan liked, so he threw it in there. I think instead of it being Rock Hudson it should have been an amalgamation of Jim Parson’s clients. TBH I saw nothing in the Roy character that would make people fall for him or believe in him. He was not even the best looking guy on the show. The best characters were the studio executives Dick and Ellen. The only two with really nothing to gain but to do the right thing. But it also meant the white guys "saves" the day trope. I wish there were a way to make it more how Anna May, Camille and Archie made it happen, but they still had to work within the system, so I guess it had to be that way. One last thing, the whole Camille getting to sit in the front would have been way better if once she told off the usher we didn't see that the gay black man was already in the front row anyway.

I just get a kick out of Vernee Watson being a nurse for the 100th or so in her long career.

I will never understand why she is such a lightening rod. The characters she has played can be annoying but even harder here she's the straight guy is even more difficult but frankly I appreciate as an actress she actually enunciates her lines and pretty sure if she is "babbling" its was written for her. That said I think they are work well of each other. I thought the Dina/TK stuff was ok maybe a little slow. Overall better than the pilot even if it is a little pie in the sky happy .

I noticed on the witness papers Lea's cousin had they were dated 1989. So the father may not have said much until her wanted to put in to the history. If that is true it was years after she after she left Lea's dad to go back to Israel.
