  1. I call BS on that whole scene. I think production knew about & was in on Frenchy's call to Twit all along - they were right there and ready with the right camera angles to be able to tape her phone's screen & then when she played giddy & plopped down IN the road to gush about his adorableness & bat her eyes & giggled when he talked to her about surprising her, etc. BS, BS, BS. How does her family put up with her? I'm on Hunter's side all the way. She owes him & her parents & friends such H.U.G.E. apologies for treating them so horribly.
  2. I noticed Bentley's hair also! I replayed that scene and oh yes, it's definitely been dyed & was at one time definitely a shade of orange. It's naturally quite dark when it comes in & then you can see the lighter orange/blond dye job & the gawd awful mullet that is so long & curly and is down to his shoulders. Not for me... thank you, but no. Ymmv. Yes, Josh can't be without his chewing tabaccy & the empty plastic bottle he uses to spit the disgusting & nauseating "juice" into. Just typing that makes me sick to my stomach! I don't think I've ever seen him without his spit bottle & a jaw full of tobacco.
  3. I sure agree with you about all of the pros & their 'guidance' MTV brings in for these women but if anyone needs advice on parenting & relationships & managing life, it's MacKenzie. I don't think I've seen any couple more unfit, unequipped, unsuitable to be parents than her & Josh. They've managed to procreate & have 3 offspring who are flailing to raise themselves & they're doing a horrible job at it as any child would. Bronx? Is struggling to not be kicked out of kindergarten/first grade? for hitting/kicking/biting the teacher! & in the last episode I watched they said something about their daughter maybe being held back a grade - and she's how old - 7/8? WTF have Mac & her cheating husband been doing with & for their kids? My gawd, they're leaving the kids to raise themselves & as expected, with such piss-poor role models as their parents are, and despite them obviously trying, the poor kids are failing spectacularly. Mac's reactions & embarrassment to some of the things the pros have asked her about her parenting of the kids is shocking. Did her parents let her & her sisters raise themselves? Of course not. I think she planned for her parents to raise her 3 kids & when her mom died she was SOL & is now seeing what a mess she's made of them. I don't think she & Josh will ever "get-it" and be able to give their kids the boundaries & guidance & role-modeling they so desperately need - especially as long as she continues to stay on tv & exploits her family. Good job, MTV. Another dysfunctional teen family on display for impressionable young girls to emulate, thinking that's the way life, parenting, relationships are supposed to be. And I don't really blame them - have risky sex, exploit themself & their baby & invite others to exploit them, too & make big bucks - maybe even be noticed by a tv network - get a tv show & they're all set! I don't blame them, I blame MTV & other media outlets for doing nothing to try to turn this awful trend/message around. Sorry for being so long winded.
  4. I'm guessing one of the teens or a 20 something was assigned the job of doing some filming while the parents held their pow wow. As for zooming in on specific people during their talk - if S.W. films like other reality shows have during the pandemic, producers operate cameras remotely. They could have the Browns set up the cameras in fixed positions and then from the producer's homes could be monitoring the scene and zoom in on someone specific or even move the view from person to person - as long as they had set up the cameras properly in the first place to allow these shots. The reality show participants haven't become expert camera operators overnite; technology has just improved so much that basically, as long as they've properly prepped and set up the equipment in advance, humans aren't needed to be right there to film a vast majority of these shows anymore. I've wondered if any of the many reality show participants who have doubled as camera people or producers or assistants during Covid so that their shows could continue to go on have asked to be paid for doing those extra jobs. And if they have, were any successful in collecting any extra pay? If they haven't, they sure should have.
  5. No. They are enrolled in public schools. When she was house hunting in Flagstaff I remember her pretend/try to rationalize making the kids attend specific public schools somewhere because of their location relative to whatever house she was wrangling for. I don't remember the specifics, but do remember having a general impression that confirmed she was absolutely impractical/nuts and didn't care about anyone but herself and getting what she wanted.
  6. I think the older kids have lived this life with Kody all along and, if anything, may be surprised much of this season (the honesty), especially tonight's episode made it to air, but not surprised that the interactions took place.
  7. Meri hasn't learned anything from her catfishing experience and fallout. She hasn't grown. She may think she's become an independent woman, but she's still mired up to her eyeballs in her disfunctional, abusive polygamous marriage and for her to talk Christine into settling for abuse and unhappiness and less out of life was heartbreaking. These women are soooo F'd up they'll never be be happy. Freedom and happiness and respect and appreciation have been offered and served to them on a silver platter but the brainwashing they've had is too strong for them to accept all that could be theirs. I guess that if they refuse to work for and accept better for themselves and their families and don't care, why should I?
  8. The wives are finally realizing Kody is & has been the cause of the majority of their conflicts and their unhappiness all along. Kody's problem and the cause of his frustrations and unhappiness is that he's finally getting the push back from his wives & kids that he's deserved all along. It's about time. Geezus, how can anyone stand to deal with him!?! Kody taking Sol to the landfill was shocking to me. Sol acted more like a 5 year old rather than 8 & I had to playback that part to make sure I heard him correctly. Saying his 8 year old son was "learning" to read?!?!? The kid should have been reading books with chapters for a few years already, not just now learning to read at 8 years old. Is he so out of touch that he doesn't know? I think Robyn is mostly at fault with any immaturity or delay for not socializing him more, not getting him involved in activities with kids his age, etc. He acted like the word landfill was a foreign concept and word. I know the family isolated their kids when they first moved to Vegas because they were so distrusting of everything and everyone, but I thought they'd gotten over that. I guess I'm naive thinking they'd wised up to the harms polygamy's isolations and mindsets were having on their families. Then Kody telling his teen daughter if she wanted it sooner rather than later that she was going to have spine surgery ALONE. What a despicable, awful, insensitive, selfish, POS man pretending to be a "father". He was a sperm donor & that's it & I think his offspring are all realizing that. I hate him; I can't imagine how strongly his kids feel about his treatment of them.
  9. I agree with everything you've said. I was getting frustrated and worked up right along with Myrka as I watched the episode. But then they showed another scene - and it came out that all of her tears and frustrations were after only ONE DAY of trying to breastfeed. And, my sympathy for her ended. She's never going to make it, whether it's feeding her baby or potty training, or etc, etc, etc if she so quickly and easily wants to give up. I perhaps understand her relationship with her mother a little better if crying and being ready to quit is her go-to instead of finding an alternative or compromise and working things out. Just another example of why children shouldn't be having children.
  10. The way this family agonizes over every s.i.n.g.l.e. decision, miniscule to life changing, is exhausting and Janelle and her family and Kody trying to cope with if, and then when, Kody would be permitted to come over took the cake. OMG, OMG, OMG! I had to either fast forward thru some of it or go bald from pulling out my hair, it gave me so much anxiety listening to them, especially Janelle, trying to rationalize and make a decision; it was agony.
  11. That baby is so unsafe in Tammy's arms. I was really worried when Amy let her hold Gage for the 1st time and it still worries me. She can't get her arms around the baby well enuf to support him should he either be floppy or start wiggling. It's just a matter of time before he falls to the ground - if Any doesn't stick close enough to grab him quickly when Tammy has him. Even in this pic he doesn't look safe and God forbid Tammy put her selfish desires aside and admit she can't really hold onto him well.
  12. I knew watching these idiots try to cope with the pandemic would be entertaining and I was right. Smh Lol, Janelle crying about Kody coming to her house and worrying he might be infected there because of her sons being in and out and pretending it'll be so hard telling him not to come and that not seeing him as often (when we all know he goes weeks not seeing that part of the family - regularly). Bwahahaha, Kody trying to maintain control on their family call, & the wives trying to interpret the Covid guidelines and getting it all wrong. We know the Browns don't handle stress well and have trouble coping with mainstream monogamous life / culture, but where, why, how did Mariah & Audrey rationalize they needed to move from Chicago to Flagstaff? It's news to me that there was any exodus from Chicago to more rural areas that they needed to be a part of. Meri feeling all maternal and needing to rescue her daughter was LOL. Then Mariah and Audrey arrive from Chicago and NONE of them are wearing masks. In fact, none of them were wearing a mask at any point on the episode. I know AZ didn't have as strict/widespread of a mask mandate as many other states, but for such a large family, supposedly as worried about catching Covid as they say they are, they sure didn't appear to take any precautions other than not going anywhere - except for Kody, of course, and Janelle? or Christine, whichever one said they go to the grocery store to maintain their sanity. Geezus, what a cluster this episode was. Smh I've been meaning to ask for a long time... what's up with Jenelle's lip? Another cold sore? How long have they been taping their couch interviews? She had "it" when the season started, she still has it, how long has it been? BTW, Janelle, smearing it with lipstick doesn't hide it. Gawd.
  13. I'll be there & will save you a seat. LOL I know Tammy explained it once, but I don't remember what she said... does anyone know/remember - what IS that on her forehead?
  14. I'm surprised Amy's OB didn't refer her to some classes; like a labor/delivery class, newborn care, a parenting class for both Amy & Michael, etc since she could certainly tell from interacting with Amy at her appointments that she was clueless about everything. But, maybe she did refer them to classes & they didn't go or producers thought it would make better tv for them to look clueless & unprepared, or Amy really is that clueless & she really has/had no interest in learning even the bare minimum & has no natural inclination to educate herself & is okay with the way things are going for her. She may give the impression & say she wants to do better but does she have it in her to do the work to BE better? I know Tammy doesn't, does Amy? I think her baby is going to struggle to thrive, to mature & develop healthy emotionally. I think Amy thinks being a mother is popping out a baby, holding it, taking pictures of it, showing it off, etc & I don't think she is equipped/able to put in the work to raise it to be healthy/successful. She ignored medical advice to wait to get pregnant & I think she feels the same way about knowing better than the experts about caring for & raising her baby. The more I watch the sisters the more distressed I am about them. I don't find their humor to be cute, or funny, or creative - I think they're sad. And now Amy's been tasked a helpless infant to raise & make healthy choices for & I truly worry if she's able to rise above her own disadvantaged upbringing & poor education & raise the baby to be the best it can be. My prayers are with them all to be healthy & productive & happy.
  15. But, did you sit in a puddle of water in the rain? jk I just about died when the camera shot Whit from the side when she was sitting talking to Ryan and it showed her sitting in an actual puddle of rainwater. That must have felt good. And when she stood up to walk away and the camera stayed steady, shooting her from the back, sopping wet, water pouring off her enormous rumbling backside all doubts were erased - the production crew hates her.
  16. Or a circus tent big top - like she hired Omar the Tentmaker to whip up that flattering, NOT, piece for her. With her going nude in front of her friends & acquaintances and wearing that bathing suit, and some of her wardrobe choices, I wonder what she sees when she looks in the mirror. Does she not see the rolls of fat and that her stomach is in the way when she tries to lift weights, and the rolls of fat under her chin and on and on?
  17. There was definitely a hefty amount of money raked in that was in their speaking contracts as well as all of the cash they got when the love offerings basket was passed and the pictures were sold for cash. A LOT of money. And the majority was of a non-reported variety. I'm actually surprised they were never in trouble with the IRS because of all of the cash they raked in because I doubt they reported it all (there was some reason they demanded the offerings and picture sales be cash only).
  18. I don't think practicality or common sense are big traits of Courtney's This is a woman with 9 children, the majority of them boys, and a husband who looks like he has a healthy appetite and she can't/doesn't cook! Her routines and ways of doing some things sometimes makes me want to scream in frustration. I often wonder how she ever managed to guide and teach a classroom of children. I did a double take when they were getting ready to move out of the doublewide - the sofa in the living room was filthy. I don't know how any adult could sit on it. Yuck! It's what you'd expect with that many young children spilling things, but I never saw a quilt or anything draped over it to try to keep it clean. IDK, maybe they planned all along to toss it when they moved out, but what have they taught the little kids about how to treat furniture, etc. for when they move back into their house with all w.h.i.t.e. walls!?!?!? Yikes.
  19. I often wonder what it is too, that Kim's got that keeps Kroy around. I just don't see the attraction he has for her. I mean other than when it comes to her, he seems to have his head on straight. He has common sense, exhibits good values, etc. I think he backs down and goes along with her and doesn't say anything just to keep the peace. The advice he gives the kids is logical and practical and sound. He seems to be a good dad, but how he puts up with Kim just baffles me. His parents must be heart sick that he married someone like her, someone who puts plastic surgery and gambling and designer labels and image above education and goals and relationships. I wonder how Kroy really feels about no longer having a relationship with his parents and family. He was obviously raised with love and morals and to have goals and be responsible, things Kim doesn't put high on a list of importance.
  20. Her OCD was BS for the show just like them being a super religious family. She's simply a control freak/monster. And, as soon as the show started to wind down she dropped all mention of Bible verses on everything, there was no more church going, verse emblazoned t-shirt wearing, etc. Her supposed OCD and the Christian family image was dropped when TLC realized it wasn't working with their image any more. Viewers became too savvy to what Kate was really like.
  21. Kate's plastic surgery was free because the surgeon's wife supposedly felt a connection to her (at least that was the story they gave at the time) and convinced him to help her. The sextuplets did not get college scholarships. The state opened accounts for them, but they did not put money into the accounts. The public could donate but it was never stated if anything was ever donated. Per Jon and Kate, they put money into accounts for the kids and their educations are paid in full.
  22. Her license is current. She's never let it lapse so there would be no need for it to be reinstated. At most, she may have to catch up on a few continuing ed classes, but that's about it as far as her license is concerned. would Her big problem, should she ever want to pursue nursing again, would be her notoriety. Personally, I can't imagine anyone hiring her for direct patient care. Maybe a job behind the scenes somewhere, but where she'd be dealing directly with patients? I don't think so. Her reputation is going to precede her wherever she goes and she has no one to blame for that but herself.
  23. Very true. Thanks for righting my misplaced wrong stereotype. But, now I can't get the image of him out of my mind. Lol
  24. Agree! I could see/accept the coke use when she was really slim, but with all of the weight she's gained and how lethargic she acts, I don't see it now. Unless she's snacking on junk food so much it's offsetting that side effect of the coke -- and that must be a heck of a lot of snacking she's doing. Hehehe, I can picture June and Butch together. LOL
