  1. This season has been the hardest to watch. I felt like it was so ridiculous and the focus had shifted too much from the girls. It's gotten too Hollywood and commercialized. I don't like Anthony Ramos. Yeah he asks decent questions but he has no ties to the dance world. I would love to never see him on the show again. I found all of the rookie candidates, sans Christina, annoying and forgettable. They all look exactly alike, wear the same bad lip color and matte foundation. I just really felt like I didn't care about any of them and usually I'm excited to see if any of them make it. I didn't really see anyone tjat was a real standout. I loved seeing more content with the vets on the show. I would love to see group practices or nights when Kelli and Judy aren't there and the girls are just working technique and stuff without the fear of it being a cut night. If love for them to do a contest of some kind where fans, like us, can come and watch a field practice one evening at the star. The only thing that bothers me about Kashara is her accent. I think it's annoying. Honestly, I wish the show would go back to how it was the first 4 or 5 seasons without it being so scripted and full of silly content, like the lessons on how to eat or fashion shows.
  2. It's gotten silly how they make a big deal about it and no one really needs one. I definitely think they should have taken Alexandria to a darker color. I'm so over the 90s makeup look. The girls all look the same with the dark eye makeup, overly thick brows, and the matte beige lipstick. I do think they offered more drastic makeovers before 2015. Girls did have more unique looks. All of them are the same and I'm bored.
  3. Yeah I know I've seen Vivian wear it more than once. Yeah there are a lot of places to buy dance gear in the Dallas area.
  4. Also- does anyone else feel like these girls need less makeovers as the years have gone on? And I know the 90s are back but I'm already tired of the dark lipstick paired with black eye shadow. The makeup artist in me is cringing so much these days.
  5. I liked that they brought in other vets who were seasoned and had more than just 2 years experience (Melissa). I hope we see more of that. I don't like Tasha at all. She comes across as fake and is using her social media to overly endorse things. Maybe she has such a large social media following that that's why they kept her (a "fan favorite"). Hahaha Tina in the group of vets! She stands out like a sore thumb. And I'm sorry, but her daughter isn't a great dancer. She can nail moves but she looks s****** and has no style. I also liked that there was the clip of Tina from a season or two ago talking about how she and Kelli are BFFs. You know, in case viewers were wondering why she was there. Lol So I thought if was funny that all the vets had their maiden and married names except Cassie Trammell. It's possible she didn't take her husband's name, of course, but it looked more like "we don't want anyone to question that's she's Judy's daughter so no married name for cassie!" I like the new locker room!! Hopefully other teams will step up and give their cheerleaders better locker rooms too. Gosh such a difference from the old locker room! I remember the old locker rooms from their old stadium! the girls had to share like 8 outlets or something?! I'm glad they got a cool upgrade! No matter what, I think we can all agree they work their butts off and deserve the new studio and lockers.
  6. I like all the outfits here except for those awkward sleeves on the girl to the far left. Otherwise, they all look fabulous!
  7. I'm late to the game on Kelsey. Why don't Kellie and Judy like her?
  8. Wow! I hope they're the only ones with that contract. Girls from AAIA and DSIG try out for DCC all the time and go back if they don't make it, I think.
  9. The doctor that's been auditioning wrote a book. Read the description.... sounds a lot like what Colby said in one of her interviews about how she wanted to be a mentor to the girls in DCC. http://chiufang.com/book/
  10. Yes but look at the board. It goes from 130 to 201. There were only about 200 girls there today. They fudge the numbers for show drama.
