Yeah, how could that possibly backfire on Selina? LOL I might be wrong, but I think we're supposed to gradually forget that she's there filming so that there will be a big joke payoff when her film gets leaked and we get to revisit her mom's biggest gaffes all in a row, one after the other. I think we're supposed to assume she's there even if we don't always see her, so the big payoff doesn't get telegraphed too early?

Yeah, who knew the show was keeping Chloe Bennett on such a short leash acting-wise? The minute her face lit up I thought, "Oh look! She has an emotional third dimension all of a sudden!"

It's a clever little charm of this show that the less seriously you take it, the better it gets. I have kinda high standards for FLASH and AGENTS OF SHIELD, but for this show the best thing you can do is shift your brain into park, let the motor idle, and just enjoy an hour of silly fun on the tee-vee screen.

They showed this. Apparently the suit has a limited power supply and he had it dialed down while pummeling her for fun. He cranked it up to 11 to deliver the death blow before Hobo McFortunecookie touched him and gave him the vision that frightened him so.

Yes please! The second I saw Coulson's death-blow hand-print STILL on Hive's chest, I thought, "Oh boy, Phil. Hope you're ready for one hell of a tussle with him; he REMEMBERS." Lash is gonna be the cure for what ails Coulson -- but when HiveWard strikes, can Coulson be sure that Lash is there and is ready to party?

Good episode, easy to watch, no filler, lots of action. Can't wait for Lash the undefeated Inhuman killer to square off versus the Inhuman WormWard.

Woof! I want to believe this show is good -- but the dialogue clunks along like eight crusty bricks in a spasming clothes dryer. Eventually, I envied the Hindude who went spelunking in his own skull with a metal spike to his ear.

Felt genuinely sad for Will. FitzSimmons fighting over what turned out to be a now-dead man's no-longer-existing contribution to a love triangle they didn't know was now just a two-point line between two over-thinkers; and yet, the only reason they were able to argue is because that dead man loved Simmons while he was alive, and sacrificed his life to guide her home to Fitz. Hm.

Pushed aside, come on. Simmons got an entire episode to herself; she wasn't pushed aside, it was just time for someone else to get to be in the show for once LOL. Maybe you're re-writing the show in your mind until it becomes a sexist thing that it really isn't. Again: Simmons got an entire episode to herself. Which means all the male characters' story lines were pushed aside for that entire episode. Why no concern for their 'agency' on your part? Come on, admit it: some of the strongest characters on the show are females (May, Bobbi, Daisy), and it isn't a sexist show at all. It just might have some sexist viewers, projecting their misandry, onto the show.

I have DirecTV and they decided to cut off my recording of DOCTOR WHO whenever they damn well felt like it but after reading these comments I'm not sure I'm too upset about it.

Good point. She's not bullet-proof though, maybe they're worried about HYDRA putting one in her before she can get around to quaking all of them? Or maybe she DOES end up doing that and we just haven't seen enough of the episode. I'm down for another Winifred/Illyria style story arc, that was an awesome twist on ANGEL. But: more interesting if it kills then possesses Fitz...imagine him leaving as a mousy sort of lab nerd and coming back a grand, high-powered supervillain! Mwah ha ha!!

I know. That's why the truth is, they were actually cooperating. Or did Ward have them separated for some other reason? Ward might have issues LOL. I think his internal clock is set to Crazy Standard Time.

I'm sorry you don't think that boys and girls can cooperate and share the burden back and forth and eventually achieve goals together. It's really not enlightened of you at all. Coulson's pretty badass. That high dive could've ended with a broken everything.

Wait. There were 2 monoliths in play: the one that grabbed Jemma and the one that was in the oldy-times lab. The one in ye oldey time labs blowed up, but doesn't SHIELD still have the one that grabbed Jemma? the one with the rectangle cut outs that match the size of the HYDRA chunk?

It also sounds like a situation where "he left her abruptly" means he was killed, and then was replaced after "weeks" had passed by an Inhuman who can shapeshift and needs to find other Inhumans (just like SHIELD needs to do, so an association with SHIELD would be good, thus the infiltration). More than one theory you understand.

So here's my thing. Since some of you were curious enough to wonder. Contrary to the statements of others on this board, Inhumans do NOT just simply 'transform' and then la-dee-dah off to use their superpowers. They go through an intense process. They need a guide or they go haywire. SEE ALSO: Every Inhuman ever on the show. Ever. SO, the idea some of you have ... is that Andrew eats some Terrigen fish - while on an intimate vacation with his former love, the most suspicious woman on the planet - transforms into an Inhuman, does not freak out, does not show any signs that even Agent May would notice!, which, bullshit - maintains a delightful vacation demeanor throughout his whole transformation - which, bullshit - and then goes on an Inhuman-slaughtering rampage back on the mainland sure to attract the attention of SHIELD, because bullshit. If that's the story some producer's ex-wife's kid wrote as part of the divorce settlement, then I'm out. But: what if Andrew was killed/sidelined by an already-honed shapeshifting Inhuman while in Hawaii? Then...

I mean he can't have been Lash for years and years. Nowhere in the series has it been explicitly stated that Andrew was exposed to the Terrigen Mist - correct? Before it was let loose in the biosphere, how exactly was he exposed? I remember Daisy and Raina going through hell and high water, just to be exposed accidentally in some buried alien whatsit chamber. And every Inhuman seems to need training once they've transformed - who trained Andrew? And he knew Lincoln was on SHIELD's radar - so why hunt Lincoln at all when it would put Andrew at odds with SHIELD? The same way he's not hunting Daisy? It's a cute reveal, but like I said: lots of untidy loose ends and retconning are in the viewer's future... It was a tight episode otherwise BTW, one of the more enjoyable ones.

When did Andrew become Lash? He can't have been Lash all along, for years and years - that would be awful storytelling creating a million loose ends. At what point did the real Andrew get replaced?

I agree? But I'm not sure the writers do. Anyway, my whole point was that SHIELD had time to find a way to protect Andrew, and maybe even fake his death at the hands of HYDRA so they'd stop coming around looking to kill him.

Andrew is probably dead. They killed off Lucy Lawless pretty abruptly too. But: didn't May go to Coulson and spill the beans on Hunter's erratic behavior before the fateful gun battle? Couldn't Coulson have deduced that May's cover would be blown because Hunter was so unstable, and come up with a contingency plan to keep Andrew safe (like a Koenig-esque Life Model Decoy)?

I love AOS, but I think it's funny that the show can't get Chris Evans to appear and he's even willing to do a 9 second lipsync video on someone's Twitter account. lol
