  1. I was somewhat distracted last night so I wasn't able to really watch the show how I wanted, so i'll have to catch it again when I get home from work. john being killed like that definitely caught me off guard, sheesh. also ernestine's new drug habit....along with her abusive new boyfriend...trouble trouble. season is going to be intense as hell, and im here for every minute of it lol
  2. quick question. where are kanan and jukebox at with Tariq??? are they at that old woman's apartment that kanan killed??
  3. get used to the modern music being played during and in between scenes. its not as bad once you get further into the season
  4. not to take Ghost's side butttt im sure he would have reacted like that toward Tariq if he was actually there and saw Tariq disrespect his mother. that's like when I was growing up and I would do something bad when my dad wasn't home and my mom would tell him about what I did...he would be upset. but I kno for a fact he would be even more irate if he was actually there and witnessed me doing whatever it is I was doing. yall are jumping on ghost for having a natural human reaction. lol yall are tough
  5. im with you when you right!!! lol @ the kanan comments though
  6. im not surprised at Tariq for not getting any real discipline. the kid is a privileged spoiled brat. probably has never had any real punishment in his life other than being grounded for a week at the most
  7. man ghost is fucked and has no one to blame but himself. poor Tariq is out of his mind, talkin to his mom like that and calling her a liar. it was funny watching Tasha call Ghost to straighten Tariq, we both know how that scenario would've played out with a black mom in real life...she would have laid that boy out and THEN called his father to handle it. also, although the boy was right when he refered to Angela as Ghost's side bitch he still was out of line. im sure it hurt him to see his fathers reaction to him saying that though. poor Tariq is just in a downward spiral and I think he may get killed as early as this season. who does Angela think she is to continue coming to the St. Patrick residence???? and then to try to shame Tasha for "taking him back", HA! im glad Tasha held her own and hit Angela in the gut with the "im his wife and he is the father of my kids, he never left and he was fucking me the whole time" YESSSSS Tasha *handclap*. Tommy poor Tommy. im sure at this point he is suicidal due to the news about holly being pregnant. wonder how Milan will try to use him now that he know that Tommy is basically hopeless for the time being. clearly he is going to try to flip Tommy against Ghost so that will be interesting to see how all of that plays out. Tatiana isn't dead???? what?!?!?? lol Milan is like 10 steps ahead of Ghost. the way he showed up to Ghost's crib and basically blackmailing and threatening Ghost with a charming smile....DOPE. also love how Milan shifts between accents. that actor is doing great. I wonder what significance the cigarettes Milan smoke is going to play?? the camera made sure to focus on them.. that lady interviewing the task force is smart! she is going to get her answers plus more in due time. something tells me that mike will be implicated with the lobos escape but I also think Angela and Greg will face some kind of discipline as well. we already know this but i just wanna reiterate it......Kanan is ruthless. suffocated someones grandma with a 'Jesus Saves' pillow DIS TEW MUCH. wonder whats behind that wall with the hole in it?? and I wonder who the old lady was to Ghost?? anyways Kanan better watch himself, I can see him and Dre interfering with things and then being killed and eaten by Milan for it.
  8. been at work waitin for someone to make a thread lol ok so first off, minus a few hiccups...the way these last 2 episodes have tied everything together is awesome, shoutout to the writers and producers for that. the lobos breakout/escape was cool. but we all know greg should have been dead (more on that later). ghost is an idiot. how he handled lobos and angela and tasha was just very messy. clearly this episode focused more on tommy being the smart 1. did he leave that ring he gave to holly at the gravesite??? if so that could definitely be trouble if discovered by the wrong ppl (the police). I think we all knew that given how hush and strict the fbi was with the lobos case, the fact that something happens screams it was an inside job. 1+1=2 everytime. how mr. sandoval will be caught (or even IF he is caught) will be a story in itself. angela is really in a bad spot and it could not have come at a better time. again, greg should be dead...what kind of killers pull a job like that and leave witnesses??? but I get it, they need him to continue the story line I suppose lol. the scene when the "security" for ghost turns out to be Milan was DOPE. the way he changed his accent in mid statement was crazy! how stupid could ghost have been??? like I said last week, he is always so busy and blowing ppl/things off he fails to pay attention to certain details of things...now its biting him in the ass. thought he was out the drug game since he offed lobo's and now at the moment he has to get right back into it. my big questions after this episode were: how will all of this affect what kanan is planning??? and is lobos even really dead??
  9. ahh that makes sense. but with a year wait I still don't see why she was that excited.
  10. also, why was angela so excited when ghost pulled out those separation papers???? she acted like they were divorce papers lol
  11. wow. this episode was everything. definitely didn't expect holly to go out like that...by tommy at that. that scene with kanan and dre where kanan is holding dre's daughter was intense. I wonder what will come of that??? will dre tell ghost that kanan is back?? whats gonna be ghost's reaction when he finds out kanan is back?? those Jamaicans were playin around, they had more than enough time to take ghost out but a great scene nonetheless. ghost owes the security team BIG time. im sure something will go down with them in a future episode. they know too much about ghost my only issue with ghost as a whole is he's always brushing people off when they are trying to talk to him. always telling them to talk to him later smh. he probably could avoid some of his misfortunes if he jus take a few seconds to listen to what people have to say.
  12. great season finale. rosalee and harriet tubman teaming up should be nothing short of epic. the fact that harriet is now going to be a character on the show is reason enough for me to patiently wait on season 2, as if there weren't already enough reasons. I knew cato wasn't dead and that he buried/hid that money somewhere. very interested in how he managed to escape that situation (he was very outnumbered) and maybe we can learn more about his backstory...mainly his wife and daughter. august just wont die!! why??!? smh. and who is caring for ben while august continues out "on the hunt"?? Susannah did Ernestine very dirty, looking forward to see how Ernestine gets out of that.
  13. sam wasn't "left behind" though...he chose not to run. he basically was down with the plan all the way until it was actually time to put the plan in motion
  14. the same way august recovered from being shot in the back/neck (and still being able to swim and continue the hunt)...sarcasm lol
  15. lol yea I jus caught the mistake of mixing up john and tom. but im not sure what cato's fate is/will be...I just don't believe him to be dead.
  16. even though it was a bit farfetched (runaways on a rescue mission in territory they are not familiar with?? yea right), I still enjoyed this episode. rosalee is so smart and quick on her feet. threw the dress in the fire to cause the hallucinations. its unfortunate what happened to ben and august has no one to blame but himself. had that boy out there with him "on the hunt" acting like they NEEDED the money when in all actuality their home is sitting on a gold mine. wouldn't be surprised if august lost his mind. it was good to hear the mini backstory on cato about how he lost his wife and daughter but still holds out hope that he will reuite with them. we all suspected he had a deep hurt that made him act how he acts so it was nice to hear it confirmed. I wonder what john and elizabeth are going to do with the sheriff?? they have a whole heep of trouble on their plate currently and it will be interesting to see how it pans out. rosalee, noah, and boo being reunited brought a smile to my face. and to circle back to cato, i don't believe he is dead. something tells me that the rest of that money that was in that stagecoach is going to play a factor in his survival. maybe he bribes the slave catchers with the money and/or telling what information he knows about where rosalee and noah are headed. but I don't think for a second that he is dead.
  17. smh poor sam. I don't understand his thought process as far what made him decide to NOT run with the group but to try to run by himself? he basically caused his own fate. I was kind of distracted while watching this episode so i will need to rewatch it again before giving a full comment
  18. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/04/25/underground-season-2-renewed-wgn-america
  19. so many questions/comments about this episode. im glad they are making it harder on august, he's probably never had to work so hard to catch a slave let alone a group of them. im still interested in his son and his sons thoughts on slave catching. he seems to not be as into it as august would like. the reverend seems to be very evil and menacing. that look he gave james and tom jr when they were running around in the yard says it all. also I wasn't able to hear what he whispered to Ernestine before he baptized her but her reaction says it could not have been anything good. cato is a snake...we all know this BUT at the same time he is needed and slightly beneficial to the group. I was happy when he kicked the last "redneck" off the boat because its no telling what would have happened had the man got free from the rope im still lost as to how rosalee managed to get in good with the Indians. maybe ernestine taught her some things about them when she was younger and she retained the knowledge?? anywho I definitely want more info about that scene. and I wonder if the Indians will make recurring appearances? hopefully they can help out whats left of the macon 7. ready for next week lol
