  1. I'd be more inclined to think David could bump Rashad. Only dance fans really love Rashad, but he is a free agent, he doesn't have an organization with a ginormous fanbase to back him like David does. If he was still connected to a team like David is, being their promotions guy, then I wouldn't worry so much. And wasn't that dance off close? It should not have been.
  2. Sure he was boring, that's why he did the commentary for Sports Illustrated each week and had his fellow competitors roaring with laughter, especially his impressions but yeah, friggin boring.
  3. Exactly a very very recent Olympic gold medalist vs an Olympic medalist from 23 years ago. Nancy is amazing.
  4. Eh, we had a giggling school girl last season, and she bored me too. Compared to Hinch, man it was painful.
  5. YMMV but Simone is uber awkward and Val kept talking so I figured Norman didn't have a tongue. Nancy is uncomfortable talking about herself, but that's endearing. Get her talking about her passion, like the eating disorders documentary about athletes she is producing and you have a very accomplished articulate woman.
  6. Right as suspected, nothing to see. Yeah, don't sweat it, this chick is milking her '"strain" and trolling for sympathy votes.
  7. You wanna talk awkward? Does anybody know anything about Simone or Normani other than what their pros tell us? Geez these girls are as boring as paint drying.
  8. She didn't hide anything. Nancy was interviewed on Nightline and they asked her about the injury. The pain has been significant on her spine, they showed her wincing in practice, one day on a break Nancy couldn't even lift her arm to drink water. The show chose NOT to include an ABC interview in any of her packages. Not once. I wouldn't blame them if they did, but that would give her sympathy.
  9. Surprisingly PBR fans are pretty rabid per 2012: PBR Fans are 12 percent more likely than all U.S adults to engage in online social networking and 40 percent more likely to do so on their smartphones. 55 percent of PBR Fans used Facebook and they are 50 percent more likely than all U.S. adults to have used Twitter. Source: Nielsen http://dialog.scarborough.com/index.php/professional-bull-riders-pbr-gearing-up-for-built-ford-tough-world-finals-in-las-vegas/ It's not just social media, I have complained since day before day one that Nancy and Artem had very little exposure on TV shows like ET or Access Hollywood until this week, or On The Red Carpet, the abc show that never ever interviewed them. There just was no buzz about the team whatsoever, like they were invisible.
  10. Except when Males are ringers, eg Mario Lopez, Corbin Bleu, Charlie White, the fanbases complain just as strongly. In fact Mario was the first ringer, and Emmitt Smith said it about him. Who won?
  11. That's incredibly boring. The show creates rules for some and doesn't apply them to the vast majority of men who can't handle them. So rather than see the show for what it is, they let the fanbases dicker over nothing. This show doesn't have the balls to have an all female finale, and get some really good dancing for a change. But they've had an all male finale, highest ratings in the show's history. Never been matched. And that's why they play by different rules.
  12. Never on par with them, except week 1 Nancy was one pt ahead of Norm and tied with David and Heather. After that she never scored higher than either Simone or Norman, regardless if they did the prescribed dance style or not.
  13. I can't even. Anytime there's an "injury" package on this show I roll my eyes. The only time I felt sincerely bad for a dancer was when Kym Johnson almost had an career ending injury when Hines Ward landed on her neck. That's a pro, who will dance injured because her livelyhood depends on it and isn't into making injury part of the video package unless she can't dance to teach her celebrity and a sub has to come in.
  14. Absolutely. Vote for the celebrity in the Gorilla suit, it doesn't matter. It's always been a shitshow of no rules, except on my favourites, the rules get applied.
  15. The difference is exploitation of fanbases. One refuses to do that or make any excuses, the other, not so much.
  16. And yet Normani got a higher score for doing No Foxtrot so early in the season, actually same night.
  17. It's obvious the show loves to advance conservative voting blocks despite dancing like crap. Bonner, Bristol Pallin, Candace Bure, Marie Osmond, Bill Endeval, all sucked. all got to top 4 or higher. Master P didn't get past week 4 and he did more Paso Doble dance steps than Bonner ever dreamed of. 'Course Master P gave all glory and thanks to God since he wanted to give attention to the victims of Katrina, many of whom were his friends in Louisiana, but it wasn't the right one. The scores are more than interesting given the hugely inflated scores they given ol Bonner.
  18. She danced early from the start, and was lowballed from the start. There is no way around it. How do you give 8's to a Samba considered one of the best of the seasons? How do you give 9's to a gold standard Tango? How you do it, is methodically undermine any support she could have gathered with unfair scores from week 3 onwards. Heather was given fair strong scores from the start, and sent home with 10's. Nancy's support was soft because she was underscored throughout the competition and sent home with 9"s, showing no growth when we know just watching her this was the best dance of the night. Confident, relaxed, gorgeous dance position. She's an old fart at 47, my ass. She danced circles around that crybaby with the injury. Nancy has to have spinal surgery and not a peep.
  19. Except Nancy was denied one 10 all season when her technique is the closest to ballroom and Latin standard of all the competitors. How is that preferring her to stay when she is penalized for doing proper ballroom and Latin?. What this tells me is the show pretends to make this a competition about ballroom and Latin but when it's too difficult to do they make it about popularity and Nancy goes home because growing a fan base because you dance ballroom and Latin well isn't the agenda. The agenda is getting the millennials to buy into this show when they haven't bothered and continue to prefer the Voice regardless of all the machinations. Nancy was the sacrificial lamb of everything people enjoyed about this show. By getting her to re invent iconic dances they decided that she wasn't worthy of providing any memorable dances of her own. They want to erase any memory of Nancy even being on the show because she danced so much better than the people they are protecting. The judges only gave her nitpicking remarks of what to work on nothing glowing like they gave Heather before she went packing
  20. I disagree about Pantomine, Nancy was dancing from the get go with three other dancers. If you're talking about dancing in hold Nancy is the only one to do more than 2 passes of gold standard variations than anyone this season. I especially loved her progressive link section. Since this show is about production routines, there is no such thing as just Argentine Tango and yet that stupid lip syncing to a Rumba in Spanish is supposed to make me think this is supposed to be Argentine Tango. Sorry but it did little for me except accentuate the fact that Normanis legs are not razor sharpe staccato when doing engauchos so it wasn't as precise as I like to see. Val stayed away from the difficult slow to exciting explosive movement that makes it Argentine Tango and went for a mood piece that left me cold
  21. Well you tell me who is voting for Bonner? It's easier isn't to just look at Cowboy Woody and vote? Who gives a shut how he dances. I'm not a big football fan but I enjoy it more when I understand the rules. But that's just me. Here, the rules are alternate facts, they mean nothing. Might as well vote for the cute rhythmically challenged dead eyed cowboy. He's more like his voters.
  22. I Wood but I don't like his fans Don't be so sure that it will be those three. The two white dudes left probably have more fans. Think of the votes they need and get
